Closet Farming With Barney's Gorilla Zkittlez, G13 Haze, Triple Cheese & More

Someone rescue Mocha!
New guy don't give a crap, you censorship Nazis. Lol.

Got some interesting personalities joining a forum lately. Give them rope......

Were there people barfing in terror? I would have.
Prolly not good when wearing those mask thingies.
Hi VG! :ciao:

Lol, I guess it wasn’t that bad since the bags didn’t pop down. It was over pretty quickly after the drop. By the time the shock wore off, we were on the ground. The eerie thing of it was how silent everyone was. The next flight I was on, I was a white knuckled mess every time there was turbulence. The saving grace was a little girl who was laughing like it was a carnival ride. That little girl’s laughter helped me so much that day.
We get wicked storms. They shake the whole house and last time , they set off car alarms.
I was standing outside watching the hair on my arms stand up from the electricity in the air.
Then I decided to get my arse inside. Huge lightening storm for three hours that night, lots of trees down.
Time - to - move! Somewhere with at least medical would be great to boot!

Did I miss something again???
Not really. Just a new member learning the ropes and being reminded of forum rules about posting pics and outside links. He didn't like that much from what I gathered.

Hey 420 family. Hope you are all well and your plants are being well behaved angels. Mine finally seem like they are, only minor concerns at this point.
I'll start off with my favorite little cutie, the zombie blue shark. She's really connected with the soil and is catching up quickly. Pretty proud to bring her back, she was 95% dead. I have been known to be very stubborn and in this case it helped for once.
I transplanted the G13 Haze and the CBD Blue Shark into one gallon pots today, neither were root bound but I felt it was time as they were dying their cups in two days. Nice white feathery roots on these girls. They will be topped as soon as tomorrow if they look ready for it.

Then we have the Gorilla Zkittlez right after a leaf tucking session. She's ready to put into her final pot very soon. I'll probably wait a bit if I can. If she starts to show signs of stress I will act accordingly.
Any ideas on how to slow her down without stressing her to much? I need the other two to catch up. Lol.
She does have a slightly purple hue to her. Not sure if that is genetics or not.

:bravo:

If it's just the main colas that are getting out of hand then a simple supercrop will work. You can also use paper clips as a hook and hang a small weight(not too heavy but enough to pull the stems down a bit). Short of a scrog net there's not much else you can do as long as they are in the same tent.

Do you have room to train her outward? Penny taught me to pinch the stems to slow them down, but that was more for stretch (I was running out of head room).

Hey y'all.
I had to cut the GZ out of her pot today. That was not very fun and it will be the last time that I'm doing that. I lost two leaves and its fair to say that her root ball has been roughed up a fair bit.
It's getting harder and harder to tell these two apart. They seem happy enough. They will get a small increase in their feed soon.

Why?

Meaning the pot u used, or??

I actually had a post typed up mentioning not up-potting yet to slow her down a bit,
but ....nevermind:)
She looks happy in her new home, though!
No sliding out of that old pot with those "grooves" in it,so I see why it was a pita
and the "handle" indents

Yeah, the pot handles sucked eggs. I didn't have anything else around to put her in at the time. My neighbor had borrowed all of my pots until this morning.

I'm thinking about adding a tomato cage...... now would be the time. I may have to cut one down, mine are pretty tall... do I have anything to cut through thick wire? That's the question.

If you've got a hammer and a sharp chisel in the workshop, that'll do it-or just some good diagonal cutters-that tomato cage wire is pretty soft stuff...
If you use the hammer and chisel,be sure to wear eye protection...
You don't want to have to relate the story of "How I put my eye out with a tomato cage";)

I found a hack saw. I'll be back shortly with less fingers.

I should know better than to tempt fate by now. That little finger joke almost became a reality. I wouldn't have cut my finger off but it sure would have hurt. Near miss.... Yowza!

Here she is in her new canopy ring. I need to bend it a bit so it will fit more snug. I'll make Mr.Ground do that. He has much stronger ( and sexier ) hands. The guy should be a hand model, seriously.

Thanks John. Hopefully it will help reign in the ladies , they tend to get tangled with three of them in a 2x4 tent.
