My Dark Devil was harvested Dec. 22 right after my last update.

The yield on this plant when the buds were jarred was 25 grams. I attribute this to the light schedule and genetics. Overall, I'm impressed with the high.

I'll be watching the grows going on here and wish you all the best. :Love:
 
What a lovely idea; picking one strain and comparing notes. I'm watching with interest but won't be joining you for a bit as I'm only 8 days into my first ever grow and didn't even consider autos. I may give it a go if I can find DD in the UK.

My first one consistently gave me almost a 24 hour buzz. How long are yours lasting Jim?

True that.. took me a wee bit to get used to that 24hr thing. For a psychedelic feeling for first 3-4 hrs go to bed, wake up in the am with a nice little buzz to kick start my day. :thumb:

Okay it's official, y'all are killing me. 24 hrs? I must really need a tolerance break. Then again Ive never been one to get crippled on any smoke. Well...nothing natural, there was Jeffery. :goof: I've got 3 dda seeds just waiting for room in the tent, so soon, very soon. :)

Same deal, I've greened out a few times, usually when not in a comfortable (safe, secure, etc.) location, but otherwise I smoke myself down if I keep going.

I placed my order for three Dark Devils just this afternoon. Can't wait to pop them, I'm gonna find a place for one as soon as they arrive.

The 24 hour buzz caught both BB and I by surprise. Neither of us are lightweight consumers of cannabis by any definition. This may not be something everyone experiences, which was one of my primary reasons to start this thread. Having all these cultivator's reporting to a central thread we'll get the chance to see if that holds true for others. BB and I suspect it may be related to our use of the same soil recipe. We both grow in Clackamas Coot's style living organic soil. I have two curing at home that were grown with Doc Bud's High BrixBlend kit. It'll be interesting to see if they provide the same long-lasting buzz.

It's only the first few hours that are boarderline hallucinogenic for us, but the buzz is still at a high level after a night's sleep.

Maybe I'll give DD a try tomorrow. :lot-o-toke:

I'm skeptical about a 24 hour buzz. I start smoking about 5:30 each morning and I'm usually good for about 6 hours, then toke up again. We shall see.

Thank you Sue, I'm in the UK so I think shipping would be more than the seeds. I've got 15 seeds, nearly all 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD. The Dark Devil is a stunning plant though and I'd like to join your little DD community once I've got a couple of grows under my belt. If I get hooked I'll either reduce my tent size or get more lights, but the plan was always to only have enough for personal use. You'll notice my wibble on this topic in my journal. I should be banned from a keyboard in this phase of my meds cycle ;-)

Hi Max.... Herbies are based in the uk & I believe Gorilla seeds are too.

The 24-hour buzz may be a benefit of growing in LOS. That's a nice buzz you're getting. My brownies are a gram a slice and carry me for 8-10 hours at a time. When I'm on regular doses I don't even think of reaching for the stash until the middle of the night when I should be sleeping anyway. :laughtwo:
 
Dark Devil seed down ! My empty bucket told me I had better put something in her today. Done. Filled with fresh water and bubbling away waiting for tadpole placement. :) So far the largest harvest I've seen is 118g dry, anyone else get close to that? Do better? I figured I would get some size on her while I'm vegging my amnesia lemon, 5 wks today. I hope to flip the lights around Jan 31. I'll have a link in my signature as soon as the current crop gets chopped.
