Dark Devil Auto: A Community Grow Record

I can't say the green pheno is rare, but let's call it very elusive. Make sure you give us a smoke report!!

I guess I really should remove those two small branches all the way at the bottom?

Beez, maybe wait on cutting them. I have the one that is growing curly leaf'd now that in the last week the bottom branch grew 10 inches in a week while every other branch stayed at their height. It happened at the end of stretch.

Yeah its a green. It did start to show a touch of purple right at the end but not much to speak of.

What a gorgeous photo! :battingeyelashes: Nice harvest Knifemaker. :high-five: Will you be drying low and slo or hanging?

@SweetSue LOL...…...and as a rule that zippy buzz is found "on average" how far along in the grow? 85 ish days?

Let me check my notes.......BRB.

I dry as slow as possible

That's the way to go, lol, about three percent quicker than it'd take to allow mold growth. End up with partially cured bud instead of merely dry bud. On the other hand, going a further three percent slower from that point leads to ruin - so most folks don't make the attempt these days.

Did I hear someone mention their dda smelled like latex paint? I chuckled when I read that one day but I laughed when I smelled the house we painted in 1982. Those buds smell just like the chestnut brown trim paint we used back then, no doubt! These things are funny!

Twice as funny is this coming after the last delish description.

I meant to mention this....I started a second DD in a batch of soil that was exactly the same as the first grow but I tossed in finely composted bark and mushroom compost. After three months she got the chop, day I took this pic. When I finally pulled her up she had a two inch long root, a single root, that apparently hit something she didn't like and just stalled out. I left her in the corner just to see what would happen. Lesson learned.

Crazy plants! I can see why folks grow them though, and I haven't smoked a nug yet. They're just fun to watch. You didn't even kill the tiny one.
