Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Yeah harvest a pound and get 5 yrs... kinda not worth it.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

This is disturbing news. Sorry it's got stressful on you at this crucial stage, but so great you got some harvested first .

This the second incident of 'interference' in an outdoor grow in the last couple of days. LED209 had some of his superb (legal) outdoor grow ripped. So sad. He has a massive amount left tho' - just such a bad kind of event.

I hope you're careful if you decide to go back, and that the 'other' spot is still all good.

Indeed not worth it. Safety first
It's 5 years here also :yikes:

Not a bit!

Sorry to hear.....looks like a tent would fit real well in that dry room, maybe time for a little indoor? :Namaste:

You're a voice of reason, man. I may actually do that. The worst problem is my electrical wiring, once I plugged in a CFL in this very room and my circuit breaker went off. Some sockets are more sensitive than others, but I cannot run an oven with a washing machine on and vice versa. However it's a good idea that I've started to ponder seriously, getting a tent, a nice LED, fans, filters and the whole bunch. Last time I used 600 HPS, but I don't think it'd work for in a tent. Then I could only run it in the winter or I'd have 120 F every day. I'd have to battle high RH in flowering too, so dehumidifier is a must. But it may work for me, few plants indoor in the winter and few bonsai plants in the summer would sort me out I guess. I'm also considering serious downsizing as an alternative, growing 5-6 plants in two different locations planted later in the season so they don't get too big. Maybe I could even revisit some of the old ones and use autos started around March :high-five:

I cannot imagine how much it would cost to control indoor temps there! It sounds like Con has some crazy long/hot summers. Maybe sneak in a real good winter grow though :hmmmm:

Yeah only winter is an option here, in the summer it just doesn't make sense considering the effort.

risk reward, eh?
would someone planning a rip off leave evidence like tossing the bottles around? i dunno?
i been ripped on a guerilla grow. 'aint no good. take care Con. i will be thinkin bout ya.

It looked like an accidental thing, I really doubt he knew what he'd find, otherwise these plants woud've been chopped by now. And this is basically private forest/hill where I'm growing, so hired hands clear the old paths once in a while, chop some trees and whatnot. So far it's not a rip-off and I'm really tempted to go and take a peek in few days, but it definitely is risky.

Yeah that's the silver lining here, I'm drowning in bud :)

And yes I'll be very careful from now on.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Couldn't you go back in a few days pretending to just be a hiker that happened to stumble upon some plants? If it looks to risky just avoid the area and move on. If nothing has changed....chop chop.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I'm still not used to seeing green leafs on harvested plants. I was told that your fruit gains flavor from harvesting it's leafs. I've always let the fans and sugar leafs go very yellow before harvesting. I might pull one plant soon to see how it tastes.

Cheers

Hey Con, if you do go back, you could be something else. Bring tools obvious to a different task, to support your assumed reason for being there. You could be hiking, and foraging some mushrooms, taking pictures, geotagging/caching etc. You could have some already in the bag, and add a few other props.

Of course, there's plenty in that room to get you through a couple of weeks. :)

Nothing worth that kind of penalty.

hey con how you doing the day after, now that things have cooled a bit I'm a believer of everything happens for a reason and its possible that spot was destined to get you popped and this was a warning take what you got and move on you still have the manis and lumbos:cheesygrinsmiley:

I could, but if cops are waiting for me and I'll wander there, they're gonna bust my ass without asking any questions.

It's not really true, plants that are deficient are deficient and that's it. Sure you can try to lower nitrogen in bloom, but I don't think it will ever work for plants grown in the ground. It's really hard to have a completely faded plant growing that way, cause you don't decide what they take and how much. Sure lower leaves will be cannibalised and nitrogen deficiency may move upwards a little bit, but that's worst of it for me. UDs that I've just harvested were the most faded plants I ever had probably and they still had plenty of leaves to go through.

I'm thinking about it, but that'd have to be very quick and sneaky operation. Posing for a guy with a basket looking for mushrooms is doable, but they can still search my house if they stop me and decide I shouldn't have been there and then I'm done.

Yeah a warning from a universe, that's how I feel about it.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Doesn't sound worth it. Unless you planned to clear the house of dried/drying weed during your visit, and you felt good about it.

I've done some weird things over the last few years. Loaded a van full of 4 footers and drove them ... around for a couple days. :) I've had the City people come in a couple times over my 12 years here and assess for taxes after improvements. I packed the closets full of ladies and perfume lol. But, the worst I'd get would be financial, and a slap. Nothing is worth a cage, fuck that, full stop.

Yeah this is the worst thing. I can look as an exemplary citizen "yes sir" and whatnot, but if they have ANY reason to believe I'm the guy they've been waiting for they're gonna ask for search warrant and I'm busted.

You know I don't want to move all my weed, pipes, seeds and everything else just to be on the safe side when checking things out. It's just a lot of hassle and doesn't feel like it's worth it.

On the other hand this guy might be afraid so much of what an owner of these plants could do to him that he'll never come back there. A lot of Italians will stay out of trouble and will rather not put their ass on the line, it's easier for them to pretend they didn't see anything. But most likely I will see all of them cut down if I come back, so taking a walk doesn't make a lot of sense in this scenario.

My wife would definitely agree with you  You know I'm a risk-taker, but she's prone to anxiety :passitleft:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Ahh,..OK,.i understand a bit more now. Your gonna go look at the them arn't ya...can't help yourself. Just what i might do as well...but , but...would it be worth it...your spot has been compromised. Someone knows of it...did ya see what happened to Ziggs this summer?
I would look at it this way...if the plants are still there, then there is a pretty good chance that person/s will either tell the law, or someone else .If you do decide to go back to them...the quicker , the better,..IMO, of course.
Play safe Conrad..FFS... Have a great night ,..:high-five::Namaste:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I agree, the longer you wait the more risky it gets. Honestly it is a huge risk. If you do go have an air tight alibi for why you're there.
