Curso's True High Brix!

I'd like to point this post out as it contains what I consider the "formula for success."

The High Brix stuff is like having the right tools.
What you do with those tools is up to interpretation, provided you stay in the HB "zone."

The drenches we use are all "approved" for our crops. They do different things. How and when we apply them has a huge impact on the plants, and each grower will hopefully use their artistry in using the basic tools to produce something that they are pleased with.

There are other horizons too. I'm experimenting with organic steamed bone meal on the OG's. I like it better than high P guano so far...the plants are higher brix than with the guano, and have a better smell.

Then, there's the regular application of Transplant, in combination with other drenches. ETC!!!! You get the picture.

Let's use an analogy:

First you learn a C scale.
Then you learn C chords: 3rd, 5th, and 7th.
Then you learn scales in other keys, the circle of fifths, minor chords, diminished, suspended 9ths, 7ths, etc.

This is the boring but necessary part of learning to play the piano. But those who learn the basics and can then tap into their own creative energy, coupled with passion.....well, those people go on to produce something beautiful!

It's no different with growing. We've got the chords, the scales, and an understanding of how things work together....Curso's mind works like a chef. He recognizes patterns, links them to recent action he's taken, and wonders "What if I did this?" Then he records the result and learns from it.

I think slightly differently, but the end result is the same: We take the basic chords and scales (ingredients, pots, pans and heat) and combine them together to produce something pleasing.

That's all High Brix is: Soil that's tuned to allow maximum growth to the plant. We're in tune. We've got the ingredients. Now we can put them together with a strain and produce something we love!

Growing is Art AND Science. Occasionally dumb luck factors in.....but as we've seen here, even beginners can grow amazing stuff via science alone. Add to that an artistic touch and you've got something special.

I have to :bump: this. It's absolute 100% truth..

Can I pay you to raise my kids? My god the knowledge you would drop on them would be amazing. When is Mensa coming for you? Or have they already have you?

Don't lie, that's that hso hashplant in full flower.
I wish...lol That's actually a mini rose bush I have in the t&j soil I used before Doc introduced the kits. I'll try to find a bloom pic of my hb roses. They get the tail end of brix if I made to much and they get tea and drenches every now and then. They are beautiful flowers man and loads of them. It's had bloomit before too...lol

That plant is only 2 years old ;)

Some days I think you would have lots of fun as a chemical engineer.

I like to play with nature bro. She's amazing :)

I even give those roots some of what I use in my grow in the spring ;) I like banging flowers....and...living in a condo...people like to walk by and see what your up to. I mirrored the windows and shit but that plant gets massive and blocks people from looking in ;)

Loads of action today in my garden I didn't take pics, sometimes you just want to get stuff done. I will however tell you all about it. I found a couple nanners pushing out with the 2nd pistil push on the urkle, having early flowering plants in the same tent says it had to go. So, down it came. Might get 2 zips off it. Fine by me (I wish I had kept the OPP male). So...I cleaned up the other urkle and tossed her into the fire. Man that's a big plant. She's as old as the current flowering plants. She was a back up plan that wasn't needed. So man I have no clue how long she's been vegging.

I am happy with where the soil was at with that urkle. The PPP that I transplanted into it hooked right in and started seeing that HB come out, in like 5 days. The big urkle is in 4th run too. I really think the test for my soil with be the 5th run of it. I'm thinking this because, I added amendment after the 2nd run. So my 3rd run is similar to a "gassed up" first run. I think the 4th will be like the 2nd with less drenching. That's the other thing I have noticed as my soil matures, I don't have to add much of the drenches at all. It looks to me as the soil develops it becomes water more, drench less. I am planning on drenching few times this 4th run grow. I'll keep the energy up in the beginning and switch it and then switch it back. But its just going to be one each drench, as needed and transplant water the rest of the grow and see what happens. I've been doing drench, transplant water x3, drench. Timing is everything....

okay...a couple pics...:)

This is the Urkle all cleaned up, she dug right into that pot in a couple days she was giving me new growth.

Waxy!!! :)
Mine is starting to get there too! Cant wait :)
I might need to get some bamboo or a cage cuz i think my girls are gonna get heavy. Ill let you know after the next energy drink :)

Good afternoon curso, you mentioned that you grew pineapple skunk. Did you have any problems in the high brix. My girls are growing good but the leaves are 2 tone, green and lime green. Do have any idea what's goin on?

New growth bro, that's what my guess would be. Pineapple Skunk was fantastic in HB, I have 4 Pineapple Skunk x GDP going right now, I really like it. I've liked every HSO strain I've grown.
