Curso's True High Brix!

The above post was very informative. I see what you mean about needing the drench. Flowers look small for week 3. She looks to be doing more growing and less blooming, if that makes sense. Are you using much stress this round?

And you are using bloomit to control stretch?

Yep exactly that is the "lush" look we mention. 100% on the money. I am not using stress any more. I used it a couple times in veg and a once in flower.

I am using Bloomit this time to see what it'll do with the cat drench. I'm looking for what happens with a super reproductive drench does along with a similar built spray. Its a little bit more hardcore than brix, its basically Cat drench spray to put it simply. I vegged these plants a bout half the time my last round was because those were just to big. The led needs room to work well. Funny enough they only really stretched about 1/3'ish less.

Just sharing the experience :) what works for me might not work for everyone. Everyone needs to learn to apply what they learn to suit their needs. Nobody has the same environment and as long as we all realize that, we're good. (disclaimer...lol)

Although I do enjoy sharing what I come up with ;) I have a feeling your right that I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm looking forward to seeing if my hunch with LED and HB is right or if I was just stoner dreaming of super triced out buds...

curso i have to agree with you on the t&j tea that stuff with yucca is insane i pulverize some azomite with pestil & mortar and add a tbps to the tea and 24 hour bubble, then a deep drench and hit em with amaze/pgr and a day later they look like different plants, like they got inflated, jacked on roids, i mix my bloomit weaker by a touch to avoid the spots,i tend to get heavy handed with the spray, but that tea if i have my way i'll never grow without it
led made the strongest meds we have had spiffy just tested some hydro gsc and tho she liked it, she just wanted indigo endo so she cleared out her pipe and took 3 hits of the ie and said now thats the stuff!! she said the gsc was nice but weak and wore off in 20 min she had 10 15 hits and just didnt get relief, that speakes volumes to me about led/hb bud, and anything the led/hb stuff touches is coated with gold dust,:high-five: i have a good idea your gonna be floored at the trichs they produce ,my jars are coated inside with a layer of trichs, i'll try to get pics for you

I wouldnt bother with the cookies to be honest, to me it's a watered down version of a shitty OGK. But hey wtf do I know. I trics are starting to form now on these plants. I cant wait to see them in 5ish weeks.

T&J tea is great. It reminds me of Chocolate Cake...

Okay so here are a few post cat drench/bloomit pics...

Well, this morning the plants in the veg tent seem to have finally hooked in and are taking off now. They were started under 12/12 so it took a minute to adjust to the GLR light cycle. I transplanted an OPP (gdp x gsc) into a 2gl smart pot with a roots/transplant hook up. The urkles will stay in starters until they give me at least two sets of leaves. I'm digging the full LED grow, I can't wait to see the results.

Tale of the drenches....continued..

Okay this what a plant looks like when it's time to switch things up. Meaning...It's time to switch the soil energy from reproductive (cat drench) back to grow (with energy) for a week to bulk what's there up some ;). We'll do this a couple times switching the energy. This is an HSO sour diesel #2 and just had a dose of energy like 10 minutes before this pic.

This is what a bud looks like when it needs one more dose of Cat Drench. Which it has had. This is the poor performing Ak cross. She's coming along alright, really stretchy and kinda just taking up space (hash plant ;))

Curso you bastard(in the nicest way possible) you make it look so amazing and easy, I hate it! Not really, I always like seeing you're produce, it looks so so beautiful. Looking forward to your next update.

LOL!!! Bro it's the kit. I'm not making it look easy, it is this easy. I've used the high brix other products nothing beats the kit. T&J is a nice second, but it's still second best to the kit. Once you see what the drenches do for yourself, you'll notice how much control you have over what your plants are doing. I'm trying to show it in pictures, it's not easy though. These plants are just impressing me. I'm sure its a combination of lighting, temp's and this amazing 3rd run soil.

But yeah bro it's all the kit. Yeah I'm growing it, I get that. It's the method and ingredients that make it good.

Man I hate quoting myself however this really applies...

You can give me the nicest kitchen and equipment made but if you give me ingredients from McDonald's menu at the end of the day, its still McDonald's...

Lol, Curso, I just thought of an analogy I think you'll get a kick out of.

Earlier this year, I found myself watching the cookoff competitions on Cable TV, and I encountered truffle oil for the first time. I've never used it, but from the way the judges talked about it I understand that it's tricky stuff. It got to be almost a running gag - somebody would reach for the truffle oil and the judges would cringe ...

So, with this high brix soil and the foliars and drenches ... stuff like Cat drench is like truffle oil - it's the perfect thing to use when the other ingredients are all harmonized and blended. But if the dish isn't right for it, phew - bad results.

Eh?

LMFAO!!! YES!!! The cat drench is like great mustard...Nasty if you take a spoon full, but along with tea and good soil life (nice piece of bread some meat and cheese) nothing could be better.

Man that stuff can taste foul if used in excess. Yeah when using that (which is rarely) a drizzle is to much. It's great with in things, but only use a small amount "white truffle oil" makes a mushroom risotto fantastic. I've made a few fail "White truffle vinaigrette's" in my time.

Yeah but with you at the stove it's gonna be the best damn MC'donalds you ever had! Of that I'm certain, because you can say the opposite too put a dip hole in the finest kitchen with all the worlds finest ingredients, and your likely gonna get a gag fest disaster for dinner, experience and knowledge can't be compensated for with all the $ and tools in the world, I have seen it first hand with growing here go rummage thru the graveyard of abandoned journals and you will find plenty of grows that started with all the high $ equipment and nutes etc, ended or never got off due to lack of exp! I know docs kit is the bombdigity! But it could still be used wrong in a bad enviro you can't sell yourself short! Even before you started high brix you we're growing beautiful dank buds, so don't talk crap bout my buddy curso!:high-five:

Good point and thank you :Namaste:

They have been nice and dank but nothing quite like this. This stuff is a special kind of dank:) I can see an amazing dankness on my horizon. This led is working some magic on these sour diesel #2 and the Indigo Endo (which has extremely sativa traits in High brix soil I'll get some pics up for you tomorrow) bro. They're already frosting up making the cookies look kinda lame (sorry any cookie fans out there).

Doode! I got my new toy holy crap bright on another level of bright, I can't even force my eyes open with it on,way brighter than a 600watt hps, the indigo endo has a smidgen of sativa from the purple power like less than 20% but mine did not have very wide leaves despite the GDP dad, and everyone that has tried it sez it's the most potent med they've ever had! True story, spiffy has had everything I've grown in the last 3 years and even she says it's hands down the most potent thing to date,I remember it frosting up before any of the others even the blue dream, might just be one of those magical Crosses .I hope!!
