Nope ! I have not tried cotton candy kush, but factoring in my dab press addiction ( haha) I 'm going to give it a whirl ! Can't hurt much if I'm strategic I recon .

DO you wait 2 months as recommended @KCCO 77 ? Or is that timeframe more for slower soil bound moms ? I feel this is a short , fast growing strain so I kind of want to decide . I'm staying 100% legal so what's the harm 3 cuts could do eh ?

Hey my moms r old but I have taken cuts off plants that were very young with no problems. Better to have and not need then need and not have.

They should bounce back. Most cuts go a little limp after cutting for a few hrs. You may want to get those cubes out of the water or the stem may rot.

Well I medicated , and then I thought one looked too tall so I cut off her bottom node and stuck it in the block. I laughed so hard at myself that I took a pic and left it for all of you to make fun of me .

Gunna head down and play for a bit
Im curious if that cut rots or grows. Just may leave it to see.

Fimming is like a rats nest .. tie her up in eh morning and then readjust in the pm trio nutes with Cali mag for breakfast . Zero ph buffer.. still hoping she identifies as female !!

She looks gastly with 6 lines on her but it’s incredible how I can’t even find the lines when she fills by the morning !
Since her feed this morning she has levelled herself out @ 5.8 and will be ready for 2.5 ml of some food other than the trio tomorrow .. in addition to some z7
Silica is also my friend , may or not give her a little lube to keep bending her .
Sorry for those that don’t see the difference ..exciting times for this Amateur !

Ha ! The funny thing is I don’t know what I want her to look like! I TRULY have zero idea what I’m doing . It’s all fun and games until I break her main stem ! Hahaha

she doesn’t look like the typical quad line .. the fimming has a rats nest tower that I keep bending sideways to expose undergrowth and side shoots ( larf that most people trim off) into the open space ?
I know from past experience that the wider the better and that she will eventually upright herself so I might as well try to maximize the space right ?

Probs hard to tell from the pics . Next water change when I post pics again I’ll try to be more mindful to show the structure she is growing in .. enjoy your eve!

I noticed your temp in your res is 65 degrees my buckets are around the same temp and thought it was low and was trying to think of a way to get it up a little higher but my plants don't have roots in the bucket yet so maybe it's not an issue your plant looks quite happy so maybe it's nothing to worry about.

It will run 65-75 apparently if I'm dumb enough again hahah ..I usually like it 67/68 . Cooler the better. Less chance of rot . And it will stunt your growth if you run higher than 74 in my experience .

They are sitting on a basement floor and it's been pretty cold lately ..I anticipate the temp rising a degree or two as her root ball fills the bucket and as the cold front passes

I’m glad this training is at least keeping you interested and and as long as your gentle you won’t break her. Maximizing you space should give you a far better yield at the end of the day. Play safe and enjoy

47 days old and the leaning fimming of a rats nest ‘Babe’ got her 3 rd fresh bucket .

I woke up to 5.1 ph and decided to swap out the soup .. it’s been 2 weeks.
Weird how my fresh buckets always add up to 420 TDS.

‘Clones’ actually perked up a bit. Gave them 3 drops of bleach and ph down .. to 6.5 ish ( tap water)

My kitten , aka bug and spider hunter fell asleep in my hand updating you . ❤

Ph, tds, water level all dropping indicating to me that babe is not happy !!
Looks a little droopy too .
2 days after new juice.
So , she got a shot of Cali mag and of ph up to 5.9 and I’ll check/feed her again in the am .

‘Clones’ perked up weirdly enough .. the real estate in the tent isn’t worth anything yet and it’s tap water , with bleach, using an air line already going from a tee so if nothing else my dwc buckets are going to get sterilized . Haha

Going to wait another couple of weeks until flip.
She’s full and bushy but she has a big home to move into.
So excited.

The 5x5 same height option was literally less than $40 more and is IDEAL imho..
but
for my space , I have decided to have 2 in veg in a 2x4 , and 2 in bloom in a 4x4 . perpetual. To save on lighting costs , aesthetics, legality etc.

Keeps me busy. Distracted. Mid life crisis perhaps. But it also inspires my friend next door who needs some inspiration and positivity!
