Argyle & Bakerstreet Strain: Gov Seed From Tweed, Hydro DWC

Suspected light leak or she's still adjusting to light intensity increase yesterday ARGYLE ( left) ph falling ..static. Water change just completed 3 days ago.

BAKERSTREET ( right ) < edited Tds meter in bubbles >. More accurate reading now ;)

Not impressed by the plants so far in comparison with previous girls . ( PK, BI , or WW )
Damn the petioles are really long on this phenotype, they annoy the crap out of me when they are that long as they take up a lot of room. Subbed

Your plants a re very healthy and lush and have great vigour but I find that in a tent you have to keep them low with as many tops as you can fit in as most of the light really only gets to the first 12 inches or so. I have made the mistake of letting them get really tall and spent a day trimming soft crap at the bottom.

Your room needs to look like this, I have four different strains going....Garlic Cheese, Critical impact, some sort of Kush that was supposed to be an auto flower but it turned out to be a photo period! And a seriously chunky fucker! And last but not least a mystery strain that looks like a shorter sativa....grows like a Christmas tree and puffs up like nothing else in its last two weeks! This grow was a bit loose for me, I usually have them flat, for maximum light penetration and air circulation.

Hey there I’m glad to c your not giving up and don’t be discouraged at least by following it through until the end you can see exactly what your setup can do. As well as learning the do’s and don’t s along the way and this is all priceless info. Next time around you will be able to knock one out of the park. Can you squish that auto in your press??How has the press been working??

I didn’t squish it yet .. in fact I started hacking and wacking and then got distracted by company . Haha she is still in her pot . Should I cure it before a squish ? I was actually going to deal with her today so very happy you popped in @KCCO 77 :)

I have a couple of favourite strains I like to grow that get plenty of room ( indica’s) and I completely agree with you @stipulus ! Thanks for the reminder ! This was an experimental , government purchased seeds of a strain I’ve bever even smoked hahah.
100% Experiment
I will stick with Indicas for sure . They work best for my medical conditions also :)

I may know of someone who can hook a fellow Canuck up with some seeds
Lots of generosity in our beautiful country! ;). I like CKS personally. Excellent packaging , local, accurate description of strain and effect in addition to grow times etc.
I had no idea what to expect from the poorly labelled gov’t sanctioned two strains the govt sells ( now one) if at all!!
By all reports and angles .. the government getting ahold of the industry has been a disaster hahaha

Never squished rosin but probably dry for sure. Maybe not all the curing process but probably dry as moisture is often found in most extractions.

Sativa sucks! But it is good when it comes to higher temps as the come from the hotter regions of the earth. I am going have a go at starting a sativa and keep topping it the flip it when its only a few inches tall but mega bushy....then as it stretches I will pull the branches down and space them out. I think this will work well and the plant will get heaps of light. Mind you I will need to sacrifice branches to keep them spaced out.

My game plan for next spring is to germ one bean ( mom) Jan - Valentine's Day , and park 4 rooted clones from her outside end of April ish ..shouldnt be restricted by size or creed this way ? if I keep one in veg until the clones are going and then let her finish I should have plenty of space o let them go wild ! :)

Bakerstreet
At least another 2 weeks. On 10th week of flowering now .
Might get a tincture or some resin Lots of small popcorn sticky buds

Well I hacked and whacked Argyle today... in half .. not sure if she will continuing blooming , or start rotting but... if in the next few days she starts to look sad ill take the rest of the popcorn to start curing for a tincture .
May 25 into paper towel
Half Harvest Sept. 25th
No guess as to final cure weight . Sticky! Full Milky terpenes .. didn’t wait for too many Amber with this hybrid .
Hanging .. then into jars for burping .. should be nice and potent with a good cure :Rasta:

Water change for both . Let’s see what happens . Argyle is the shorty I harvested last week and cut in half .
Bakerstreet is on 11th week of flowering . Weird popcorn buds all over her . Pretty sure it’s a garbage plant for butter :)

This grow did not give me a lot of joy . I don’ t know why
I probably got a couple of ounces for some bu4E2AB0E7-77FE-4341-89BC-CC73BAADB073.jpegB7A32378-375A-4171-8CAD-4843DD5B5A06.jpeg0EC9D588-DF93-4050-A4F7-96D840988A31.jpegD803D791-6532-4BDF-8D85-CA9A238C0206.jpeg6E809709-09B8-48F1-9983-0AB56614D3C4.jpeg2B4C6AC1-BF75-4E70-9C05-EAC2FC85DEDE.jpegtter
Whacked Argyle. Rip sweet girl . Just popcorns and trim .

Took some large top heavy buds off Bakerstreet .
Not really a picture day.
Rant begins:
I started this hobby for my dear neighbor who has stage 4 .
We made oil this morning and he helped me trim until his lungs gave out and he had to return home .
Bitter sweet day .
Namaste everyone .

It’s all good because you did it for all the right reasons. No matter the end result it was a success and you did a bang up job. Keep the chin up your a great person for stepping up like that. Your neighbour should feel better just for having peeps like yourself in their corner. If this journal is going to b closed let me know and keep in touch as maybe in the future if times get tough I can help you out. I have np help out great people that go out of their way for others. Play safe and enjoy

Thanks @KCCO 77 . It was a tough day . He had been hiding how sick he was but really couldn't hide it while we harvested yesterday . I fear he doesn't have enough time left for my spring surprise for him . ( outdoor auto pots) interestingly, his prostrate cleared up ( when i began to get serious about his medication ) but he has now developed stage 4 lung, lymph, etc.
He donated all of his smoking and vaping gear and I spent the evening crying and polishing them up.
I Sent him home with big batch of cookies, oil, gummys and capsules .( and smoked cheese) haha
Its hard when you are helpless.
I'm glad I am here for him .I will miss having him next door to share my enthuasium. :( I know that's kind of selfish, but he really gives me determination to grow big beautiful healthy plants and I m not ready to lose him yet :(
Anyways, this too shall pass. Thank you for you right kind words .❤
