No crosses. I'm just making some S1 fems of this 501st OG. I had 2 beans and one died. The one that cracked is a fantastic pheno that shines in a number of ways, so I wanted to preserve it. At some point, I may cross it with something, but really enjoyed it as is.
 
Just wondering if this is what I shud be looking for the little ball like area under my finger and at the tip of the paperclip just wondering if this is what it will look like wen it starts to make male parts or am I wrong??

Hey all, I'm about a week to 2 weeks away from my next seed project... most likely going to take the trainwreck and hit it with CS and make fem S1's of Trainwreck, plus pollen chuck across all 8 other cultivars in my tent :) will update my journal when its ready to start! Just wanted to drop in and say hello to the pollen chucking nation!

Hellos seed peeps.

Got time for a question? I am still not doing fems, mostly cause I am a lazy chicken trying to be a Tennessean lamb.

So, I have a Triple Purple Rhino Male at about 8 weeks old and a younger Triple Purple Rhino Female at about 4 weeks old just showing pistol and now flipped to 11/13 growing next to each other in the same container. I do not mind regs seeds. So off i go, open pollination.

The question or help my recollection, the female should be at least 2 weeks into flower for proper pollination. Right? prety sure the male is dropping pollen now and will burst into full male induced masterOfbation in the next 3-4 weeks. I will remove it at some point. I dont need it taking nute from the soil after it has done is duty.

So the main question, How old should the female be into flower? 3 week good enough? then the male is history or Canna I do it earlier and still get viable seed?

Is there a seed that looks like Canna but isnt?

Story time then the pictures of the seed.

So for my wife's birthday and Jerry Garcia's birthday, we decided to go out for a meal and see 2 Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia band cover bands, one a national touring band with local ties and the other a local band as an opening act, both of which we have see before.

In any event this is about the Meal. We go to a Japanese restaurant, a higher end place with a very small menu. Kind of a treat we do about 2 to 3 times a year. I get a miso salmon and the wife gets skewers of chicken and steak. we also share a app of broccoli and a seafood sunomono.

So stay with me. On one of the plates next to some dry spice i see a seed. Now I know a Canna seed. So i am like what the what. And So i grabz it. remember canna is 'legal' but not 'commercial' where I live.

could it be straight hemp, is my first thought. Not that it matters just a magical appearance on a wonderful night.

The food was wonderful and the bands where great, the main act did a recreation of a 1991 Jerry Garcia band show, Grate fun was had.

I've found hemp seeds in bird feed before so it wouldn't really surprise me to see it in food.

So I missed the general consensus, but so you wanna start a reversal plant in 12/12 about a week before plants you want to pollinate with it?

I've got some Panama x Malawi that I want to do an open-pollination S1 crop with. It seems pretty stabilized so I think I'm pretty comfortable just doing an open pollination with it.

I have some Blackberry Kush feminized pollen in the freezer too... Not sure how long it will stay good because I don't have any desiccant in there. I'm waiting for my open-air pollinated S1 seeds to come out, then I think I'll grow those and pollinate them with the feminized pollen. It will stabilize it out a bit and give me more seeds of it. I feel like that would be a better use than trying to make some whacky cross.

Lots of breeding possibilities with CS :D
 
Hey guys this is my red poison auto tht I am using cs to reverse n its startn to make buds and stuff they r just super super small lol bout how long does it take to start seeing changes other then jus small buds haha here she is as of two days ago I believe

also I was wondering if I make up a batch of colloidal silver spray will the rest be ok to sit in sprayer till nex day and spray again or shud I only be making enuf for what I'm guna use right then and there I have it in alil plastic sprayer that I taped up so it stays dark and then the left over I put into a glass container tht is dark brown so no light gets in to either container and I mix the cs with distilled water so jus wondering if I shud up the ppm or a.m. I good where I'm at an jus need to be patient n wait since I dont know what to look for really this being my first time doing this I thinks that's why I'm so impatient lol
 
Hello again all! So I am on day 79 of the 60 day strain Purple Express Auto. I officially have seeds! I hadn't thought to look until I realized the strain was supposedly 60 days seed to harvest. I pulled some off the bottom of the plant and this is what they look like...

Looks like there will be hundreds of seeds! I think I'm just going to try to germ these and see what happens. I guess if they germ she is ready to be harvested? Is it possible to let these go too long? Would the ones near the top be better looking/more mature? Any help is appreciated, thanks all!
 
Hey bro congrats hey did u use cs to reverse the auto u used to pollinate tht one if so how long did u have to spray her for b4 u started seeing a change??
 
Thanks Blazin! She sprouted 5/20. I started spraying 1 of her branches on 6/13 and stopped on 7/11. I saw changes around the second week of spraying, I think. It may have been closer to the end of the 3rd week, but by the end of June, I know there were some changes on the branch I was spraying. After that the female flowers and pollen pods formed. Once the pods formed on the one branch and buds had matured a bit I sprinkled mature pollen sacs across the white hairs. I haven't kept the greatest records or done a journal for this grow. It was my first attempt with cs. How far along was your little auto lady when you started spraying her? Are you just going to collect the pollen or are you trying to get her to self pollinate?
 
I think 2 years may be too long a shelf life on the store bought Colloidal Silver. In the past I successfully used it several times but a month ago I used it on 3 clones and it did not produce any male sacs that I can see, plus they are all flowering like crazy. For the record, I sprayed it once a day beginning 2 days before 12/12 and 10 days after. The good news is that all 3 should have a nice harvest, the bad news is that they should probably only be used for oil or edibles so this might be a good time to try out the "new to me" fresh harvest infused oil. Waste not - want not.

So far this is the only one I've found on the whole plant n I've been spraying the whole plant so what I'm wondering is is should I quit spraying cs now or shud I keep going since there is only one I did do a treatment of cs spraying today how ever but shud I stop now or keep doing it for a few more days or till I see more banana things showing up?? Any and all help is greatly appreciated :thanks: every1 for helpn me get this far :Namaste:
 
Hmm looks like a nanner to me. I don't have much experience but I would probably keep spraying. I figure someone else will chime in with better info. Sorry I couldn't help more!
 
July 19th I started cs treatments on my red poison auto and she sprouted above ground on June 28th so she was like 21 or 22 days old roughly and started to show lil bud sites for about 2r3 days b4 I was able 2 get some disstilled water and make the dilluted cs spray and now as for collecting or self pollinating well it depends if she makes enuf I was hoping to do both but if not enuf then I will collect it first and get some to make crosses with one or 2 of my photo girls I got some black dominas I would like to cross and my Kali mist Also but one thing is I dnt know how long it takes to dry out pollen and how long does it last so that will have a big part to play in all of it to cause I have a Kali mist I jus put into flower a day ago so I think tht might time up perfect to do some lower branches n get some seeds of the red poison and Kali mist cross that way. I also have a black domina cutting in my cloner box that I'm hoping will be done and ready in time and get established alil bit in the veg tent then guna throw in2 flower tent in hopes of being ready for the red poison auto cause that is the one I'm most excited about is tht cross the domina and poison lol I'm like a lil kid in a candy store tryn to pick what strains I wana cross with what if this don't work out tho I no I got like one or 2 more rpa seeds tht I will be doing then to try and make straight rpa. seeds jus so I can save the genetics also dwn the line will be doing a dark devil auto seed run then tryn to make some cross strains with tht 1 as well but Thts dwn the line right nw working with the rpa and man does that one have an amazing look and smell like berries and jet fuel its simply great lol
 
Yeah I think that is about how long I sprayed mine. I'm interested to see how it goes Blazin. Looks like you have pretty decent little buds formed. I guess the nanner is the start and the nanners will pollinate the buds that are forming? Does she have pistils that look receptive? I couldn't really see any that were white and sticking out. I noticed seedsman says it is ready for harvest 8 weeks after germination. That would put harvest time around the 23rd of this month. I hope she is able to throw some pollen out and have enough time to make seeds and extra for you to collect. Should be interesting to see what she does!
 
Ok I went n looked an she has a bunch of white pistals on the bottom buds but they are super tiny things but she has a bunch of half white kinda off white ones so idk if they will last long enuf but hopefully I at least get some pollen from her. question the buds that u spray with colloidal silver I know aren't any good to smoke but are they still good enuf to use to make rso or any concentrates??

seeds that are allowed to ripen to maturity do better overall....
