Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

Around 5-6 weeks I think

Not likely going to get bigger.. AUTOs... love hate relationship with me. As long as you're not to worried about almost no yield then good ... otherwise they grow like this a lot for me. 1/2 are 10" the other 1/2 are 14" and a few taller ones when I run them. It's genetics no way out of as short smallish plant unless you feed them nitrogen. meh.. I can't stand the taste of weed grown like that ..... to each their own, eh?

I always start them off in the finish containers ... #3 is about perfect... good for the occasional 20" and perfect for the smallies. I run 20 at a time to make up for the lack of yield! I get a decent stash that way.

Organically grown... brings out more of the ruderalis traits IMHO. The smoke tho, good things come in small packages! My 4'11" mom always told me that. I'm going with it...

They can run in the VEG lighting. It's not going to make much difference. When you can put them out on the veranda that'd be where I'd grow em. Can run flower lights at night and bring the little ones in and give them extra... don't even have to do it every day. You wont get hermies on the AUTOs which is kinda weird. I've ran 100s of em and never had any issues other than size and I've done just about everything you can imagine wrong to them. One good trait. They are tough as nails (and pretty), like my Russian wife. o_O

Reason they flowered early was due to the small container. They run the tap root down to find out what the soil is so they know how tall to grow. They hit btm of pot and then they want to flower. Why I start in #3 pots. I could go to #5 but I've tried and the difference ain't worth the extra soil IMHO.

AUTOs ... all about time. Think of then at 2 weeks after sprout they start stretch then flower.

Those tallish airpots should do the trick. G/L with them and don't stress over them for sure. I look at these AUTOs as bonus weed. If they make it to the end ... yay celebrate.

I got to say,,, autos have come along ways... I bought into Lowrider#1 many years back. Suckers gave a 3-4 gram yield... Wasn't worth crap. But now they have been working with them and yields and quality are almost as good. I 'myself' never top a auto. I don't like wasting 3-4 days for a plant to recover from topping. Veg life is to short for them. I also like to start them in the finish pots. Give the tap root some room to do its thing.

Hey, you can flower auto's under your veg light in your veg while you veg regular photo plants. They don't need any 12/12 crap so you got alot of leeway.

Tead sure likes watching the unusual things.
I would have expected to see normal leaves by now if it were going to 'pull out of it'. It seems to be continuing to toss out the rounded leaves.
Fun!

this a special strain I have been working on to be grown out in the open and not look like weed.....NOT,,, just kidding guys.

I'm not sure whats up with this one Con. The two I've grown so far have had normal leaves.

Klone King has kept the Widow and WQ line going as a clone of clone for 8 years now and uses 24/0 since.
Maybe they are having a difficult time with the sun?

No more dreams about monster autos, eh?

Yeah I hear you. I've put these 2 into 6L air-pots and I'll outplant the other two. Hmm I was very enthusiastic, but I guess I have to face the reality. It's all about genetics and pouring nitrogen. Thx Bo :)

One thing I found unfounded so far is they're not really easily stressed and they don't give a shit about transplanting. Didn't skip a beat really... hmm I'd better focus on regular plants I think, although I'm still looking forward to how they're gonna turn out outdoor.

your rite bob those tall pots will help them get bigger i grow mine in 3 gal.plastic pot and like yours they get 12-22 in and i get anywhere between 3/4 -and 1 1/2 oz!

Not a lot! What was I thinking?

Yeah they're gonna be a on veg photoperiod with the other ones till they finish flower!

Yeah they'll go straight into the next run!

I think you have to consider what autos are best suited for to undertand their value. Small and quick to finish, they can be very stealthy. An average person might not even be able to identify some autos if they came across one because most people think of something larger. In some countries where you worry about getting caught, you keep a few good auto seeds, run a quick batch every once in a while and keep the risk of detection to an absolute minimum.

That's a good point, especially with the budsicles. I ran two little ones in 3 gallon pots and they yielded 33 grams between them. The tall one got to ... 16 inches? :hmmmm::D Nuthin' but bud, from top to bottom. If they had been tucked amongst some wild foliage, no one ever have noticed them there. They went 103 and 110 days, seed to chop.

Actually, the top bud from one of them was the Pineapple Express x Jock Horror that took NOTY. :slide:We smoked it in Jamaica in a ginormous blunt a foot long, with another 3 or 4 strains, like a roman candle, y'know? Damned thing started to fall apart though, and then the restaurant got a little snooty about it, (tsk, apparently some guests disapproved, go figure - um ... it's Jamaica ... ?) and we had to finish it on a patio to the side ...
:cough:
That was part of one night's samplings and entertainments. I vaguely remember some HB oath or something ... ? ... dunno, I was a little loaded at the time.

They are even using auto genetics to make these 'Fast" version of 'photo plants' or as they claim, They have a touch of auto in them so the harvest comes Sept 1st. . Or the super auto's. They picked the super autos for a slightly longer veg time to be able to bulk up before flowering. They take 4 months. I feel there is a time and place for autos. Outdoors in the spring I feel. But that's me. GL and Keepem Green

I'm with you. That one caught my eye as well.

It's almost impossible to evaluate a strain by growing small population due to genetic instability. In my experience you start knowing sth about the line if you saw at least 25 individuals and it's best to see both males and females. Otherwise it's a lottery!

I abandoned it and now is the time to use it again :)
