Critical Kush Guerrilla Garden

Yo brother, glad to see you've survived the cold ;)

I'll be honest mate, where the gardens are of the clandestine variety it depends. Last one needed to be done quick (landlord would be coming to inspect our moving out process nearly to the day the garden came down) so that was 5 weeks in veg.

Would ideally do 6-7 weeks. But I've not had the results I've had in this garden at this stage. Think 5 and a half (will be doing a spot check every hour or so in the run up to make sure) but will see how it goes.

A f*** up somewhere else has seen this become a somewhat important grow. Will be diverting from the plan I had intended to go with (FIM twice and leave to go natural until a lollipop and defoliation session at the beginning of flowering)

Need quantity now rather than quality. I'm going to try and mould FIM/LST with the stress tactics that I hope induce THC release. I'm expecting a slightly better yield and a slightly less potent plant but not so much so that i end up with more s*** weed than I know what to do with.

Thank you N.S, I hope you are well mate :)

I've got a three to four week window before I flip to 12/12 so think I will FIM halfway between it. I hope this should be enough time, I usually repot the day before the switch so think I might be ok.

Have started LST today. Not something I'm happy doing tbh. I feel like I'm interfering too much and due to my lack of using it regularly (last four gardens have been replicas of each other and have produced DANK) feel like I've made a f*** up.

I'm not good with change so let's hope it's a good one ;)

I've grown up gardening so plant training isn't anything new to me. Runner beans and grape vines in the garden don't carry the same financial strain our beloved bud does so maybe that's why ;)

Sounds like a good plan bro. I'm not sure what weed goes for here these days (haven't bought any in like 8-years lol) I'd imagine tho the price has gone up rather than down like with everything else!

So I get the need for quantity. The LST training should improve your yield mate, everything says so. I'm sure it will help. Have faith lol

I've done a tonne of training with my plants which I'm hoping will equal more bud .

Looking awesome! I know that insecure feeling something might have been Done wrong. Dont worry then can handle something :p I am the living prove of that .

Looking at the scedule I would fim after one week, repot after Two and give them a week to settle down. Repot 24 hours before Flip sounds stressy to me. Or is This a tactic to? Not Sure just sounded cruel xD

Take care Bud. I am ok. Bad day with the back, but ill be allright..

You'd s*** yourself my fellow Narnian. 8 years is a long time...

I'm not that used to LST, I've done it a couple of times on shared grows at the insistence of others (we were young and knew it all, as nearly all of us here did too) We called it bending (suppose that made us benders ;)) and with the little knowledge we had, was a mixture of supercropping (without the proper method) and LST (a really s*** version)

We literally bent the plant over as much as it would take (not much) during flowering.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Thank you N.S, I was thinking the same thing but it's new territory and a whole load of new terrors with it ;)

It is a tactic (can't explain the science, has just worked well in the past) with the repot before the flip. I do that, miss a schedule of sunlight and then start the 12/12. I am cruel towards the bubbas at the end N.S, I will warn you now ;)

So this was last night. The sort of garden I'm used to.

24 hours later it's turned into this.

I think I'm doing alright with the LST. I've read untolds and have used similar practices in a normal garden. But if you see anything wrong please give me a shout!

Haha Narnia is a freaking expensive place to be these days! Back in the day it wasn't all that expensive. I haven't smoked in a long time as went cold Turkey. Had a bit of a Charlie habit so gave it all up.

Forgot tho how much weed used to help me relax and sleep that's when I decided to grow as I then know exactly what I'm using.

... benders! LST can be as simple or as complex as you make it. The simple theory being to supply the stems lower down with more light, thus equalling more bud+more colas rather than just a main cola, you get multiple main colas.

One of mine I have bent into a spiral and I didn't top her or anything else.

The other I bent slightly as your doing to yours now, and I topped her.

So it will be interesting to see what yields the most.

The key to LST is to start as early in veg as possible as it's far less stressful for the plant. Infact as seedlings there unlikely to experience any stress if done gradually like your doing.

You then avoid any stunted growth etc

Few pics of the one I trained into a spiral, every time she grew another inch I would move the string further forward and hold her back down again gradually curving her sideways at the same time. So she grew into it, no supercropping involved

Cheers mate that was very helpful. Pictures helped a lot and will come in handy.

The devil's dandruff and lettuce go hand in hand. Well done for breaking it brother

I think I'm going for the curling effect. I know I haven't prepared it properly but hopefully will get good results. I'm going to crack on with my same tactics, theoretically the two should suit each other hopefully

No worries bro, although I'm sure you'll do great if you want anymore pics just let me know.

Oh yes and the devil it was, but thankfully managed to move on from it. Good job too as it's not like our aspie brains need anything extra to stimulate them lol

Looking forward to seeing your girls progress .

Haha life is full of swings and roundabouts. I hope the butter helps :)

Me and my pal made some last year. I had it on every meal for about four days (as did he)

I started tripping out when I was walking the dog (red triangles and blue squares...don't know how I knew but they were menacing). I phoned my pal and said I felt like I was tripping.

He'd also been having butter on anything butter could cling to. When I called him he hung the phone up and stayed up all night at the window convinced I was coming to get him (he thought that I thought that he'd poisoned me with the butter on purpose)

I'm sure your butter will help you out ;)

Don't know about tagging KJ will YouTube it then you've got my vote buddy ;)

Click on the link above it's a video walk through how to vote bro

I don't know if it's necessary or not but I find it helpful to put a tie just at soil level running the opposite direction to the tie holding the top down. Seems to bend the stalk better without pulling sideways down under the surface.

Thank you mate, I was looking at one pot thinking that's being pulled and not bent. I said you've got my vote, you can stop now ;)

I'm joking brother, it's all love. Thank you very much mate, just went into night time so will get on it first thing in the morning
