I got the rectangular one - I think they call it "The Original". It's supposed to be able to fit 2 tomato plants. I got two boxes, so maybe one will grow tomatoes and the other can grow cannabis.

Those look nice and big for that. It's different Beez. let's see how this one flowers. I haven't given this soil any help at all yet. I haven't even looked under the hood. I'm kind of seeing how the soil holds up to it. Just some mag def so far and not much. One spot that could look like cal def but I don't think so. 12/12 today!Let her be free!

Happy 12/12 day! Gotta love using 1/3 less electricity and watching your young lady become a beautiful woman! Its' a Win-Win!
Are you going to replace the net at some point while they're in flower or go without the rest of the way?

Damn Those boxes are $$$$ 129.00 for 3 . Beez are you thinking of starting seed right in the box or germ. them and replant ?? Thinking the same here for 2-3 but will need to build my own . I usually start my seed inside and grow 2.5 months then trans plant .
Or you can easily build your own for $10-15(US).

I've seen them built using screen and dowels through a recycle bin/commercial fish box years ago. I'd think working the screen to create a couple of wet feet wouldn't be too much trouble. It's a simple rig to build.
I built one for a little over $2.00, and....it actually works!
You really find out just how much water a cannabis plant can use when there's an unlimited supply- they're some thirsty girls!

POLLEN CHUCKING AND FLOWERING UPDATE
Good morning! Well my man got to feeling alright today and opened up his pods for us!
Cherries DubeLee male with open sacs.
I take a clean mirror and tap them with a small wood skewer to drop pollen onto it. I'm going to take a razor blade and collect it and store it in a small glass jar with a dryer thingy in it.
When 3 weeks into flower come I'll dust a single bud with it to make some seeds. It'll be handy for the @Herbies Seeds ladies next door a little later. Ya never know what can happen!
So here she is getting comfortable a couple days into flower. I gave her 2ml cal/mag today. Down the hole.
So I drew some water from the SIP today, mostly as I forgot to add the cal/mag and she was full, and I got a chance to sniff the SIP rez water. It smelled like nature. Not like I mixed up nature in a bucket "stinky nature", but a firm something natural is happening here wiff. It was pretty clear as well. I'm hoping she finds everything she needs. I like this rigs concept and the way it grows what looks like a strong plant!
