Yep, I'm watching that right now. I gave everyone some DE this morning since they're outside and plan to spray with chili garlic soap and my azomite foliar feed tonight. Wild day here, septic drain field is finally replaced. Herd of slutty lady turkeys came through while the dudes were working with big machinery and I run out with the camera like a fool. Impressed the workers real good.
Bonus: the contractor ordered way too much drainage stone and left it, so the man I ganked it for the sauna floor (currently bentonite clay....bad choice) AND because there's a ton of ochre in it. I make paint from it sometimes.

And then I asked how to get more sponsors and the general consensus was you just ask. I was lucky that Homegrown is a sponsor here so I sent their person a polite note. From there it was just formalities. I asked a couple other companies as well and never got a response so it's not like there's a magic formula. I think just being sincere, eager, and polite is the most you can do.

Oh man..for some strange reason I despised Kevin Costner when I was a kid. I was a Brandon Lee girl and Kevin was too polished and pretty and soft for me and his niceness just irritated me. Like that dude from The Princess Bride. I just figured Kevin Costner would be from Lake Wobegone or some shit. ...ok...I can't write currently. I moved the big girls in last night from the protected yet unheated forge. They spent the night in the 'grinder room' which we keep around 40-45. I left the hash orphans out in the cold. Guess who looked better this morning? 
Still got a not-so-thriving vibe with the Rudeboi OG and Alien Rock Candy. I'm naming them Andy and Ollie (Bob's Burgers). There's a gear somewhere that's just not lubricated, if you know what I mean.
To be fair is they were outside yesterday in decent cold winds so it's not like I'm babying them but the other strains are doing ok. HULKBERRY...omg...she's loving my horrible ways. Wedding Cake, too. They're begging for more abuse. I love them.
Oh...the white stuff all over is DE.
I'll prolly keep them all inside today unless something changes...like the snow stops. Or maybe not. We'll see how I'm feeling...
EDIT: the hash orphans are in disarray because one of my super ho chickens godzilla'd through them while I was trying to catch her to put medicine on her sex wounds.

Oh man, I'd have to look. 1-2 weeks-ish. My first up pot was because of them looking like they didn't have enough root space. I'm thinking once the geopots get here I'll do a temp transplant to those.
Yes to topping. I plan to do at least one more on all the plants. Oh...I did jack up Rudeboi during topping. That one got more of a FIM treatment.
Hi Copper. You thinking of DIYing for live resin? How complicated is that? I haven't heard of cryo-ethanol. I have so much fun over here in your journal! Always interesting things going on!

I guess? The more I google the less I understand live resin. It seems a couple different things are being called live resin so I'm...not sure. What I'm going to do:
Harvest and immediately freeze in my big deep freeze. Commercially this is done in a flash freeze unit (I think) which I don't have. No drying. Then do dry ice hash and sort (commercially done with liquid nitrogen or a hydro/fluorocarbon). Add ethanol and strain though a 15 micron screen. Now I have some choices that I think will greatly affect quality but I want to move away from the RSO ricecooker thing and do a lower and slower evaporation of the alcohol, possibly in my vacuum chamber with no heat. Trying to think through if I want to work water in to the final 'cook off' (tho as I said hopefully there'll be less cooking).
aaaand then...uh... I come get you guys and y'all teach me to dab, I suppose.
I'm really just doing all this because I'm in love with all the heady glass sets with the banger beads and spinners and all the goodies but don't tell them man >.> He thinks it's for health.

I had to pay the dog tax this morning while getting photos of the outdoor girls in their temporary home:
That's Lily. She likes to pull mom into rivers while on walks just so she can poop in the river and then chase the turds downstream. She's kind of intense but also sweet so we call her Tank Commander Lily.
She looooves being in photos.
I hope that comes across:
Outdoor girls are doing as well as can be expected. I'm pretty impressed by the 'higher sativa' plants. I always thought sativa meant not as cold hardy? Ollie and Andy are still eating each other's boogers...whatever. Weird-ass plants.
p.s.: since the animals already hijacked me journal this morning; have some Mr. Fishodor lewdies from bath time last night:
