Ok with a one vote ill take the leadership. Anybody like to talk about their seed collection habits or "to many plants cant be enough syndrome"? Maybe Some "I MUST SUPERCROP" tingeling feeling?

Everyone is welcome to join(and Its a lot better then sitting here alone all day with the empty chairs surrounding me)

Nearly split myself in half on an icy patch of pavement (sidewalk) about ten minutes ago. Voice is a little bit higher but never knew I was so flexible ;)

Yeah I can barely go a quarter way down before I'm squealing like micheal Jackson when he grabs his no no place and screams

The plants shown are the top left and bottom right. I think I've achieved the best result with these (possibly a four split on the bottom right and a three on the top left) the rest (including the little'un. Ended up getting him on Monday. Don't know why just got a feeling and went for it. Seems to have done the trick and made him bulk up a bit)

I damaged some of the leaves during the GTF session (Got the F*****, it's more positive than FIM) and some of the cabbagy growth associated with the aftermath of GTF/FIMing.

But.....

Didn't like how dry my soil was, seemed to be quite boggy after watering and wasn't sure if the cabbagy growth was to with the roots being suffocated. Checked the run off and was happy with the outflow, both time coming out and ph level.

I had a poke about the soil with some kebab skewers, couldn't help myself even though the run off was good. It's the first time I've used this soil (again the fellow from the Netherlands and his almost neurotic insistence that I use what I'm using. I'll admit I've never paid attention to the soil in the way most do.)

Have to take my hat off to him and will slip him a doob next time I see him, the garden is going better than I've experienced before.

Honestly never had problems with normal bags of 'safe' soil from the local garden centres. Saves a trip to the dreaded grow shop and tbh I've never had problems (except for fungus gnats but think that was my watering practices). Think I need to chill and trust the Dutchman.

I don't like the way the soil bunches up when sprayed and I think it's too early for a watering can. The soil hasn't been too dry or too wet, everything is looking as well as can be hoped up top so underneath is hopefully following suit (should be)

The puppy gave me the brainwave. She bit a water bottle I'd left on the coffee table, I'd assumed I'd knocked it off, took a drink and ended up a with a hydrating spray of water (and probably dog germs) around my face.

I got a fresh bottle out, went for a knife with a needle like point (couldn't find a needle) and slowly turned out a few holes in line with a marker I'd made on the bottle so I knew where the spray would be going.

My little hand held sprayer helps me cover the top soil with a continual (the water will run out eventually, I haven't got a magic bottle) and even spray that's not as harsh or messy as the spray from the atomiser, nor as tedious and less efficient/efficaciously as the syringe feeding I was doing.

The bubbas are still on plain ph'd water with the ever present dose of Canna Rhizotonic. I keep using this all the way up until the flush, adding the flowering additive Canna Boost from day one of the flip yet keeping the bubbas on the same veg diet for two weeks. Have found that making a sudden switch (even diluted) to the flowering based nutes opened up problems with leaf yellowing up top and bellow.

Will be back with another update soon guys. Hope you are all well :)

Looking very nice! I am going to predict some bushy beasts in a few weeks!

Cheers buddy, I'm wondering whether to FIM again, I know I'm going to have to repot before the flip. I'd rather have more natural plants for as long as I can as I defoliate and lollipop during the flowering stage.

I've never got the potency results I've got in other gardens by using LST. I'm not knocking it, it just doesn't suit my tactics.

Don't know how long I'll leave these in veg for. I like my buds to be held up not pinned down, but if these get taller then I think the flip will come early. I know I'm sacrificing yield but can hopefully get the potency again.

Any suggestions? To FIM or not to FIM? I usually go twice but haven't had plants do as well as they're doing so it's new territory :)

I guess it depends on how much space you have and how long you want to wait til harvest! I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination I'm only on my second grow so lol.. Personally, my current grow has been a bit crowded and has some pretty smallish colas, so I am thinking of no scrog just a few big colas, more natural too next time..
I hear ya on the potency, I just grow for myself and can always grow more so let's make it gooood!

I've pondered and thought that I've made a plan, I'm going to stick with it. Should these get too big in veg then I'll wait and watch for when I think it's flip time. I think the time schedule I had for these is a bit off so it's all intuition and gut feelings from here.

Natural as possible is the way to go. I've never let a plant grow without snipping or clipping something. Would like to see how it would come out

I grew an outdoor bagseed a few years ago, don't even count it as a grow lol Some potting soil with worm castings and plain water in a 5 gallon bucket in the woods. She was 6feet tall looked like a Christmas tree and definitely all natural, didn't get much help from me! Might have been half an ounce but it was a really racy sativa, kinda fun.. Had to move it indoors by a window to finish for the last few weeks it was getting frosty outside. Wish I could find a pic of her!

Looking good bro, they've grown tonnes in a short time! How long do you veg for?

That is always hard to decide.. I have one plant that I fimmed at several points, Now I have a small feeling it might have been to much... and now I got a lot of brenches but I dont know How big the cola's Will become :p

Anyway give them Some time after Fim before you repot...

Yo brother, glad to see you've survived the cold ;)

I'll be honest mate, where the gardens are of the clandestine variety it depends. Last one needed to be done quick (landlord would be coming to inspect our moving out process nearly to the day the garden came down) so that was 5 weeks in veg.

Would ideally do 6-7 weeks. But I've not had the results I've had in this garden at this stage. Think 5 and a half (will be doing a spot check every hour or so in the run up to make sure) but will see how it goes.

A f*** up somewhere else has seen this become a somewhat important grow. Will be diverting from the plan I had intended to go with (FIM twice and leave to go natural until a lollipop and defoliation session at the beginning of flowering)

Need quantity now rather than quality. I'm going to try and mould FIM/LST with the stress tactics that I hope induce THC release. I'm expecting a slightly better yield and a slightly less potent plant but not so much so that i end up with more s*** weed than I know what to do with.

Thank you N.S, I hope you are well mate :)

I've got a three to four week window before I flip to 12/12 so think I will FIM halfway between it. I hope this should be enough time, I usually repot the day before the switch so think I might be ok.

Have started LST today. Not something I'm happy doing tbh. I feel like I'm interfering too much and due to my lack of using it regularly (last four gardens have been replicas of each other and have produced DANK) feel like I've made a f*** up.

I'm not good with change so let's hope it's a good one ;)

I've grown up gardening so plant training isn't anything new to me. Runner beans and grape vines in the garden don't carry the same financial strain our beloved bud does so maybe that's why ;)
