Turns out it's harder to kill cannabis than previously expected. One of the hash orphans is still out at the cabin. I'll need to wander out after my next meeting and get a photo.
The Michigan 12 have all survived my neglect and month-early start date except for I think GG4. It's got new growth on it but I'm not expecting much.
Also the rest of the prizes from the March photo contest came in OMFG YASSSS! Not sure what I'll do with this stuff yet.
The outdoor plants have been beat to hell which I expected. I did not expect even 11 to survive which brings up the issue of state limits. Yes I know it's unlikely the cops will bother with a warrant for three indoor plants in addition to my 11 outside but I don't trust them and who knows if anyone's holding some weird-ass grudge since we're very obviously a liberal home. Politics is not nice around here and I don't trust my all white and largely MAGA-fuck neighbors.
Also if I ever need to call the cops for something I don't want the extra worry so I'm gonna try to unload one of the gelatos (I always grow two and still have some from last harvest) and then yeah....try to pick two others to either cull or gift.
I've been chatting with a couple growers about starting to see a 100% outdoor grow in the summers either going away completely or being scaled down tons. From May to October is a long time to wait plus I had fertilized seeds from last grow and I know I didn't herm anyone. Someone west of me is growing ditchweed or being a shitbag and not culling males in time.
The local social media grower's group is full of people who have no idea how to sex a plant let alone understand WHY they don't want pollen getting out.
Ugh...so yeah. Greenhouse maybe? I would feel less Snow White one with nature if I went full indoor but....it's just more controllable and the first batch of hydro I grew is soooo so so so good. SO good. It's like I'm shoving blueberries and coffee up my nose when I crack the jar and the effect is consistent throughout the plant and strong.
end rant.
Edit: no, not end rant. I want to clarify: I don't expect other outdoor growers to be exclusively sensimilla. I don't want them to be if they're legit breeding but they probably aren't around here. If I want seed-free weed it's on me 100%.
Also: the more I read on cannabis genetics the more I question even using feminized seeds but that's for another time.
LOVE YOU ALL!
Edit two: yes...I need to weed my beds. I am doing the best I can and my spinach and cabbage are gonna have to deal a little longer with unwanted cohabitants.
