Costanza's 2nd Grow Of 2022

Day 4 F. Plants starting their stretch, I've been doing a foliar spray consisting of
.5ml of powersi bloom per gal of ph water to try and keep the internode spacing to a minimum and prevent a crazy stretch in this tent. Canopy filling out nicely and continuing to supercrop branches as they outgrow the canopy.

They look happy and lovely colour Good job :thumb:

Such a perfect canopy. Gonna be one hell of a show.
Yeah I'm just trying not to screw them up now. Last grow looked similar at this point and then I went crazy and exfoliated way too much. Gonna go very light on the defoliation on this one

It's been awhile since I had a Bill appearance haha. Hope all is well buddy @Bill284

Good morning buddy. :ciao:
Haven't seen the Fire Marshall in a while.
I've fallen behind so much lately,
just swamped with stuff to do here.
I'm running out of weather.
Hope your ladies are doing good.
Take care my friend.

Day 7F canopy evening is going great so far, gave them a top fed microbe mix on wednesday and then gave some ph water with .5 ml silica top fed to try and promoted some root growth in the top of the pots probably wishful thinking but I figure it cant hurt. Been alternating filling the base with 80% strength nutrient feed and then plain ph water the next day to try and keep the res from spiking since I have no way of cleaning out the bases. Another negative mark on the self watering pots although I prefer filling up the bases to sitting there for an hour hand watering. Just purchased some seeds from a drop this morning so next run might be Gary Poppins.

Good morning Costanza :ciao: hope everything is going well my friend.
I might say you have those pots working well. :yahoo:
Those ladies are all exactly the same, freeken beautiful.
Text book gorgeous canopy.
The pots , they are a pre-built version of the SIP system everyone is making now?
It looks like you only have the yellow lids under 2 of them, any reason?
Take care.

I put the yellow lids under the two in the front because they were shorter than the ones in the back. Purely aesthetic ocd what can I say I'm slightly nuts.

What is under the tent? I'm sure I bothered you about it before. :Namaste:
The lids make a good air gap from concrete.
I'm more than slightly nuts and too lazy for ocd.
But I love how neat clean and beautiful your entire setup is.
I've always grown wild crazy girls.
Never anything as perfect yours.

the tent is in my guest bedroom and its carpeted. I just have a regular drip tray that came with the tent underneath the pots

I may have just prevented a disaster. My neighbor had a tree cut down in his yard last week and I noticed that an hour before sunset the sun is not being blocked by the tree anymore and its shining on the window in my grow room. Used a couple dark towels to cover the window a little bit but still some light coming through. I'm on day 8 of flower running 12/12 from 6am to 6pm. I wonder if I changed my timer from 7am to 7pm to avoid the sun if that will be ok.

Give them 24 hrs darkness then they will be fine. :thumb:

just doing a little comparison from last grow at the same day of flowering. This current grow is not stretching as much as the last which I think is a good thing, maybe spraying the silica has helped with the stretch. They are also more even and I think I did a better training job on this one. I think the area I failed on last grow was taking too much off at the 14 day cleanup, the goal on this one is to just take 4 to 5 fan leaves off each plant blocking lower bud sites and not get too crazy and take half of the leaves off since I think this effected my yield the most. Here is a pic from the last grow at day 9 of flower compared to a pic of this current grow at the same date. What do you guys think?

Day 10F. These things going well. I decided to install the 2nd scrog a little early, the plants still need to grow another inch but most of the colas are tall enough and I wanted to try and space the colas out to see how I am gonna defoliate and which colas I might cut off that are too close to each other. Had to order a new piece if ducting since I took off the carbon filter during veg and the current duct is all mangled and wont fit over the carbon filter. Gonna be getting awfully stinky very soon I probably have about 2 to 3 weeks to go before the room smells like a bud factory.

Every one perf, but you can see the difference already.
Good luck your going to stink out the neighborhood soon.:yahoo:

I know I'm doing something right if you're calling it perfect Bill, thanks for the compliment it means more than you know. I tend to overthink things and screw up so I really appreciate it

I can see that, not necessarily a bad thing.
A clean well organized grow is rarely a problem.
I'm not so organized.
My ladies tend to get out of control.
Take care my friend. :ciao:

Day 11 F. Finally starting to get some little buds. I've noticed that I get slight tip discoloration on the newer growth so I'm gonna use ph water for the next couple days to let it correct itself hopefully. Nothing horrible just enough to be noticeable and trigger OCD 🤣

ok so its been bugging the shit out of me all day about the tip burn. I have been searching for answers all morning and I believe its light burn. I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago to the new growth at the top and it corrected itself after a week of adjusting to the light intensity. Gonna go back down to 50% for the rest of the week and see if that helps
