Cottage 420's Organic Perpetual Indoor Garden

I just took 4 paper bags from the fridge. No mold (my biggest fear) and still smell great. And it took 8 days to dry as opposed to 4 or 5 the way I usually do it.

Back home ... after 13 daze in the fridge, dumped buds into 2 big bowls till 1/2 full - were cool so worried about moisture and mold out of the fridge - they are in large bowls with fans blowing on them - still a little moist for my liking before going into jars fur curing.

House smells like blueberries and a chemical of sorts.

I'll get some pics up from the harvest. Took me 2 days to trim up and into bags then into fridge before we left for vacay.

I've got #5 still flowering. 80 days or so... she's about done tho. Prolly take a look at trichomes tomorrow and chop here soon. For a runt she fattened up nicely but pretty much one main stem thats 6+feet tall and a few side branches that aren't very large at all.

sounds like everything is pretty much where you want it home for a few to take care of business then back to the cottage are you doing a grow there have fun bob up there in gods country!

Space is a premium for us in our current location. Even a mini fridge would be tough to pull off (unless I put it in our bedroom LOL)

Might get kinda hot in there too... ya never know. All good with the bags they were stuffed in our 26sf frigerator, prolly not enough room between bags. I had the whole thing filled to the gills. Once I pulled a bunch of bags out and spread the rest out a bit they seem to be almost perfectly dry and ready for a final go over and into jars for the cure. Smell much better now too, they were a tad grassy at first.

Hope u are staying cool Bob. This heat is brutal.

This week was brutal... sitting on a dock on a lake in the middle of nowhere - you'd think it was heaven. It is but this week felt like hell. Bro it was 34C in the shade... in the sun it was baking cake temp on my skin.

Wife set out a bowl with 2 raw eggs on a rock and they were cooked thru in about an hour. No I didn't eat them. burrrrp ahem ahem... "you feeding them to the dogs right?"

I've been home and slept, still wiped out from the heat. It was tough, jumping in the water was good, couldn't swim much after like Monday and beer didn't even help. That was first.
Lots of Canadians went home about Tuesday. Can't say as I blame em, I'd have done the same if I lived in the GTA. If that heat happens again, going to town (60 miles 1 way) and getting a window AC... Only problem is the cottage doesn't really have any windows a AC unit fits ... OK I'll figure something out.

To get an idea of the heat. Was 33-35C in the shade which is 100-102 with the humidity the Canadians call Humidex it was 44-45C = 120F and NO WIND.

So only relief was jump in the lake and get the fans out... and wait for it... fucking flies. Black ones, green ones, green headed ones, hairy ones, delta winged ones. I'm beat. Glad I'm retired. I'd have to take another vacation to recover from vacation.

Not complaining, we've had many many many beautiful days so just take the good with the gooder and thank the Gods for another day, hot or not. :Namaste:

Been up there in July when it was 37F (3C) and wind and rain. Not sure which is better. The 37F thing never stayed around long.

The blow that happened to get the heat out was 30mph winds for a day. Wave heights were 3-4 foot rollers.. too big for my boat. Very dangerous in small craft.

Back to weeds. I got an idea, lets chop em all down.

Hello! It never hurt mine to take them out of the fridge let them warm back up then back in the cool fridge, still same rule about moisture content before putting in jars, you knew that already. But in my exper. they come out of the fridge better looking color and flavor than a hang dry. A mellower burn too... who doesnt like a mellow burn......
. . . it could be me cause I is wackyo_O
Cheers, grate day!

hehehe...glad Ya' lived thru' it bob...most of my 65 years, have been spent in Ontario, and I believe one has to always expect the unexpected when it comes to our weather...good or bad...as a NWO guy, I appreciate any hot spells...despite any wrenches it might throw into the grow...Years ago, we spent a week sailing lake O with friends that had relocated down south...couldn't believe taking morning dips at 8:00 a.m. and loving it...never catch me doing that in Gitchigoomie!...lolool...take care...cheerz...h00k...:rollit:

Yeah KB for sure on the smooth. It worked for sure, and we got to go on vacation. I'd have had to cancel and wait for the dry and then trim 4 huge plants. I'm still trimming. Been 4 straight days. The BD isn't my favorite plant to trim and add in foxtails. o_O

I've been trimming until I cant see anymore.

Not complaining, we have had a stellar year in the indoor gardens. Our stash is runnith over, so feeling blessed and thankful for sure. Things could be the opposite and it will likely happen so just thankful every day for our good fortune :Namaste:

DT #9 - on the hook. Trimmed her right before going on vacay.

DT #9 - hang dry. This is a nice Sativa - will grab you by the cohonies if you get too happy.

DT #9 - sticky

Ok so we have 1 more BH still growing.

Blue Dream X Blue Dream x WW - a lot of Sativa. This one is the runt. I didn't have room in the fridge to do low and slow dry (4 other plants taking up all the room) so I let her go.
She's at 89 days in flower here. Just starting to fade a little bit. I had to tie her up good or she'd have fallen over a while ago.

I think she's going to be a keeper. It's a big cola. I'm going to need some bigger scissors.

And the rest of the top with fox tail!

Fox tail close up

Top over head high @ 7'

Side cola foxy

Another side bud. She's about ready to chop.

BH #5

welcome back from hols mr.Brown, I hear you on the temps and humidity as here at home our summers are getting hotter and our winters are becoming milder in the 4 years that I've been back home, I don't get into debates n such but our weather system and glo warming is a scary thing if it's going to carry this way....

And frigging massive cola that, looks like an extension of the ol billy club. ( truncheon favored by the Brits )
