Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Was thinking it could be Ca, but it looks weird and pops only on the bottom. Hmm I'm gonna have to feed some lithothamnium just in case, it's not that I can overdo it :) These Manipuris are actually far from finishing, they've just started flowering :)

I've tried some SS popcorn finally. It's a pretty strong weed with great, heady punch. I like it, it's more indica than UD, but has similar potency, so I can use it in my arsenal. It's quite sweet, but also has this musky/hashy aroma :Hookah:

Happy Harvests Conrad, enjoy the fruits. :high-five: Good to hear your patience with the Star was rewarded. :Namaste: Those Lebs must have been running nicely at chop. Hope the resin plays the right notes. The Lumbos will for sure if they decide to do that thing called flower lol. ;)

You scrap it off with a razor there JGrow... Congrats on the harvest there Con... I'm just now thinking of taking the heads off one of the UD's. They have a nice coating of trichomes at are mostly cloudy.. Hope yours smokes well.. I'm fixxing to do a sample off her tonight as my nightly first smoke to get a taste. And that wil tell me if it's time. I took a bud 4 days ago for this sample, so she's atad thicker today. They are still sprouting off new pistils so I'm going to only take the one,, no signs of molds yet on anything.. GL in the gardens. I'm not sure what that is you added for the ca,,, but might be a good time to add some 'REALLY SLOW'' ca source for next years gardens. Coarse Bone meal or start saving them now, egg shells I hear are a good long term source. Coarse crushed egg shells take 3-4 months to start breaking down so they wood be a good choice to add in the fall or harvest time..... GL and Keepem Green

Yeah they look sweet while they're drying, just few days and I'll be taking them off the rope. Aromas remind me of my Malawi Gold, this weird spicy/floral combination hanging in the air. I'm definitely looking forward to it. SS is just what I needed basically, strong indica strain. I'm gonna prepare the Lumbos for the autumn now, I just hope they're not gonna be the only green plants left there in December or maybe they're gonna change colour :)

Looking really good con! Nothing like a harvest!! Anyone know how to collect scissor hash?

I just scrape it off with a knife.

UD doesn't mould or at least most of the phenos don't even if exposed to high RH for long time or few days of constant rain. I had them growing next to Super Skunks, which all moulded when RH went up by the end of September last year, and not even one cola was affected. But you're definitely in time to harvest them, so smoke this bud and figure it out. 80-90% cloudy is enough for them, but if they look like they're still packing it's your call. Well this week I'm taking all the big colas and I hope the smaller ones will have enough of a good weather to mature.

Congrats on the harvest Con! Hopefully those Manipuris start flowering soon and make it to the finish line.

They actually did, so there's hoping for a harvest :thumb:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I finally started chopping UDs in The New Sunny Spot. Big colas were done, so now they're on the rope in my drying room. The problem is I might've caught some heat. Someone's been there yesterday or two days ago and it wasn't my buddy, cause I called him. There were sings of human activity like the entrance cleared with a gardening tool and plastic bottles I used to collect water tossed all over. Plants nearby also had chopped branches in a regular pattern like somebody was making a way with a quad or a bike or whatever, which is how my spot was probably found... but the plants were untouched, so most likely not cops. But it's the second time in a row, so I don't know if I should risk coming back to do a second harvest, what do you think? This someone might be considering calling the cops after all or will come back in few days and just loot what's left, it's hard to say!

Well whatever here's are the pics.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Hoping for the best. I think a quad or bike rider would probably plan on taking the plants, rather than reporting them. I would think they have their own dirt to hide. ;) If there's a way to clear it all out, maybe with your buddy working in tandem - one hidden with a backpack and the other clear and scouting? :Namaste:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I think I'd scout the area first then head in and clear it out once you're certain no one's there. It's insane the paranoia associated with a plant we should be able to grow in our outdoor gardens.

ATM it's not even the biggest problems. My wife freaked out and she already has stress related anxiety (fashion job), so I had to promise her I wouldn't go back there... but there's at least a pound left on these 5 plants :hmmmm: Well I couldn't take it now even if I wanted to, cause I'm running at full capacity, I'm gonna show you.

Let's hope I can find a good solution that doesn't put me at risk. Obviously even if I hike there next week I can just find naked branches, so there's no perfect way out of this mess.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. If you ride around or just beat the bushes (maybe it was a hunter) you neither carry around heavy equipment nor you have your bags in handy to fill with them fresh buds. But this dude may definitely come back there well prepared to pick what I left, cause that's what most people would do. Good things is that cops weren't waiting for me there and nobody followed me back home, which is as good as it gets. Well at least I got most of what I've been growing. Pity about Colombians though if I have to scram.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

The worst part of guerilla growing for sure is having to worry about getting caught or ripped off man! i hope you are able to bring the rest of the harvest home without incident!

Yeah it's the worst part. I might downscale my operation next year just in order to stay on the safe side.

So far I was ripped off once last year. I lost cream of the crop in my favourite spot, which I had to abandon straight away. Big blow, man!

I doubt that. I'm very careful when I travel to my growing spots, I never enter the forest with anyone around and I change my routes too. Most likely it was someone walking or riding around or someone clearing paths overrun by blackberry bushes. It might've been a hunter or someone looking for mushrooms too. And whoever he was he clearly didn't have an idea what to do with all these plants, which gives me a hope, but I really don't know if I'm gonna go back there.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Anyway it's been a very good run for me and I still have another spot :)

And it's not that I'm gonna be short on bud this year. I's actually creating a problem of its own :smokin2:

Would be nice to harvest the rest of your pit site but not worth going to jail for a pound of cannabis. I think it would be tempting to go after the Lumbo though.
