I would say to late to spray your plants. From the little I know about predator mites they take a few weeks to be effective, so I think too late for you too. The cold will keep spider mites from reproducing real fast too. I would just keep eye on them, look underneath the leaves with 30 X mag. Are there a lot of eggs too? If not I bet you be fine.
You were 100% right, I think the cold got to the mites. I can't find any now. I am super relieved. Good to know the predators take a while to fight the good fight.
I was thinking the same exact thing as B.real wouldn't clawing be the first sign of too much N? That and very dark green? I can't remember where I read it, but I swear somebody said not to combine those two soils for some reason. I did find FFOF to be hot early in my grow. Maybe the info was in one of DocBud's threads. I would shoot him a PM with a pic of the leaves and a link to the journal in the email, and see what he thinks. It may have been him that mentioned that the combo was quite hot. I wish I could be more help.
