Sunny...welcome back again. almost 11 hours sunrise to sunset today...awesome to finally wake up to light. Lake Michigan slushy on a drive by today. Great walk in the woods today but snow over my boots. View out back tonight. I expect some fuzzy bits up top by the end of next week. The CMXL is a champ as a back up plan...glad I found some from Grow #3...FAST and GREAT. And a flashback shot to my favorite night time relief.

Wow awesome. :thumb:

Sunday first LST...watered and fed today, last water 8 days ago. The tap roots are established. Pots mostly light. The CMXL Auto back up got the first deep feed and water with the others. I added another handful of mosquito bits pre water for F Gnats...done and done. Dropped light to 24”...growth is robust on organic nutes. Watching these autos grow daily at this point.

Beautiful garden my friend. I found if I let leaves lay on top of soil or whatever medium I was using i got necrosis of the leaves. Just 2c :Namaste:

Bill284...yep...those first leaves will get ugly...but they will be fine. It’s the next set of fans that will fuel these girls. I’m guessing they will get to be paper plate size soon.
Great :thumb: they look realy healthy.

Day 21, end of week 3 from sprout for the Original Glue Autos. Last water/feed 4 days ago...will probably water/feed once a week until bigger, then about every 5-6 days. First noticeable odor today when I opened the cabinet. No sigh of pistils yet...likely late next week. I did another round of LST today...side branches took fight off after bending the un-topped mains. Even the CMXL Auto back up got its first light bend today at 2 weeks old. Temps steady at 68-82F and RH 33-53. Pics are from today, before and after more LST. Thanks for checking out my grow.

Bill284, yes they love the organic veg food. I also added 1 tsp. Unsulfered molasses to each gallon last water/feed and will probably do the same in about 5 weeks. I halved nutes this grow and see the slightest tip burn...I will reduce just a bit next water/feed. Thanks for stopping by...just updated end of week 3 today.

Mid week 4. Water and feed today...last 7 days ago. Very low maintenance organic soil grow. More LST today...bending before the silica firms up all the branches. Plants are typical to my style...compact and bushing. First preflowers showing today, evident on the back up younger CMXL. Canopy building....looking like about 8 bud sites forming on each. I can see a few leaves low I’ve splashed and will get a bit ugly...oh well. Budswel will be added next water/feed until harvest now that pistils are starting. Plants are getting stinky at a bit over 3 weeks from sprout...will test my filter. All good so far.

Yesterday was Day 28, end of week 4 from sprout for the Original Glue Autos. More LST today. I have some twisting leaves on the new tip growth. It’s not nute burn, no issues this grow using half strength nutes. I suspect wind or light burn...raised light a bit and diverted the lower fan. I also had some fan leaves on one plant with discoloration. I added a picture of those leaves after chopping off all that were bad. It may impact bud yields. It looks like nute splash damage, but I’m not that sloppy when I water. Maybe a boron deficiency? I will read up on light burn and wind burn for the tip growth and deficiencies for the ugly fans. Plants are all showing pistils since last week, even the CMXL Auto back up started one week later. Next water feed in a couple days I will stay with organic veg food, but will add Budswel now that flowers are starting. Pics are from today after LST and the major trim on one plant.

Today is Day 35, end of week 5 from sprout for the Original Glue Autos. Plants are stretching and flowers are building. I ended up with a fairly even canopy with a lot of bud sites. Just the LST’d mains are reaching higher. I did a trial to see how PH changes over time on my well tap water. It started at 7.8, one hour later it climbed to 8.3. I typically target 6.5 PH with nutes. My last water/feed I dropped PH to 6.2, assuming it would climb over time to 6.7 or higher. The issue I saw on the one Glue plant, possibly a deficiency, did not continue to spread and absorption of certain micro nutrients may have improved starting with a lower base PH in organic soil. Should have another 5 weeks to finish. Despite feeding veg nutes Biocanna Biovega at half strength I see some tip burn. I am now adding Budswel organic guano in addition to veg nutes. Once stretch is over I will switch to flower nutes Biocanna Bioflores and will double up on Budswel to 2 Tbsp. per gallon. Comparing CMXL Auto grows, the extra Budswel made the buds frostier and the fruity smell more distinct than skunky.

Don’t be surprised if they go 12 weeks. I’m growing the same thing and I’m at week 10 now with good sized colas but my pistals haven’t started turning brown yet and trichomes are all clear so I’m thinking at least 2 more weeks. I’ve had all kinds of problems with my gorilla glue auto plant in this grow. I never was able to remedy the rust spots on mine and it seemed like I had one deficiency and then another and another when that plant was fed the exact same thing as the rest of my plants and none of the rest of them are acting like the gorilla glue. This is my first attempt and probably my last at growing gorilla glue’s!

Hello my friend i hope you are well. Your girls are beautiful.
However they are in full fledged flower mode and should be fed flowering nutrients according to your chart from nutrient company.
Also just wondering why your ph,ing your water. Unless I missed something your in soil which does not require the water to be adjusted.
Also you said you burnt your tips at 1/4 strength nutrients. Don't fret about burnt tips. Keep going. There is no way your going to max out your potential pull if you feed 1/4 anything. Girls that big i would try and push to 1800 ppm thats in coco. See my girls burnt tips and beautiful buds.
Try and get on that schedule, your girls will reward you

I'm at week 11 with gg autos. Trichomes cloudy and clear no amber pistols starting to turn. 1st plant pictured is 5 days older

RetiredRN, Thanks so much for the feedback. My plants are Nirvana Original Glue Autos...same for your glue autos? The rust was on one plant and hasn't progressed since I trimmed out the bad mid fan leaves. This is my 5th grow and I don’t sweat much as long as the buds stay nice.

Bill284, Agreed, burnt tips not a problem. I am feeding at half strength veg nutes. Regarding PHing my well tap water, it starts at 7.9 up to 8.3 depending on the day. I have routinely adjusted PH to 6.5 and now 6.2 since my first grow. I’ve heard from many purchased soil is buffered and doesn’t need to be adjusted. My organic flower nutes take it down to about 6.5 anyway. Our well water tastes great (I’m sitting on a wooded ancient sand dune across the road from Lake Michigan) and does have a fair amount of minerals. I will switch over to full flower nutes next water this weekend, but wanted to maximize stretch first.
