Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

Just checked in on the Colombian Gold girl. She is dry now but look at the leaves. You think there was a bit of pollen on her? LOL

I don't reckon that will hurt the plant do ya'll?

I just had the Quarter Pounder auto out of the tent to give her tonight's application of colloidal silver. While I had her out I thought I would try to put to use some training tips IntheShed teaches on his thread. I felt like I didn't want to bend her any further or she was going to break.

I failed to mention earlier that the auto flower plants I have in my little homemade grow box are at 16/8 lighting under a 450 watt LED light (200W from the wall) and it works well.

Thanks a lot!

I bent that Quarter Pounder over thinking it might force one of the branches I am treating with the colloidal silver to grow taller and give me a better shot at making pollen.

Just applied pollen to a couple of lower buds on my Columbian gold. It's the backup plan in case I don't get the colloidal silver right on the next one. It'll also potentially give us a cross of a different phenotype from the male. Let's hope I did it right.

Keeping fingers crossed

Hi all:)

I know that Beez is real excited about the autos I’m running this go and since a lot of my friends hang here, I’ll do the update in this journal and link it to my own;)

So first here they are together! I want to add a pic from Oct 20th right before flowering (this was transplant) day 17

Good Morning Newty! Your QPA and DDA have done a pretty fair amount of stretching since they started flowering. It's been over 18 months since I grew my QPA plant and what I remember is it seemed to stretch well into flowering. And it flowered for a long time for an auto strain. All your girls are looking very nice and healthy!

My Quarter Pounder auto was out of the tent this morning at lights on and had a liberal amount of colloidal silver applied to her three lowest branches which I am happy to say continue to grow giving me more nodes to paint with the CS. I may get pollen from this girl yet.

With any luck she will hold off starting to flower for another several days. She is like a preemie baby at this point. Each day she delays the start of flowering the more my chances of producing pollen increases. Or at least in my mind anyway.
