Or any date that works for you. Have you cloned yet? I just started myself. A few months in and I'm pretty confident in my ability to get a clone to harvest. I even topped the three I have going in veg now. That was scary for me. I didn't want to stop them from growing or maybe make them hermie.

My buddy asked me the exact same thing and just because I am so interested in growing many different strains in the beginning to find one that works for me, I have not had a chance to clone yet. That being said, my buddy is pretty proficient at it and has offered me as many as I want, whenever I want LOL. Also, as selfish as it sounds..... I would have to take what he is offering and I've already got Bubba Kush growing.
So how did you do it at first, did you use clonex Etc or did you go straight to water?

I would cut the clone put straight to water while I cut the rest. When I was ready I then take from water trim up dip in a clone jell and stick in rockwool. I was able to find two humidity domes for 12 bucks. The clone jell only a few bucks. I had the rock cubes. It was all coming to be cheaper than buying seeds. Pretty happy with the results. I still buy seeds as you know. I love trying different ones.

Those little leaves are wicked. I have the same on 9ne of my hash plants......a leaf that got messed up as I became impatient and pulled of her shell casing. You've got the " GREEN thumb" Shop......no worries on your end, lol. So what's her name?

Thanks for the compliment. Her name is Merida. My girl is going with a Disney theme for now. Not sure who Merida is though. But I will keep her around. She seems to have some kind of movement going on.

It's Friday and the ending of anther week, but mostly its the end of week 4 for the ladies. I have topped before but first time topping the whole grow. I like how it helps bush them out and kinda even out the canopy. I move my plants from the veg area to flower. Any lst-ing I will do in there.
Your girls look so healthy! The leaves have a nice color and almost a waxy shine to them. Because I train them so hard I usually don't top a 2nd time but have thought of just using topping to train plants and see how they turn out instead of tying them down. Maybe in the future when I go back into experiment mode. I like to keep them low and wide. Great job on them so far!

Thanks. Coming from you means a lot. I just wanted to get a few real good grows well I felt I hand a good handle on things, before I started topping and bending branches. It adds a whole new excited time.

By topping as a way of training, would you not be removing all of the growth that you were trying to encourage by topping in the first place.....just a thought? Trying to get my head around that.....Agreed though Shop, all your girls are looking fantastic! Merida stands a chance in the Shop!

I have to admit, I have a really hard time keeping my hands off the girls. Topping, training, LST......you gotta do it Shop, take the plunge on a Friday night and start pinning the girls down, lol....

It seems this journal has turned into more than my WW. Not sure if I want to switch to a more permanent journal but till then here is another little mini side segment of the grow room.
The room has grown by two White cookies and one 300w led.
The left side is WW the top right is sour d clones just waiting a couple weeks for room in the flower side before I move them.

Haha Merida I think will be just fine. I feel the sacrifice of that top to get multiple tops and a even canopy is worth it. At least that is what I am seeing in my flower side. I have a side by side going. You can see in a few post back a even canopy and in the back ground a tall main cola. Deff liked the topped better.
