Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

Will do. Penny, what would you say stardog’s Sativa:indica ratio is? I’ve been smoking more cookies n chem and after enjoying the star pupil for so long it’s clear that the CnC is more of a high than a stone.

Your NL is still flowering at 63 days post flip? I harvested mine at 49 days post flip and she was very ready.

Yeah she is!
Was that NL Youre talking about the sensi x nirvana cross like mine? Maybe she’s ready but I can’t scope a good shot of her trichomes. Every shot I’ve taken looks like only clear/cloudy. No amber

Today is day 60 post flip.

her branches are starting to lean though

edit; is it possible the light in my tent is washing out the true color of the resin heads?

I finally got my Seedsman order in the mail today. I guess 27 days isn't too long right? I looked the 7 seeds in the pack over and it looks like I got 6 good ones and one that probably won't sprout. This will be my summer of 2020 auto flower strain that I run to make S1 seeds. It is from Dutch Passion and the strain is Colorado Cookies auto fems. I already picked out my favorite one and have it in a hempy solo cup in 1/4 strength nutes with a little mycorrhizae in the mix. Her pot got filled and moistened today too. With luck she'll sprout here in 2-3 days and be in her forever home by day 5. Pretty sure the pot I had on hand is 15 gallons.

I will say, in the last 3-4 days I’ve noticed a considerable uptick in the intensity of the smell coming from the tent. Sometimes I’ll leave the zipper cracked just for better ventilation, and the last couple days the house has been really smelly coming home. Nah 27 days isn’t too long, I think mine was over 30.

Oh Hell! I keep forgetting you're growing the NL X NL cross. I'm referring to the Sensi NL I grew which was a fast plant.

I say you're in the window. Snip yourself off a small top-ish bud, let it dry for three days and smoke it and see what you've got. Sure, check the trichromes after you snip it off.

Bear in mind that NL is a fast finishing strain. Pretty sure Nirvana shows theirs in the 7-8 week range.

Here she is right now,
This cola is the one on the left a little bit up from the middle.

Well, if I were a grower who made my decision when to harvest based on the pistil color I would say she isn't ready yet. That is why I make my harvest decision based on the color of the trichromes. I've harvested plant with 90% milky and 10% mixed clear/amber crystals and the pistils on that plant were about half orange/brown and half white. Some strains will continue to put out new pistils till the very end.

If she is still drinking as much as she has been all along then she's not finished. But consider taking a bud from near the top, right below the canopy and dry it and see how it smokes.

I did just that, it’s washed and hanging.

I did the same thing for the star pupil. When I checked her trichomes they looked perfect for the pickin and this nug was decently deep into the canopy. The Star Pupil is coming down as you read this.

That’s as upright as I could get her  :goof:

Star Pupil Harvest
well she’s down. I just took off her fan leaves and chopped off each cola. Now im gonna wash and dry her to go in the fridge.

That Star Pupil looks yummy!

Phew! I have finally read through all of your journal and actually know what is going on now. It is good to see all you have going on.

There is a LOT of competition in the cannabis industry. Fledgling companies trying to get their foot in the door. So a breeder approaches a brand new lab to "feel" them out. Wanting to get their business off the ground it is possible that in exchange for their repeat business and positive word of mouth advertising a lab might be inclined to scratch out the 15.6% THC level a strain tested at and change that number to 21.8%. The breeder/dispensary is of course happy and the new lab is happy to have picked up a new repeat customer. This scenario is not uncommon. Do the research. There are labs that don't do this of course, but how does the average Joe know which do and which do not?

There is one lab in Cali that has been called out for doing just this. They were putting out artificially inflated numbers. you are right though that without doing research on it how is one to know.

And trust me, if a breeder can get a lab result printout stating that their strain XXX runs a THC level of 21.3% as opposed to 15.8% which do you think they'll use? Which would you be more inclined to purchased based on the lab results?

This is the one thing I dislike about seeing a single analysis being used by breeders. It is just like their descriptions. they will always use the best one. Most breeders do not even mention multiple phenos or what your chances are of getting each. One of the things I really liked about Dynasty was that with their core strains they gave a great break down. I will say with MMS they have a strain that was testing at 31%, they put out a challenge saying that if anyone could beat that number with their strain they would give them free seeds. It is a win win for them. They get people buying and running their seeds to try and beat that number, when they do more people will buy them because of those numbers and they have a happy customer for getting free seeds. Of course they will always mention that one test that came back at 32-33% when they try to sell the seeds.

Very nice looking pull bud!
Thanks for catching up TGY! She’s looking really delicious. As you saw this girl was a reveg, I’m thinking she’s going to triple her previous harvest. She came in at 578g wet. Using Emilya’s formula of .9W/4=D my Dry weight should be around 130g, or 4.6oz.

too bad she flopped over. I might have tried for round 2  :bongrip:

That Star Pupil looks yummy!
Thanks Beez! She looks even better than the first run!(by far)

4.5 ounces is a solid yield in my opinion. Even better that you already harvested he ronce. I know a guy that used to "winter" plants from his outdoor grow and run them a second season after taking cuts off of them to fill the rest of the garden with. He had a fairly decent success rate doing it. Do you follow PotChimp's journals? He is a reveg master. I wish I had known about revegging when I failed to take clones off of the Grand Daddy Purps I ran years ago.

Using my formula I figure you will come up with 114 g dry

I have not followed PotChimps journals. I’ll have to check it out. That’s exactly why I revegged this girl. I never got a cutting off of her the first time around. Now she’s given me a second harvest and I’ve taken like 20 clones off of the bonsai mom I have of her.

Just over 4oz of Star pupil. I’ll take it! NL should easily break 6 in that case. I might get close to an lb on this run.
