Argyle & Bakerstreet Strain: Gov Seed From Tweed, Hydro DWC

Hey I hope all is good. The plants look great and lots of air flow is a perfect idea as well. Keep lots of air flow around them until you can get the RH down some. I don’t know if it’s the photo or not but there seems to be a lot of shade down lower. A lollipop style trim or something like that just to help with air flow when you clean them up. It may or may not work for you. Glad to see they took off great work.

Thanks ! There is some shade .you are right the one in the right I broke the main stem and have them too close-this plant has been a bitch . the one on the right Bakerstreet Still growing like sativa’s thou.. just had another local grower drop by , he was surprised with them and believes as do I that It will be tight .. weird ‘ indica ‘ plants . Anyways .. may have to lst or Scrog if this nonsense continues.. flipped almost a week and they are still stretching
First world problems
So .... lucky

Son of a motherless goat am I ever fighting humidity. It’s been pretty warm .. moved a fan from under the light to the floor .. heat rises right ? Might need to upgrade the fan(s)
Funny looking ‘indica’s’ to Me

Lmao I had to laugh at the son of a motherless goat. Sorry to hear the RH won’t come down for you. Keep the air moving in there as much as possible. Plants look great by the way.

They keep me on my toes that’s for sure .. thanks KC. :) so many variables to consider ... hoping cooler weather is on the way too, that will help fer sure . I cannot imagine leaving the tent open when they are actual buds so I better figure my life out !

Hey I hope all is well and keep up the good fight lol. If keeping the tent open try to keep them dark when lights r out. No irregular light schedules. You don’t want no Hermies lol.

I think I need a tolerance break . I’ve been fighting humidity and decided to reach out to the led light manufacture ... turns out I’m retarded.
I had closed off the room that the tent was in thinking I was being stealthy with summer drop ins (there is zero smell and no need ) and raised the humidity in the room !
Check your surroundings peeps if you cannot control your tent .. think outside the box .
I let some air back into the room and closed the tent and the humidity is slowly falling .

That is all . < facepalm>

Nice glad to c you found a work around for you situation. For me myself I use the cool basement ambient temp outside of my grows to control everything as far as temp and RH goes. Using every tool in the toolbox will make you one hell of a grower. Great job on adapting

Thanks for the encouragement KC!
I actually have it in a basement on a cold floor and I’ve never had any probs but for whatever reason I changed one variable and it affected the entire space .
I wish I could do a shoutout to the led company , but non sponsored and I think there are rules about that? The name might be in another post ;)

Ya all it takes is one small change and the environment will flip flop on you. For me I run my flower cycle at night 7pm until 7 am to cut back on electric costs. I blast fresh air in there at night from outside keeping it cooler as well as cool air that is high in RH from my basement giving me 25 or 26 ish with a RH I am alway in control of. In the day (lights out)I park a dehumidifier outside of my flower room by my air intake in the basement keeping my Rh in check when the lights r off. Everything changes with every season. Keep up the good fight being able to adapt on the fly is a huge part of being grower.

Warning .. the following pics might upset a seasoned grower .. I rushed a bucket change in both and not only over fed , but broke at least a dozen tops and stems .
I think in the future I will stick with Bushes

Hey how r things??Good I hope outside of the broken branches. The plants look like monsters and seem to be filling in nicely in the tent. Moving plants around at this stage is definitely a pain in the ass and will become harder as the become top heavy with buds. Probably my number one reason I switched to RDWC is the res being the single point of operation. I popped 8 new plants in last night and I will not look in those buckets for another 8 weeks. I killed more then a few plants in DWC buckets by having them topple over not paying attention. Long and short however you broke them we have all been there and the plants should bounce back with no problems. Sending good vibes your way enjoy

Ran and to snap a few pics for you. This is the girls today in all their glory. They were planted indoors April 1 and moved out at the end of April. They are in supersoil and have sourced their own water supply as they are in a low spot in the yard and I watered only on the day I transplanted them. The area is our old pig pen from several years ago, and they have gotten much larger than I had anticipated they would.
