Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

Hmm in my long war against mites I tried a lot of stuff, that worked more or less or it didn't, but I never tried mixing water and alcohol. So today to knock the suckers down right before the harvest I added some grappa to my spray and I treated bottom buds/leaves, where they found their home and guess what? It totally worked! It killed them on contact! I checked with my loupe and they were dead as a doornail! The good thing about it is, that alcohol will evaporate in half an hour leaving no residue, which is as good as it gets :)

Yeah I read about it, but then I stumbled into some negative opinions, so I dropped it. In a hindsight I should've gone with alcohol straight away. Well, lesson learnt.

Ummm... "WOW!!!!" seems way too small.
Thanks baby!

Con I was away for a few days and just had a chance to catch up. The WQ is looking great.
The more you described the smell of her, the more I think she's leaning towards the W side. My WW smells her best when she smells like old Christmas fruitcake.

ok all caught up dam gone two weeks and you have pages to read its been busy here con glad to see you ended up with some beautiful looking ss buds after all the bs you had you really did a good job saving that girl and your wq is looking like its going to be some rock hard nugs that plant is really pretty love those wq buds good to be back!:smokin:

I was wondering about alcohol. I used to use it for mealy bugs and scale on jade plants. All pests love a jade. It's good to know this worked.
old Christmas fruitcake
Got to love that smell :rofl::rofl:

I used alcohol on broad mites and it worked a charm, I used it every 2 days at first to kill any hatchlings popping up. It works!

I used it 2nd day ad it works much better than everything else!

Glad to help, man :)

Washing them in water with hydrogen peroxide kills them all at harvest as well. I don't remember the exact ratio recommended, but a pint bottle in a 5 gallon bucket of water does the trick, and it doesn't harm the resin.

I'm just gonna give them a cold shower.

Why would one use something called "Hydrogen Peroxide" when one could use Rum?
Teehee.... couldn't resist! I actually could totally see why dumping rum on one's plant might leave behind some not so welcome (or, perhaps very welcome... dunno) residue... but Tead would never let that hold him back.

Rum wash. I could get behind that

Lol. I have heard of people using it in a foliar, but I've only ever used it to was at the end. I have a feeling rum would add some flavor in the wash.

I'm sure it would :)

So what was your spray made up of Conrad? Just water and grappa?

Yep.

We might get there with curing. So far I can describe her as a mixture of earthy, overripe mango and rotting lemon gas. And she really stinks up everything around.

Hey here's alittle list to look thru. These are the recommended sprays they allow here. If you look down the list they have afew with H2O2. And afew others, that I thought it was interesting? They have most of the commonly used ones in it, with its ingredients listed.

I've checked. It's an interesting list. A lot of stuff that I've used personally.

Welcome back, man. I hope you had a great holiday. Yeah all things considered I managed to fight back against mites. But the plant herself helped me a lot, she just didn't give in. I'm smoking the freaky pheno, and although the smoke is quite weak it's very mellow and pleasant, so I'm expecting another level here.

Yeah I'm glad I discovered it! I wish I knew before.

Ok, so the plants look like that now!

White Querkle is quite lanky and these colas are real spears. She grew with no problems, she just needed to be water very often... not enough water and she was drooping quickly. Buds are rock hard, but they're hidden under the mass of sugar leaves. Smell is very strong and earthy, but there's a fair share of gassy, rotten lemon smell too, which makes for a hell of a mix.

And here's a Dutch Kush. Tiny gal with a very nice, spicy smell. She might take another week or so, but she's almost there.

I'm really happy I'm harvesting them both, cause it's getting crazy hot here
