Is it possible to to clone a plant already in flower, (monster crop) and then spray to speed up the process some? Will it make any difference in turnaround time? Or possible complicate or hinder the transformation? I have never had issues with monster cropping although have only needed to do it when I decided last minute to keep a strain going. It takes a little while for them to re-veg and start producing normal leaves, but they eventually are fine and normal. I just figured that if the clone was already in bloom the transformation to male may be quicker than waiting for a normal bloom cycle after flipping. Maybe it's won't make a difference, but figured I would ask if anyone had any thoughts.

Do you mean cutting, rooting, and then spraying? What lighting schedule were you thinking of using during this process?
Keep in mind that STS spraying starts during veg.
I was thinking about the Alternate schedule B referred to in the post which says to start to spray the day you flip to flower. Was wondering if you can root a clone that already has female flowers and start spraying with a 12/12 light cycle as soon as it's established if it would speed up the process of reversal any. Again, just a thought. Just seemed logical to me that if the process was based on putting a plant into flower and spraying to reverse the sex, if the plant was already in flower that it might make it change more quickly.
On the first day of flip the plant is still in veg. I have no idea if you can use STS to reverse a plant already in flower (and staying in flower), which is what you're thinking of doing. Definitely report back here if you decide to give it a go!
That's fine, thanks for the input anyway. I may give it a shot and see what happens. To compare I will also use a couple of normal clones from one of my mother plants and see if there is any difference between the two. If I find anything interesting I will report back.
