ChemDawg D BX 3

Damn the lowest high/low thermometer reading was 38 degrees F in this grow unit during the cold spell! Just about wasted the seedlings for this grow! :(

I rearranged quite a few plants because of this, and these went under the 200 watt CFL I had my Chocolope and WW IBL under before. They should pull out, but I'm guessing I'm about 2 weeks set back on this project.

:peace:

wow really cold temps your gotta work through good vibes to you man
Happy Freeweed day and have a Chronic Weekend Pc :thumb:

Thanks Cronichemphog they're already looking 100% improved (with the exception of some lower leaves; as you can see in that last pic, they're beyond help). They uncurled about 4 or 5 hours after the unit change. I'll post a pic of these recovering seedlings soon. Meanwhile, here's a pic of one of my Chemdawg D BX 3 clones about 6 weeks into flower (under a 400 watt HPS):

Here's another one about 2 or 3 weeks behind it:

I've got a little clone of it too, but it's not going strong yet.

Post more pics later, :peace:

Hey what's up Jimmycricket? As you can see, a lot is on my end. Bringing a Bubba Kush grow to an end, A few GDPs too. I've got Chocolope, Tangerine Dream, and WW just starting 12/12. And this Chem D grow is just starting veg. I'll have a flowered out clone of the original Chem D BX 3 to compare my work to this time (unless I kill it) :)

:peace:

"You too", said the day late and dollar short PotChimp. :)

Notes: I fed my Chemdawg D BX 3 clone that's further into flower. I used molasses and 1/2 of each of the recommended dosage for Super Swell and desert bat guano. This clone is looking N deficient, but fatter than anything I've grown so far. I put the other clone that is in flower behind this one in a super soil mix, so it got some GWS, molasses, and hygrozyme last night. And the 12 seedlings are getting bigger now that they are in warm conditions again. I'll feed them AN Iguana and AN's organic additives and probably keep them in a soilless medium.

Here's the plant from the striped and more Indica in appearance seed I picked (and marked):

The leaves are wider and have rounded tips on the leaf margins. Here's a more likely parent candidate to me. Putting aside the damage from the extreme cold, the leaves have sharper tips on the leaf margins and are narrower. Maybe there is something to this seed appearance thing. And the branching is more even:

This is definitely NOT a parent candidate. Alternating branches, odd mutated leaves; gonna be interesting to watch grow but no Mom or Pop here:

I know it's too early to pick yet, but I see some variation in these. Not sure if I like the variety to choose from or worried I have more generations to stabilize it. We'll see.....

:peace:

Man I got at least two weeks before I start the light stressing routine on these. The Chemdawg D BX 3 clone I have furthest into flower is looking good, except the N deficiency in the leaves. I think I may get the highest yield yet from a single plant on this one. The other clone is looking nice too and in the same cold unit I took the dying seedlings from, but bigger plants can take the cold better and the higher wattage light keeps the room warmer. I run the light cycle at night to counteract the coldest part of the 24 hour period.
I looked at the seedlings today and as they get older the variation is starting to become less, but still noticeable. I may be closer to stability than I thought.....

Howdy PC, looks like things are going well, I managed to get my hands on a single seed of a super snowdawg came from an accidental pollination from the breeder (chemdawg) a friend who has the original clone only cut,it's supposed to be a rare chem pheno, crossed to superskunk Oregon snow, I sure hope it pops!

Man I'd love to have some good inside genetics to work with :circle-of-love:
Gonna have to pollinate my Katsu cut Bubba with a colloidal silvered Pre '98 Bubba and make my own, I guess..... :)
My .9999 certified colloidal silver got here the other day, and as soon as I get these revegs to toss a branch big enough to clone I'll be putting together a battery generator to make some (I saw your thread on making one; if you see a flaming chimp flying through the sky that means I hooked the battery terminals up wrong and crossed the polarities that's not the Silver Surfer).

:peace:

lol that's some funny shit
but if your using those 9v batteries in series you cant get it wrong it wont connect the wrong way

I'll just plug all the terminals together on (3) 9v batteries and turn the upside down ones around so they're next to each other then put a normal 9v connector on, one side to the positive terminal of upside down battery "A" and the other side to the negative terminal of upside down battery "C" (battery "B" being the right side up one). Wire two alligator clips to the wires, suspend them above distilled water with a piece of silver wire on each one going into the water. I'll use my TDS meter to check it until it gets to 50 PPM, and voila! Easy as BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JK ;)

Don't they make a big 9v battery with screw on terminals?

no it be 9 volts parallel, series is like when you put it in a flashlight pos to neg in a row is which you want to do
that's how the 9v batteries will connect and only will connect that way in a series
battery to battery that is if you dont wire all yourself it could go parallel lol
parallel being pos to pos and neg to neg
hope that makes sense
