Curso's True High Brix!

Dude I love the sprayer, the plants loved it too :high-five:

I'm still doing feed, water x3, feed, yes and brix weekly (I missed last week). What is going to get transplanted in the next couple days will...Only get sprayed every other week. I water less more often in early flower and deep soak in late flower once a week. That will all probably change with the 7gl pots though. I think the pot is bigger than my res...

Edit: The single cola gsc that I had harvested, I fed energy 1/2 strength every other watering week 7 on and no transplant past week 6.

It gave me .7oz more than the topped one that I had fed normal.

Great info from the both of you! We really don't know the best feeding schedule yet. This hasn't been done before!

I'm finding some positive results with heavier feeding....but not too heavy. 1.5x as the kit is a good starting point for some strains. However, I'm finding the third generation soil is pretty rich and doesn't need much.

Here's what I'm doing right now on feeding:

Energy, water, 1/2 strength Transplant, water, Energy, water, Double strength transplant, water, 1/2 strength Energy. I'm flushing with the half strength stuff....full dose of Tea in everything. I'm really liking it with the Cationic drench.

I've also been including a couple sneaky bits into the Recharge: Some Biosol Forte and some K-mag. Very little of both, but I think there's enough K-mag to be helpful, without causing problems. This is due to the increased phosphorus in the Cationic drench and Transplant....it can take a small bit of K.

So I'm not flirting quite as close to the magnesium deficiency as before. Still, nothing wrong with a couple waterings with epsom salt if needed. Tap water might negate that as well....gonna try that someday, but my water sucks.

Is hard water as much of an issue in mineralized soil, Doc? I have a total alkalinity of 280, kinda high.

I got another new toy this evening :high-five: It's niiiice :bigtoke:

your looking at 8 to 10 litres to get a bit of run off in a 7 gallon pot bro.

Thanks Doc!! After doing a run or 2 "by the bookish". I learned a few things about these strains I'm running now, what they like and how to maximize them and I think with the bit of info you just shared I should be able to push them just a little bit further. Are you still suggesting to spray brix every other week with the 3rd run?

The lab suggested not spraying at all in the third run. I'll spray every other week if they look like they need it. So far so good.

Thanks Curso and Doc for the feeding and watering info. It helps so much to have you guys give me feedback. It is pretty awesome that this hasnt been done before. We are on the cutting edge.

Your plants pretty much prove that bro. I've got a couple that look OK right now too, so does Curso.

I'd say the High Brix style of growing delivers as advertised. Perhaps better, consider I don't advertise...

I agree 100% Doc, it does deliver. I am really looking forward to growing some high brix trees :) Although the diesel that is finishing up is sure to please.

I took a rip of cookies tonight, shit tasted like cookie dough, really nice and strange at the same time. Definitely a "that was good let me rip that again" type of moment.

If you ever do advertise you are welcome to any of my pics, journal, comments, whatever you need Doc.

i have started bubbleing 2 5 gal buckets since moving to larger containers, sucks having to stop halfway thru and remix & wait, i even bubble plain water lol sometimes i drop a fine mist diffuser connected to my oxygen concentrater at 6 lpm, after an hour it almost acts like its carbonated, not sure if its just another one of my crackpot theories or not but dissolved o2 seems to make em happy! the gsc sounds like the kinda stuff i like, odd wierd and ecclectic flavors are my favorites, i miss the jar off tt that smelled of garlic & fruit loops:thumb:

I generally have a 10 gl tub with a couple air stones in it bubbling water. Today...it's empty, everything got watered ;) They're getting basically 2qt a day of water in flower, I'd rather water every morning than over water them. Veg got watered too and everything got brix (back to the program).

I really wanted to take some pics today but I'm not moving them any more than I have to right now. The Sour Diesel #2 is getting really, really heavy and got tied to the post in the tent, yes I have bamboo, I've just been a bit lazy. She will come down sometime this week, probably Wednesday. Chem Valley Kush isn't to far behind the diesel. She has a couple weeks I would guess 2 weeks tops she just reeks of lemon gas. The GSC's have a while yet 2-3 weeks, they're awesome!!! I am really looking forward to harvesting these 4 plants.

Well, the 2 GDP's got transplanted. The 2nd one hasn't shown sex yet, leads me to believe it's female. The male is cranking and really stinky. I'm thinking that the lower popcorn buds on the CVK and a GSC will get pollinated. It'll be faster than waiting for plants to flower. The AK x Sour Diesel #2 sprouted too :high-five: those will be the last seed's I sprout for a while. They'll hit dirt in the morning. I had to wait on water and stared doing bong rips, I'm still doing bong rips...

Things are getting done today. Everything in veg is getting transplanted into the 7gl bags, staked, tied up and fed with roots/transplant/tea. I'm really impressed with how things grew, I did no training to them other than cleaning them up. They're huge!!!! Half are going straight into flower, the other half will go back into veg until there is space. I could fit 9 7gl's in the 4x4 with no problems. with the extra floor space I'll have a couple plants in 2gl's. The AK x Sour Diesel #2's hit dirt and are 12/12 seeds, along with the GDP and maybe a clone or 2. I should be able to fit 6 2gl bags, or at least that is the plan. That puts me a plant short of my personal limit and makes my wife a happy lady.

Okay here's a few pics...
This is a GSC that has about 8 weeks of veg in a 2gl smart pot under 200w of MH, the entire pot was a root ball, it got scored too.
