Ive seen nothing but bad news with those sticks. They are super unpredicatable. Its my understanding this is how they are made-- Huge batches of Nutes mix together poorly with lots of 'salts'. Then injected into a form were they settle and are not distrubited evenly. If you insist on using them, proceed with caution. Im not saying you cant use them, just throw away thier instructions and use barely any ata time.

I was thinking the same thing earlier. That's what I did with those "MIRACLE GRO" sticks I purchased during my humble beginnings. But I didn't want to speak out of turn because I never heard anyone talking about dissolving them in water 1st.

puffin is still weak as all get out, i got a new set of nutes at lowes... its made out of fish,bone,blood and meat meals and is fully organic.. specially designed for tomatoes.. i figured that would be a better alternative

Im pretty sure anyting, even mg can work, as long as its in very small doses to guage the reaction by the MJ.
If you need a pick me up,go check out how Gitmo Bud has reacted after 3 weeks of torture... :) As long as you keep giving um light, they usually make it sir.
BTW... I want some OG kush... :)

i wish i had some OGK i switched to SMALL amounts of the tomato nutes.. shes starting ever so slowly to stand up and also her stalk is getting thicker and greener im thinking the membrane didnt fall off completely but is starting to now... i spritz her with water once a day to moisten top of soil and just switched nutes so ill see in a day or 2... im on 18/6 light

Great choice, I went with the MG line of nutes for my forst soil grow and I've got too say it was was very 'HOT' on my plants roots. They didnt like it at all (plus it was due to the fact I went with full recommended strength at the back of the box).

What is the NPK value on this stuff that you bought? Brand?

Don't worry about that membrane, some plants will take their time, but unfortunately restricts growth until the cotyledons fully open! Any pics?

the only thing i can safely say helps produce more trich is having lower humidity during flower, most of the heavy trich strains that grow outdoors grow in climates that have very low humidity and high temps, so places that make hash have their plants growing in lower humidity due to the climate where they are, so this suggests that lowering the humidity during flower produces more trich, if you search their net for strain hunters cheese, or search or strain hunters kings kush then they give you the best conditions needed to produce the best bud, they give you everything like day and night temps, humidity for veg and flower and they tell you when its best to lower humidity during flower, plus loads of extra info like ec, ph, thc levels throughout the grow, lots of good info but cant post links as they sell seeds from their site, our sponsors also sell their seeds but cant post links for obvious reasons, but search the net and you will find the vids, using gogle its the top link

Thanks for that Don Paul! its the small adjustments during all stages of growth that will give the most varying results, or at least from what I've learned. I have seen some of StrainHunter series but never really used them for a resource when I started growing. I'll be sure to check it out. I'll be be waiting for your PM Don ;)

Sorry Dank, I didn't go far back enough in your journal. That Matter Magic is said to have a 8-5-5 NPK value. I would mix to a 1/4-1/2 strength. Are you mixing this with your previously diluted MG sticks?

i got several pics but it ont let me upload them yet.. membrane is irritating more than anything else.. they are magic mater nutes. npk value to come soon
