Curso's True High Brix!

Okay..So...I ate a bud of OPP. Very interesting. I mean....I really dig it. Finally get to taste that flavor I smell. Makes sense, I have no idea why I never tried it before, doing what I do for a living. The flavor is really complex. All I can say is try it. Now I wouldn't eat a strain that smells like cat piss or a dirty bud. It did make me go take a nap and a great nap it was :high-five:

Regarding eating bud or leaf, I thought I had read once years ago that it can be hard on the stomach, for some reason I don't recall. Also thought that THC was only fat or alcohol soluable and eating it on its own would not get one high. I guess those theories can be chucked in the river , eh ? ;)

It's not so much about getting high. It's more the health benefits from cannabis in its raw state. Only a few benefits from cannabis need to be heated mainly the intoxicating ones. While I'm growing these amazingly nutrient dense buds, I might as well get some of the healthy benefits from it other than getting very well medicated :) It's similar to the benefits from juicing. I have a chripopractor friend who swears by going into her dad's garden and steals buds to eat them. She's done that shit for years. We always made fun of her...She's always been a head of her time...

All sounds perfectly reasonable ;) I never doubted the intent. It must be a wonderful thing, to know that what you are consuming is perfectly safe because you know exactly what went into it. That's awesome !

Mucous membranes absorb THC and Cannabinols. I heard of some adventurous women in NorCal who would take raw cannabis buds and put it "down there in there" which caused them to get ridiculously horney. No....I haven't tried this....with raw bud anyways.

I guess size matters after all ;)

Curso, thanks for everything you contribute to making this community! I'm always appalled when I end up on another forum and end up reading ego battles and worthless contributions to answer simple questions. You and Doc have not only changed my growing ideology, but continue to expand the way I view the world. It is always refreshing to sign in and find conversations about health, happiness, peaceful revolution...........and see killer bud porn. After following your grows for so long I finally decided to post in light of recent info about one of my patients.
One patient in my collective has a type of MS that spurred his physician to recommend finding alternative solutions, because western medicine had nothing to offer him! He sought us out because he heard cannabis might help. He is really focused on CBD strains, so he has been juicing raw leaf and smoking high CBD strains pretty hardcore. His latest update, other than feeling great, is that his spinal lesions have not increased in size. In fact, his doctor said they appear to be reduced in size! Another juicing patient with a brain tumor did have some digestive issues so she started drying the leaves and making tea (along with CBD capsules and regular smoking), and she is reporting great improvements (although not recorded yet).
I just can't say enough how grateful I am to have stumbled into this community. The recent activity in releasing prohibition in our state has been nothing but state agencies wanting money, and people are pretty upset. We are absent of "scientific studies" because of prohibition, but I believe anecdotal evidence will become evermore important in saving our health from the government. What is happening right now in medical gardens, and the info being shared in threads here on 420mag, will be force that breaks us into the new frontier. No gangs, drugs, stigmas, or taboos; just healthy people living healthy.

Thank you so much for the kind words and sharing about your patient's. It is a great community here on 420mag. Gotta thank the staff for providing us a forum in to contribute to. They promote what I can get behind. The world is full of negativity its nice to know you can come to a place that is pretty free of that. Really there's no more open space in the world for more of that stuff.

I am happy to have helped honestly. One day we'll be able to look back at this time of prohibition much like they did with alcohol and analyze it and put it into our great grand children's history books and show you tubes of people going to jail for a plant and say..."We can't allow this to happen again"...

Until then we'll share and all be together as best we can, hiding behind screen names and cleaned pics. Saying "man I wish I could try that shit"...:)

You are so right about prohibition making "science" silent on cannabis. However, there have been several studies sanctioned by the government with the noble goals of "finding out how bad marijuana smoke is for lung tissue," or "Just how addictive is Marijuana when compared to Heroin?"

On its face, that is horrible science. However, despite the built in bias those studies showed significant health benefits from smoking marijuana.

There is hard, accepted science regarding the endocannabinol system. The obvious, verifiable benefits of cannabinols are well documented.

The Cannabis lifestyle should be built around natural, nutrient dense, non GMO food, pure water, and clean organic, nutrient dense bud. That's a healthy lifestyle right there. Add in the good fats and life improves quite dramatically.

An Opp Bud for your sunday morning enjoyment....

Side note: That plant is in 3rd run of kit soil. The 4th run is looking pretty promising. The pineapple skunk cross and purple urkle are looking really nice. The Pineapple is going to have some really big buds:high-five:

Everything is getting flipped, transplanted, fed, moved and cleaned. The seedlings are nice little plants now, I'll move the older ones and start the process all over again...
