ChemDawg D BX 3

Notes: My 12 young plants started the light stressing regiment today. I have one clone that's not doing well in veg, and another that's in flower (in the mother's pot). I fed both larger CDDBX3 clones yesterday (1 tsp. 0-7-0- Super Swell, 1 Tbsp. molasses). The oldest gets the chop in 10 days. I should get some weed off it too; it looks thick :)

Very descriptive & easy to follow. :nicethread: Chimp, you've broaden my horizons in less than 1/2 hr. This place is a non-stop learning machine.

My eyes look like a Chinese road map 24/7 every day, CHH :tokin:

These 12 young plants got over the almost frozen thing and are doing better:

This is the 3rd full day of 12/12 - first week of light stressing. I expect to know the true sex of all of these a few days prior to the 3 week mark (same as last time), at which point the hermies will get tossed, the females will get topped but stay where they're at for now, and the males will get culled except Dad who will get trimmed down. Tomorrow when lights come on it will be to 24/0 for 3 more days and back over to 12/12. I have my eye on a few plants that have a thick stalk and even branching. The leaves are thinner bladed like I wanted too :)

:peace:

It'll backfire on me but thanks and Happy ChimpsaDayLate to you too! :)
Update: I switched all 12 young Chem D plants to 24/0 this morning. I'll be topping them as soon as I see sex (I want to see the plant whole before I pick the parents). I'll give them a feeding of AN Iguana Grow as soon as the soil dries.
The oldest Chemdawg D BX 3 clone into flower is popping its last hairs, so it may go longer than this Friday. I'll wait until everything is browned up 'cause after almost 3 years of learning this, I see that the key thing to proper harvest timing is making sure YOU GOT WEED!!!!!
The second one in flower is looking almost as good, and has about 3 weeks left; I'll post pics of it soon.

:peace:

You too I think the trichomes are cloudy on this one I got no dope..... :)

On a serious note, 10 out of 12 of the young plants I'm growing to breed out are showing this leaf mutation (double-tipped edges; I'll research the subject)

, so the parents may be picked solely for the reason they're not off genetically. That's one of the big problems with small breeding projects. I wish I had 8 or 9 of the normal plants to choose from instead of 2. This is the second day of 24/0 in the first of 3 weeks of light stressing; no signs of sex yet.

Half my current garden is chemdawg D hehe. Cant go wrong with that strain. Easy to grow, dank as hell, good yields, my only complaint is it can be semi fluffy, especially the bottom nugs.
