I say with so many other seed suppliers out there why bother taking a chance right? Just buy your seeds elsewhere and not have to worry.

absolutely agreed!! people should base their opinion on their own experience and not somebody elses!

I recently had a great experience with ordering, receiving and CKS respecting their guarantee and I sent proof of some seeds that didndt germinate and they replaced them at no cost. VERY friendly customer service, I will definitely buy from them again! thank you CKS and keep up the great work and service!

I realize that some people have had good experiences spending their money at CKS. I'm just trying to resolve one experience that wasn't good. I'm really not going to get excited about the great changes at CKS quite yet. The place just changed hands a couple days ago. 420 asked them to come and talk to us. They showed up in a different thread with a quick general 'sorry' statement, which is good yes :thumb: now disappeared again. Keeping an open mind though. Maybe they'll reappear on the forum again soooner rather than later.
 
Maybe they acknowledged the Poor service because the posts here hit them where it hurts..In the pocketbook..

As for me, I will continue to buy from the seedbanks that have served me well. I am a loyal customer until a vendor does me wrong..There is simply no excuse for some of the nastygrams sent to our members..Maybe someone higher up at CKS should check emails, for content, before they insult a customer..SEEYA!

hey buzzer, sorry if I understood this incorrectly but your comment "There is simply no excuse for some of the nastygrams sent to our members" means that you are not happy with CKS because of how they apparently sent nastygrams to members". If this is the reason why you don't like CKS I think that's ridiculous. As you said, you should continue being a loyal customer until they do you wrong. Sounds to me like they haven't done you personally wrong in this case.

as for weasel, I get your frustration. I truly believe they have turned around and id say give them time to turn it around. It wont take a day or two or three. They are trying to fix issues they inherited.

I am more then happy with them because the service I received from them could NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!

Nope...I got Zero seeds from CKS and sent them my $$....Only sent one email which went un-answered..Never got a NastyGram myself, since I was quite passive about my small loss..
 
even if its a small loss, why not give them a call about it instead of just sending the 1 email? the email may have been lost or whatever.

anyways, im not trying to stick up for them. just trying to say lets try and be reasonable because we make serious accusations and jump on the bandwagon. yes you definitely have a legitimate point if you made a purchase and didn't receive your product. I would give them another shout and im sure they will help you bro.

Will just keep it as an unpleasant reminder of the risks we all take..I never received an empty pkg, with a note from Customs either..not that means anything though..Could have been much worse if I had placed a sizable order..That is one reason that I never order anything over $100usd from any seedbank..The risks are always there..I pay a bit more for small shipments (shipping charges) and my freebies suffer too..No problem with either ..Thanx again..Buzzer Out...:)
 
This thread is basically a hole in the bottom of their pocketbook. And it's only a small hole. But I can see it growing, much as this thread will. Customer service is being paid by the company anyway, so basically to come and apologize for the old regime and sending out free ten packs to people who didn't get their order wouldn't hurt all that much. And shit, not for nothing, how costly would it be to show good faith? To remove or retract a flagrant post from the forums trying to discredit someone for sticking up for themselves after being jipped? That's free in my book, and it would say a lot about the nature of the new owners to do so. Don't you think? It's starting to get away from the issues at hand y'all are talking about your good experiences with the company. That's great! Why wouldn't you be happy with them? I would be too. But if I was one of the guys that just lives to cultivate and got jipped out of my hard earned money over seeds that never came that may not have even been viable...... come on! Put yourselves in the shoes of the little guys, not the massive for profit company that is taking advantage of our brothers.

I had the same experience with their Blue Berry seeds..... only 4 of 8 germed, and only one of those look respectable.
We won't talk about the warranty conversation:tokin:

I bought a 5 pack of jack herer autos 1-5 germed. Ended up with a 10 inch jack herer beside my 6 (non CKS) giants. I was disappointed but the icing on the cake was the was the warranty convo for sure
 
Will it "hurt them to say "f*** you, order somewhere else"? Uh yeah, they did that to me when I was asking why the CBD Auto Cheese was giving me 3 distinctly different pheno's (1 a total runt that has since been yanked)...I was told if I didn't like it I could order somewhere else (her name was Lisa). Well I did order somewhere else, Third Eye Blind seeds from Colorado, 2 day shipping, got 15 beans of 3 different strains for the same price I paid CKS for 5 beans of the auto cheese CBD's. And I'm sure, from what I've read lately, tons of other people are ordering elsewhere.
Of course they didn't go out of their way, and they can't always foresee that someone they employee is having a shitty day. It's just that these words are here and they will be read. That can easily make good for certain mistakes they are a massive entity and it won't hurt their bottom line to say sorry you had a bad experience, but we strive to make our Customers happy. So here's the rest of the order you paid for... It's not the cost of doing business, but the cost of doing good business. Will it hurt them to say fuck you order elsewhere? Probably not a whole lot... but It could.... and it has. I'm prob not the only one but I was planning to order from cks a month ago....

Come on CKS y'all can do it! We have faith in you as a company and 420 Magazine sponsor and I havent really had much contact with mr weaselcracker but it's the nature of a community to back each other. That's all, really.

Considering I had no connections or local resources getting these beans (in the US) was an important starting point. Both orders were received within 10 business days. Some companies were charging extra for "stealth shipping" which I found annoying because I expected the shipper to actually try to get it to the customer in the first place. CKS was my first bean buy and I was pleased. Don't have any experience with the rest (yet) but I keep my ears and eyes open. But today, here is my generic CKS Northern Light Auto Day 85 from seed:
