Chrome's 'Just Mess'in Around' CFL + Bag Seed Grow

Hey thanks guys. But to be honest it maybe mostly just hopeful wishing. The preflowers are so tiny its hard to really say anything at all. It looks like on MB and Leela the preflowers may or may not have pistils. They look like prepistil-preflowers. Though KB def has itty bitty balls..

I decided to just say F it and put the bitches into flowering. Went down to lowes bought a timer and 2700k 23watt CFLs. It will be set to run Noon to Midnight. Wish me luck!

Even of i got all males its not fore waste. I have gotten use to the routine of growing, got some shit together to grow with, I am still going to proceed with planed upgrade. Its not like I'm not gonna keep growing. Though I don't have any more seeds. I will though..
 
Im opposite hours to you and finding it frustrating haha i.e dark from noon till midnite, figured it be better once it gets real hot here.

I know what you mean about those tiny stalky things, I had no experience so wasn't sure if those were the pre flower things, turned out they were and was lucky that the female seeds were indeed all females. I hope I dont ever gain experience of the male genitalia haha

Yeah me too.. If they are dudes it wont be my first time exp males. Still no definitive sign either way. Hopefully another day and they will be showing one way or another for sure. Or both. I dont care if they end up being hermies. I'll just keep the sacks under control. That would be better than all males...
 
Noon to midnight? Might want to run the lights at night to take advantage of cooler ambient air temp and possibly a discount on your utility bill. I run mine from late evening (7-8PM) to early morning (7-8AM) and the temps in the wee hours of the morning are noticeably effected by the cooler air, 1-5F depending on how cool I let it get before I decide I'm freezing and have to close a window or bump the heater up a tad.
 
Temps wont be an issue till July and I'll be harvesting then. I hope. still no clear sign one way or another. My plants seem to have shifted all production to roots. I'm going to have to transplant they are sticking out of the bottom of the pot. the preflowers still as though they could go either way.. Its frustrating, always is for me. you watch and wait, wait and watch. then finally when your all but to go insane they show..
 
They are on day 2 of flower already... I have the preflowers but they are tiny, they are pre-preflowers. hahaha i think i see the signs of pistil shooting up though. MB and leela have very distinctive female, pear shaped preflowers. KB is hard to read.

I can tell ya the smaller containers really limited my plants. I have re-potted twice now because of roots coming out and dying. So you should be good now.

I feel ya on the pre-flowers, going through the same thing, but I couldnt stand it so I had to buy a loupe. :grinjoint:

Looking good though, and congrats on the confirmed ladies.
 
Yeah for that amount of lights..Them leaves look THICK and BUSHY,

Can`t wait to see them Flowers starting to spread for ya...KEWL
 
illest:Yeah I was nervous during the transplant, mostly cause i had less dirt on hand than i thought and had to run to the store mid way threw.D'oh. But they recovered nicely and are now back to their old selves. In fact they have started to stretch!

jacobharry: thank you, I have yet to really tap the potential of my space. I have an upgrade in the works. should happen mid to late next week. (said that before, haha)

Hogs: thanks for stopping by. Yeah people dont give them CFLs their due respect. they re bushing out and filling in nicely. They are about 16 inches right now and I expect them to hit about 20 inches. I just wish they would hurry up and show their sex. I am now about 80 sure they are all hermies... this changes daily.. hahaha

Ms Fox: Tank you for stopping by as well. If my batteries in my camera I would post some of them now that they are readjusted after the transplant. they look soo happy.
 
Hey chrome man, nice CFL job, i too grow with CFL. 2, 85w. one 27k and the other 65k. Im subscribed now, you should check my journal out sometime, i gotta update that shi soon though, and i also like how you have the "half ass" point of view, i feel like you will do better with that state of mind, not worrying constant and etc, not the mention im sure you are learnin a semester worth of info! lol jk well,
