Curso's True High Brix!

I would absolutely LOVE to have a 420 get together with all you guys! There are a couple of logistical issues with such a thing, namely that it is illegal to transport the greatest plant in the world across state lines, and that many of us need explicit permission from the government to ingest produce grown with our own hand on our own property, and that such permission only applies to a defined geographical area, etc.

However, having said all that, I might have the perfect place to have such a party! The weather in this part of Cali is great. We've got hundreds of wineries, beaches, lakes streams and large backyards.

I hung with 3 real-life Rasta guys on the 27 and 28th last month and we all smoked eachothers weed around the fire, talking about Babylon, growing, the mystical properties of Jah-herb, vegetarianism (I'm not, they were) etc. Between the 4 of us and my wife we smoked prolly and ounce, maybe more. Haven't had that much fun in recent memory!

It would be awesome to join you fine people in such a manner! Shottafires not far away from here, and there are other kit users in this state who are killing it who would join us. BBQ, pool, sunsets, stars......life could be worse.

Man I realized how much I don't like to travel now that eating well is a habit. It's hard to find healthy choices on the road. People really do look at you like your crazy when you ask them for a couple packages of butter for your coffee...

Thanks for reading man :) I'm using the factory spectrum on the 240x5w :) There is another spectrum available from them but you'd have to ask for it. It's John705's spectrum copied from his area 51 panels that are doing very well too, you just have to ask Sara for it when you order.

The one thing I wish I had done is gotten double veg spectrum on my veg light because I'm never going to flip it to bloom. Just something to think about :)

Id be there in a heartbeat! Im sure if the word got out and rsvps were requested it would be one hell of a smokefest! Curso could put me to work preparing some high brix grub and we'll smoke all of Docs herb lol...oh yeah!! Good times would definitely be had by all!! :)
 
Okay people...I pulled the trigger on bloomit today. I did it a bit differently this time to try to avoid the dreaded bloomit spot's. I mixed my bloomit with 2Tbl of Dextrose and .75 oz bloomit to 1.25ish qt of water. I sprayed them on the bottom sides trying my best to avoid getting the tops soaked, waited a half hour, gave them all a good shake then...Got some RO into the other spray bottle and gave the tops of the leaves a nice rinse. I hate the ugly spots from that stuff, while it is an amazing tool, its not one that is suggested. A wrong move with it will ruin your crop. So please, don't rush out and buy it or request it with a kit. It's generally a bad idea. I use it because I have it, these plants really dont need it. I like to walk the line...

I'm going to make some High Brix Grass Fed Magic Butter this afternoon ;) Yep I could tell ya all sorts of stuff to cook, just takes a bit of imagination and a Magic Butter 2 machine ;)

I cant wait to get a nug of hbx white widow in their faces and see the reaction lol Im sure ill have the same reaction when i hit some but i already know to expect the unexpected :)

Ill be asking a lot of questions throughout this grow cuz i promised the ol lady i wouldnt do a journal (shes paranoid about the whole growing in the house thing). If theres a way i can send pics of everything i would but alas i dont think we can pm pics?

I have a huge assortment of femd seeds to choose for my next project maybe i can post those some time lol

I just leave that stuff as it is. Bloomit is really acidic so it'll eat through some leaf material in no time. That was the first time I've rinsed them after spraying bloomit, it made sense to me to keep it from settling on there and baking. Brix and stress aren't as retarded strong as bloomit either. I even mixed it on the light side just to be sure. They just look so nice I hated to make them look like some spotted dick.
