Curso's True High Brix!

Here are a couple pics of before lights on...I only got 3 then the battery died (sorry). These are like 3 days after their first bloomit (last too) and first cat drench. I ended up with 2 leaves with a little bit of spotting. Proof enough you can't be to careful with that shit.

I'll take some more later today after I charge the battery, we're pretty much snowed in for the day.

Beautiful bro!!! Im having a lil issue with rh in my tent right now cuz its really cold and dry down here but i think the lil ladies will be fine. Im sitting at 77,with lights off but the rh is only 40% and that with my humidifier running at full blast. Its supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow so im sure ill get everything back to ideal by tomorrow :)
Youre plants look beautiful bro! I love all the bud sites! :). Great job

One can dream....

I met a guy recently who actually does a version of this high in the hills of Belize. Jealous doesn't begin to describe how I view his life, but he was such a cool guy, all potential jealousy was drowned out by respect.

Keep your eye on old Doc here....I've got a few tricks up my sleeve in the coming years.

Ill build everything! I have 12years of building everything from commercial buildings, condominium complexes, res homes and multi-million dollar mansions! Ill work for food herb and accomidations! Cant speak for the other laborers but im in!! :)

Okay so I dropped some beans yesterday evening. Just for documentation's sake, I have going...From HSO...Lost Coast Hashplant, Lost Coast OG, Pineapple Skunk, Bubba Kush, Amhurst Sour Diesel, Dessert Diesel and Sour Diesel #2 (Green Crack was a buster). TK Seeds Underdog OG along with 6 OPP and maybe a Purple Urkle or 2 clones I haven't decided on that yet, but I might as well while I'm at it, I'll have to count my pots. These are going to be a breeding run so yield isn't really an issue, I'll probably run them all in 2 gl in the small tent.. I have some friends that want some OPP and I really want to give them something solid so I'll make a bunch of OPP x OPP too. Most of those were freebies and I might as well try for something, I've been happy with everything I've grown from HSO so...

I should have enough flowers from my next 2 harvests that this breeding run shouldn't become an issue. Like I said many pages back...I'm all done with seed banks. So I'll make myself a bunch of different strains and see what happens. I'll take pics as I plant some seed they're all mostly done floating.

My flowering plants...Oh How I love this method, my plants buds get bigger daily. They have had one watering since they've had Cat drench, the OPP took 6qt and almost dry one day later. I am wishing I had them in 10gl bags now only because the OPP is drinking like a hydro plant and the bigger pot would probably stay wet a little bit longer. But no biggie. The other 2 aren't drinking quite as fast.

I gave veg a deep root soak yesterday. They were pretty dry. I had given them all a couple cups of energy/tea a couple days ago and let them dry out. They soaked for 10 minutes each then drained into a catch pan and chucked back into the veg tent. They're all taking their sweet time. Which is good, I really need them to continue going slow. I'm running the light in there on veg because they really don't need or really use the red in veg, so I choose to not waste the energy on them. I am going to use the bloom cycle in there for the breeders.

Bloomit~Okay after using it once and seeing spots...I have to tell you guys whom are choosing to use it this. Do it away from the lights, don't allow it to bake on at all. That's the only thing I did wrong when I used it last, those couple of leaves must have dried up a bit faster than the rest (they're right under the light) but otherwise I consider my last spray with it, really successful. My buds are banging!!!!

Pic's after a couple coffee's and a cookie...

Okay let me try to make this make sense...

Here's how I start my seeds~
I put them in 3/4oz portion cups (I just happen to have them) and fill them with water then put them in a dark place over night and with a poke they should all sink.

Next I fill my starter pots with soil and root zone while tea and transplant are chilling for a few to come alive....
IMG_56561.JPG

Now I add the transplant/tea mixture BEFORE I place my seeds in the pot...
IMG_56581.JPG

Poke a hole no more than knuckle deep and pour the seed into the hole and lightly cover...
Label/date/1pt of transplant water in the bottom of the pan then it goes on the seedling mat as is...
IMG_5659.JPG

While I have a nice hole dug in the middle of my cooking soil...as you could see there is nothing left of the male I chucked a couple weeks ago. This is how I feed my soil...

Dig a hole in the middle and toss a handful of root zone in the hole...
IMG_56611.JPG

Throw your leaf, stems, roots any organic matter from your grow and more root zone on top of it...
IMG_56622.JPG

Cover and get moist, and come back in a couple weeks and it'll be gone..
IMG_56632.JPG

Just so everyone is clear on what a plant should look like before you water it in Veg here's a purple urkle in the need of a root soaking...she's in the tub now...

I'll drag out the flowering plants in a few...:peacetwo:

Love the tutorials:)
I appreciate all that bud. This might sound silly but arent you ever worried about those roots doing something like ah, growing lol. And what about adding some non-beneficials to your cooked soil? Meaning something you dont want in there.
Thanks for everything you do bro :)

I'm pretty careful with the piles. Actually I was a bit worried when I cut up that OPP dude and threw him in there, but darkness and friendlies won the day :) I have trays for the leaves I remove. I haven't had any issues that would warrant me being afraid to use my organic matter. They are super healthy leaves I end up removing to open things up so I have never even had that concern of putting bad things into my soil.

I know its probably somewhere on this site but id like you (or doc) to explain how and why GLR works and how it benefits high brix please sir. I have a big house to heat up so any way to save a few bucks would be awesome.
If its too much of a bother ill do more research but as it stands its still a bit confusing.
Thanks bro :)

Those plants arent even real!! When you gonna stop jerkin us around and start growing some actual plants instead of showing those plastic fake ass things?!?!
Come on curso...quit fukin with us!!!:adore::bravo:

Damn...You busted me...lmao

Anyone's plants can look the same, just takes a little bit of practice and some patience (I'm still learning the 2nd part) and taking good care of your soil. Your soil will reward you in return. Especially if you don't have a full kit running. Feed that extra sitting there, you'll be happy you did later. I didn't add any tea or anything like that, just added like 2qt of water.

GLR doesn't really have an "effect" on High Brix. It's merely a way to manipulate hormones in the plant while saving electricity.

I haven't done it yet. Those that do don't report any problems. Curso's plants look OK.
He does it.
I think ill just stick with what im doing until i get a hang of it :).
Thanks though gentlemen :)

My lil ladies look like theyre reaching out to choke the light lol. Ive gone ahead and went to 75% on that 400w mh. Theyre loving it!!! Although because of the climate here im constantly tweaking my enviornment. Lots of work that im sure will pay off :)

Yeah man playing with the environment is fun and the more difficult thing to really nail. It takes a little while to get it how you really want it. Honestly when I started this grow I wanted to go with LED but really didnt want to come off a grand a panel. So as the grow progressed so did my environment. The LED was the best move I could have made for my small area. It stays a perfect temp. with loads of light and its cheap to run. This Mars II is double what I had in there for less loot. I don't use a cell phone from 1990, why light my plants with the same technology..lol

I just thought of an analogy that is fitting to how I treat my soil. Have any of you ever made a Sour Dough bread? If so you know what a sour starter is. I feed my soil like that. I keep it active and alive while its being prepared for use. You have to feed a starter water, yeast and sugar and allow it to "sour" that's the flavor ;). Soil needs moisture friendlies and organic matter. Both need 2 things...Time and heat. I've kept starters alive for months, I treat my soil the same way.
