Dude you have some great genetics thereLooks like you have a good amount of grows to have a really nice mix. I love mixing all my strains together it makes for an interesting couple of hours.
Im anxious for everything to come in, especially the freebies. I asked for different freebies on the second order and they said it wouldnt be a problem (great seed company! Real cheap too!) Ill end up with enough seeds to last me a lifetime as im not a frequent smoker (the ww once finished will last me 6 months at least) Hell, ill probably give most of it away lol Im really doing this for the old ladys pain and for my enjoyment. Ive wanted to grow mj for a very long time, just never had the means in the past. Now that money is not even a slight issue i can finally live my dream, that why im kinda particular with my choices but still want to try some of the classics and in high brix im sure those classics will take on whole new characteristics no one has ever experienced! Good days ahead my friend!!

Let me tell you something about what you are about enbark on...lol...Well, while medicating may not be addictive, growing high brix sure the fuck is!!!! Yep Doc swears by pure strains, I've been pretty happy with most of the mutts I've grown in HB though. I think everything is just amazing in HB. It's just a clean high, its like good moonshine man, that great clean buzz with no hangover. You're going to really enjoy your grow's. Your old lady is gonna need to be renamed to "happy lady" especially if you make her edibles. HB makes some great edibles!!! Doc will agree to that as well I am sure. I do a medieval martial art where you kinda need some sort pain management. I swear by hb cookies

Been there done that homey!! Cant say i wanna do it again either! Im sittin at 6'1" 235# which is a lil heavier than im used to but im still strong and feel pretty good. This spring/summer between grows i plan on doing a high brix veggie garden ( i too love to cook btw). I was supposed to go to the french cullinary institute in nyc oct 27 2001 after getting out of the marine corps but alas the school just happend to be right down the street from the twin towers thusly sending me in a whole different direction in life.
Oh, and i was serious about the 420 magazine cannabis cup thing! I think there are enough top growers that frequent this site for that to be a viable idea! Thoughts?

I think it'd be a fantastic idea bro. It would be difficult to get multi state/country entries with the current laws though. You should PM Rob or 420girl about it you never know what can happen when you talk to the right people
But there are some federal guidelines they have to follow in order to continue doing what they do for us. I feel ya on the weight...eating clean, living clean, smoking clean bro...what a fantastic feeling. Yeah man I would've never gained the weight if it weren't for the pharm shit they were preaching I needed to take. Was just a pain in the ass to lose it...lol
Be happy you're life turned into another direction. While I do love to cook, that profession is a young mans game man. It's very demanding on your body (In a proper joint mind you, I'm not a mom and pop type of guy) and your time, like all of it. Be happy you got to devote your life to something other than making rich people fat
Now I wouldn't change anything about my life or career I very much enjoy seeing the smile on peoples faces when that plate of food makes it to their table and after they eat that fantastic meal. I think the way we cook for people is wrong but...it's also hard to force people to eat right on a menu.

I love watching people eat my cooking! All i ever hear is the clinking of forks and knives and the occasional "mmmm!" Then afterwards the burps and farts have something to be desired but its funny nonetheless hahaha!!! (This past xmas lol)

See here's the big misconception of being a chef...We don't cook, we manage. Our skills as a cook get us into a place where we no longer need them really. Just the knowledge of how things work is all we use, the rest is putting out fires and paperwork. But you have to be able to get in there and throw down every now and then. The sign of a good cook is one that can go from bullshitting around to completely focused in the blink of an eye. That's when you know your good. I know loads of fantastic home cooks, some make much more appealing food than I do. LOL did you happen to see that Master Chef Junior or kids show?? Man those kids made some pretty food...I was blown away.

From a very young age ive been fascinated with cooking and preparing food but i had no idea how hectic it really was. But at a young age of 29 and being a sgt in the marines i knew i was up for the challenge. Oh well, life goes on Its all good now though cuz im pretty happy and i make a grip of money! Lol Albeit from working many many hours. I work 84 hours a week so tv programs have become something in life im not privy to quite frequently lol Dont get me wrong tho, i do still love the assortment of cooking programs on tv

Now thats a ton of work...84 hours man...Yeah that's a lot. Being a chef isn't as easy as we wish it was trust me, but then again I'm sure you could say the same about your job too. It's a give and take...Life's fun isn't it? I've actually been debating shopping myself around and seeing if I can find a suitable chef job, I kinda miss it. We'll see...As long as I'm only married to my wife, not a job, I'd consider taking a one. I really like having a life, money honestly doesn't mean the world to me. I measure success by my happiness not my bank account. Jon705 and I used to joke with each other and say "jobs are for suckers"....but they do hold some value

Lol Right now my biggest worries are "is my home brew beer gonna taste good and is my marijuana be some mind blowing smoke" so i consider myself a lucky man! I have a beautiful woman who puts up with my antics (she bought me the brew kit), a comfy bed, a good job, i eat well, have 2 cars and have a place to sit when i need to take a shit lmao!!! What more can a man want?!

I have some friends who brew, one guy made a raspberry ale that was just incredible. That stuff can be about as fun as growing, without the amazing happy buzz at the end...lol
It's always great when your life has come to a point where you can just relax and enjoy your life together.
