Curso's True High Brix!

Hot Damn Curso!!!! You have totally nailed it, your flowers look absolutely gorgeous!!! Beautiful colored leaves, trichomes everywhere, swollen calyx's and I think I can smell them from here!!!

Those are definitely some contest winners right there!!! Kudos, Reps and cheers on some mighty fine smoke my friend!!

Root tea anyone??? I can't believe how much root mass that one plant had...looks like the structure of a DWC grow or something. That is also just incredible!

Bravo and Congrats to a very nice finish, I bet you can't wait to try them out :)

Thanks Ice!!!!

I can't put into words how happy I am with that plant, 3rd run soil and led is a pretty nice combo. I am super happy to have switched to led, this grow was my prove it and it looks to me it proved itself. Timing is the key to the kit, to late with one thing makes everything in the pot off with the cycle of the plant. That's the art of the HB kit. Plants will always be plants our job as growers is to give them what they want when they need it. I think I have it figured out now, we'll see with this flowering run in my 4th run soil. My plan of action is a whole lot different and it seems to be working out pretty well. The PPP that has been flowering has some really nice big blooms on it and the Urkle is acting like a plant unlike the last one.

Yeah man those roots were some happy little things, there was loads of soil left to recycle too, that make me a happy guy. That was a happy plant through its whole life. Even in veg it was a beast, I wish I had kept the dude and made back crosses with the 2 but it is what it is, it gives me something to hope for with these babies.

I am looking forward to this Underdog Og and the Lost Coast Hashplant (the og didn't sprout) they should be interesting in this soil.

Yes brother that definately seems to be the secret. Do you mind elaborating on your experience? I have two very different phenos of blue hammer right now and am trying my best to feed each girl appropriately. I try not to stray from kit instructions in regard to timing the first l cat drench, but due to the extreme differences in phenotype, I still feel unsure as to exactly when to flip the soil energy. I've been erring on the side of a little late is better than too soon. I remember a post you made a while back with a pic of a plant you said was ready for a cat drench. It looked like when bud sites were all little sea urchins with pistils right before calyxs start forming. Because I'm using GLR I feel like the girls flip really fast and my cocoa lady looked like your pic at week two..so I followed instructions and waited till the first day of week 4 to do first cat drench. It looked a few weeks more mature than your picture, and I wonder if it was a bit late. If I had gone a week earlier that would have only been 2 weeks from the flip which seems early.

If you got the time I'd appreciate your imput brother.. Mahalo

I'm looking forward to Curso's answer too!

Okay no problem. I use glr too. My timing...Well...Okay. Let me see if I can put this down for you guys. Sometimes its hard to put it into words and I will probably add to this tomorrow with pics. The ppp is ready for an energy flip so I'll take pics of her for you in the morning.

Okay. I look at it this way now. I haven't shared it because I'm still kinda seeing how it works. I have been switching the soil with the plant. When the stretch is happening and the bud's are starting to form, flip it. She's ready to reproduce. If you see calyxes your to late and might as well not use it. Skip to energy and bulk what you have.

Now that she is kicking out loads of pistils let her, leave her alone and give her some water. Once the bud is just a massive ball of pistils (pics of this tomorrow). She need's to be bulked. Its time for energy. Let her rip. Give her transplant but leave the cat drench alone you're done with that. You guys gotta remember that that late cat drench has never been added to best practice. I only did that to the Cookies because it was kinda flat. Doc has a better fix for that issue.

I also want you remind you guys that its small changes in the soil that make differences. Drenching with anything other that Transplant every other watering is a waste of product. Let it do its job, while we do ours and spray/water the plant. I think sometimes we over think this stuff. Its a simple method of growing. Watering 3 times in between drenches to me is best practice. It also saves you loads of thinking and product. The only thing that should be on a schedule are the sprays IMHO.

I just got home from fighting for like 3 hours straight and I'm pretty stoned so I'll add to this as I see fit tomorrow. But this is the jest of it. I hope it helps...The pics tomorrow will help.

Shes getting a cat drench in 5 days. Correct?

Curso right on man. I was kinda starting to think something along those lines as well. The cat drench really makes the girl throw mad pistils, so basically right when they start showing its best to cdrench bring on the pistils, then fatten them up later. Reminds me of that excerpt posted from the lab about the tomato grower who grew his shit huge with no flower, then flipped the soil energy to repro and bam flowers everywhere. You got it dialed bro so id say we are on the right track. I'll keep trying my best. Thanks again

Yes bro!!! That's what made me try it this way. The timing of that is really the window of when blooms are starting and the stretch in my grow. The late one I might do if I'm feeling it but with the transplant in the water more often I am under the opinion that the soil is already in reproductive mode, just on a smaller scale.

I'll take the pics of this plant in a few minutes I have energy getting ready for her. She has really, really big blooms. I am super impressed with this strain so far. By far the biggest blooms I've had at this stage of the game :)
