Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

An actual volunteer other then me. So I will be  right along with you watching.

I don't look at it as tossing them out. I look at it as finding them a good home so I DON'T have to toss them out.

Sure, I toss most test germinations. These autos though happened along at the right time and will have a forever home.

Forever is right. Isn’t it just the case that these plants actually do have a forever life. They become part of us and our experience. I’m pretty high right now so come along with me here... :slide: thanks for saying “forever home” beez, it made me think of that and I’m glad I did. I just had my first toke of a MiG29 - an auto that is sold as G13 Haze x Ruderalis. It hits very strong and beautifully- I can hardly type and am very giggly. Off to browse :surf:

Good Lord, I'm old and have to sleep some time!! :meditate:

MY METHOD OF CLONING PART 2

So I finished planting the second cutting. Both went very well I believe. I'll know in 3 or 4 days when i start removing the dome for short periods. Here are both cuttings happy in their new homes.

After spraying the clear plastic (smaller) solo cups I flip them over and use them as domes. They fit perfectly inside the regular size solo cups. I don't spray the plant, just the inside of the domes.

And there you have it. I will leave the cuttings alone the rest of the day today and all day tomorrow. Next day I will tilt the domes making a crack to allow in fresh air. I'll do that for a couple days and then start weening the cuttings from under their domes. Once they are out from under the domes they are no longer cuttings, they are clones and will root.

Any questions whatsoever please feel free to ask. Comments welcome, and advice as to ways to do it better are appreciated. It's all about learning together.

Thanks Beez! Easy 2 follow too.

This is a link to the thread of a friend of mine @MrGreene . We have just started a project on his thread with each of us applying colloidal silver onto a branch on our respective plants in an attempt to produces some female pollen sacks and then some S1 feminized seeds. Come take a look if you've ever though about breeding your own seeds. He is attempting to reverse a Gelat.OG and my plant of choice is a Chemdawg plant from Humboldt Seed Organization.

Thank you so kindly for highlighting my inadequacies navigating the internet and more specifically this site. Perhaps when I have 22,000 messages I'll be more adept. :meditate:

Nope, had you not pointed It out to me I would have had no clue I had messed up. So thanks

The link is in my signature just in case. Things sure have changed for the better over the last couple years since I started that thread.

We started applying the colloidal silver yesterday. If Beez has a cosmic team watching over us like Sue does, then we should see plenty of seeds in a weeks. I'm excited to be trying my hand at making seeds.
