Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

Yeah Nspecta made a really good impression on me in Meet the Breeders. Very humble guy, who doesn't need to mouth off to get respect and if he says he's 3rd generation Humboldt grower and his family was one of the first to see the staple cuts around I believe him even if his beans are a bit pricey

My 1 and only reg seed I ever popped from CSI... still running her. Chemdawg.

Shantibaba said once that sativa is the champagne and indica is the red wine :)

Weed snob alert:
Yeah my peeps are spoiled. With a good cure, Sativa is hard to beat. Too bad for the rec market, proper Sativa takes longer to grow. I guess all us "Cottage" growers will have to hold up the candle and enjoy! :rollit:

Not a lot of breeders working on IBL’s these days

Check out anything Cube related from Exotic... The Cube is an IBL and they are using a stud to breed with.

Same with Platinum if you like quality Indica. I'm pretty impressed with Buffalato (Platinum Buffalo mom). Gets me pretty high and not couch locked either. Flavor and smell are unique. Melons and cucumber mix and its in the flavor too.

Conrad... I wanna personally say "thanks" for adding some science to the cannabis conversation. There seems to be more and more of this actual science rising to the top of conversation. I think it makes people think more about growing plants. Hopefully many of us will be able to put science of growing plants in with the science of human diet.

Humans, plants and fungi have much in common. The first one being EARTH.

Gotta take care of her & us.

I think that starts with a basic understanding of how all life grow.

Should we preserve the genetics of the Landrace strains?

Or mix them to come up with the "best ever"?

I think in the cannabis world we are in a "mix for best" time. But "best" has a lot of different meanings.
Best taste
Best smell
Best medicine
Best pretty
Best yield
Best name

All good. HOPEFULLY soon, we can talk about cannabis and our world culture together in one sentence to include everyone. Kinda like wheat..

lets go down to the bakery and get a loaf of bread, and stop off and the market and grab some flowers. <--- cannabis flowers. :passitleft:

Auto Gorilla OG is starting to look really frosty. I have to say I undervalued her in the beginning, when she looked so wimpy. But the she packed very quickly and started to amaze me.

Autos are neat. Now, add a bit of pollen from a Punto Rojo, Panama, Mangobiche or Bodi Zipolite Oaxacan...get some F1 vigor going... There should be some very good breeding over the next few years

I do have to say autos have come along ways. And they do make an interesting candidate for any breeding project. Places like Portland,, we have to get that early harvest in. Peoples been playing with using this auto genetics to speed up flowering time on photoperiod plants. I know I'm going to be trying the ones I got. Last I grew was damn near comparable to my standard photos. I did a BBxC-99 fast from Seedman, And hey, a bird in hand is better than 2 in a bush. It did come in 14 days before my others. Good solid buds,, are always better than moldy ones.............

Mojitos weren't popular when I quit drinking. I miss the tastes at times....not the penalties.

Well I never had to quit drinking fortunately... but I saw many lives destroyed by this substance indeed!

My 1 and only reg seed I ever popped from CSI... still running her. Chemdawg.

I have a lot of seeds I need to run before I start buying more! Thx for your appreciation. I promote science in growing step by step hoping it's gonna take root. It was really an impulse in the beginning, I couldn't listen to the conversations where all parts where being flat-out wrong and were feeding each other a bunch of gibberish. Let's hope cannabis growing is gonna become a thing to be proud of one day and it's gonna become as important to our culture as anything else. It's gonna be a long way though :thanks:

Hey! I love Mojitos in the summertime. Liking that M2 weed, too, I see. Which reminds me.... where has @ilikemsticky been?

Yeah I actually smoke it in the evening as it's probably the most Afghani influenced strain I have on my hands atm and I just have to keep making mojitos and mint tea, cause otherwise the mint is gonna take over my garden :)

Cheers Everyone,
Nice, (@bobrown14 ) that would certainly put an excellent dimension on our weekly “Local Growers Market”! :rollit:

It should be a part of local farmers' markets. I'd definitely be happy to see it invading them in Italy. You go there, pick up some tomatoes, peas, aubergines and some good, organic weed :)

I think it's not really my thing to start breeding autos. Also there are so many strains around, that I hardly see a point to do it. But if someone's into it, why not?

I do have to say autos have come along ways. And they do make an interesting candidate for any breeding project. Places like Portland,, we have to get that early harvest in. Peoples been playing with using this auto genetics to speed up flowering time on photoperiod plants. I know I'm going to be trying the ones I got. If my autos don't yield much, I might give these super autos a try. It sounds like a much better option outdoor.

I checked Candida today and the plant looks decent, very lanky though. But ACDC grown outdoor looks like a hog. This one really gets good reviews too!

Check out Medicine Man seeds. He sells reasonably priced CBD strains and Chris Scorpio grew out his ACDC and loves the smoke. I think he sells the Cannatonic seeds at 40 bucks for 10 (usually ships 12 or 13 in bags labeled as '10 packs'). He sells his ACDC for 60 bucks US Dollars for 10 (again, usually get 12 or 13.

Anyone wanting to try ACDC from seeds could try there.

Another great recommendation! I'll check it out for sure! As far as DP I don't know how I feel about it as I never smoked it, but African sativas are fairly similar... I'll have to run this Bushman's to double-check how I feel about them :)

DP is a famous fast finisher, maybe cause it originated quite far from the equator or maybe micro climate had something to do with it. But I saw our Oregon friend's cut and his plant was blooming in July, so that part is true for sure.
