Clones from Kind above the cut?

Hi Sativa 1970. Point taken. We must humbly acknowledge being novices at PR. Didn’t mean to offend anyone from the community we respect. To be clear though, we have been growing and smoking for over 30 years, have worked in the hydroponic industry sector (when it was still alive) for more than five of those years including with the Advanced Nutrients team and Dr Hornby back in the day when he developed the original Big Bud using L-aminos rather then the traditional N-P-K with high P and K…so just saying… with all due respect, we are the real deal. Not sure why none of the other clone providers haven’t tapped into the combination of using moderate amounts of IBA but relying primarily on the organics to do the « heavy lifting » of getting the cuttings to create more and healthier roots, while keeping the clones themselves much healthier and robust… honestly, we don’t know. But if you spend some time on our site, we hope you’ll see that we’re trying to change our approach and methodology so that our clients, and perhaps eventually some other clone providers, can replicate the model so that we can all be growing healthier, more organic plants! As an example of our open process and knowledge sharing, on our site we refer to the fact that our clones are pre-inoculated with beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae but we also provide the source for these and links to all of our suppliers: www.dynomyco.com, www.oathsoillife.com, m

Open to sponsoring guys… trust building too. 😁 All good! Just getting started on this forum.
What can one do to « show the juice » ?

Having just created the account an hour before the new OPs question, you are not familiar with the crowd. You had no idea what hornets nest you were stepping on. Young cocky know it all's are not appreciated on here, and that was how you were coming off. I apologize for misreading you. 30 years is enough to know what you are doing but still less experience than quite a few of us on here.

Thanks for the offer on the discount but most new genetics I grow are ones claiming to be heritage or land strain. Authenticating and comparing phenome to my collection dating back to the 60s.

I was wondering where they are located since it is not mentioned in their Contact page.

Near as I can figure is that it might be Canada. Which, if it is, then how do they get clones across the borders into the US where most of the users on this message board seem to be located.
We wish we could ship outside Canada! No plans for that.

Thanks Sativa 1970! If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s to respect our elders!🙏🏻 I’m sure we would have a lot to learn from you and other master growers on this forum. Perhaps others can learn a little from us too😉 Respect the heritage land strains! Without them, we wouldn’t have all the crazy hybrids available today… We are passionate about our product and actually launched the business after having paid top dollar for Breeder Cuts from the most reputable sources we could find, only to be disappointed upon receiving our babies with one little tiny root. The experience made us think: we can do better than this! Through our TLC and with the much needed help from our thousands of red wigglers worms, we nurtured these cultivars in our living soil for many months to boost their BRIX value and get them strong. Once we had vigorous, super healthy and robust mothers, we perfected our cloning methodology which is ALL organic except for a very small amount of IBA to initiate rooting. The end result is strong and vigorous clones with crowns of circling and intertwined roots rather then what we had experienced with the one little tiny root piercing the medium. The next step was setting up our online presence and establishing our pricing model. Being the newer kid on the block, we basically decided to charge exactly what we paid ourselves for the Breeder Cuts, minus the taxes and shipping fee (over $40 when we ordered). We try to operate with honesty, integrity and professionalism. In retrospect, we should probably have taken photos of the clones we purchased to now be able to show a side-by-side comparison with our own, but not knowing at the time that we would be launching this adventure, we didn’t think of doing that. We certainly appreciate all the constructive feedback we can receive on this Forum! ✌️

Sorry Roy! ✌️ We are sayin’ the truth about the clones though! 🙂

few things i see right off the bat:

they are operating in a legal grey area still. they are not a gov't licensed or approved business. everything is shipped as a "gift", which is supposed to only be between two non-commercial entities by law. how long they can operate this way and any possible legal jeopardy it may put you in is up for debate.

i would be cautious of the level of customer support considering the legal implications.

it will also depend where you live. they only ship in canada. rest of the world is off limits. it would be illegal to ship over a border, unlike seeds. they are also restricted from shipping to some cdn provinces.

prices are crazy. they are charging $250 - $300 for two clones. so not worth it. the amount of fem seed you can get for that seriously outweighs their value proposition. 2 local greenhouses sell cannabis clones for a few dollars each in spring.

there's no way to tell if their practices are actually organic. also no way to tell from the clone you receive either. let's say that it is legit: then why operate as an underground "gift" business instead of going full legal.

selection is limited and look to be in-house strains. unproven in the marketplace, but you may find other info on those strains.

there's no way to ensure the clones don't carry pests. biggest issue with any clone is what arrives with it.

if their strains were absolutely proven or legendary, and the service as they claim it may be worth your time. i would seriously wait for more info on them.

We are committed to being a reliable and trustworthy source for Canadian home growers looking for clones that are:

1) Breeder Cuts of world-class genetics;

2) Insect and disease free;

3) Cut exclusively from 100% organic living soil grown mother plants.

Now that Canadians have the liberty to cultivate up to four recreational cannabis plants per household (or 400+ with a medicinal license), many enthusiasts would love to have their own purely organic harvest but lack the knowledge to kickstart the process. At Kind Above the Cut, we guide all clients comprehensively through their organic cultivation journey, ensuring novices have the optimal conditions for a successful harvest.

With extensive experience in the hydroponic industry and cultivating cannabis in Promix and various hydroponic systems for many years, we made a decisive shift to 100% no-till organic cultivation in living soil a few years ago. This transition positions us perfectly to assist fellow growers in making the switch to what is, in our humble opinion, a superior method of cultivation. Why should you want to switch? Three words: quality, quality, quality. After all, who wouldn't aspire to optimize the potential of cherished genetics and cultivate the finest cannabis possible?

We have the expertise and knowhow to help growers produce the most potent and flavourful organic buds they have ever smoked, period. Sharing top tier genetics is just the start – our incredibly knowledgeable team offers full consultancy services to get you up and growing some the best organic weed in the World in less time than it will take you to spell Tetrahydrocannabinol (AKA: THC)!

We can help you:
• With the initial setup of your grow room.
• With your equipment needs.
• With step-by-step instructions to grow 100% organic in Living Soil.
• Find all the products you will need for growing this way.
• Find beneficial, predatory insects for natural pest control.
• Acquiring the best genetics.
• Identify various pests and diseases than can harm your plants.

We understand the frustration of investing 2-4 months in a growth cycle, only to face complications leading to a failed harvest. To mitigate this, we conduct weekly phone/video consultations to assess plants and provide feedback. For local cultivators in Canada’s National Capital Region, we offer site visits and hands-on training.

For those with more advanced skills, we tailor an approach to enhance their overall cultivation abilities while helping them navigate the shift towards 100% organic no-till growing in living soil.

We certainly appreciate all the constructive feedback we can receive on this Forum! ✌️

@bluter @Sativa1970 @Bill284 I got in touch with these guys to ask about the business model (ie consulting and gifting). They are indeed operating in a loop hole that I understand now, related to what’s legal in Canada specifically.

They offered me a 20% rebate as a first time customer and I decided to go for it. Will post some pictures of the clones when I receive them and as they grow. Not quite as good as keeping a grow journal I know - but I have never been very good at taking notes 🤷🏻‍♂️. One day maybe.
