all caught up chef nice buds you got going on there I think the cnc is my fav :) it looks like they faired your light program you take some nice pics to its always a pleasure one of these days ill get a macro lens for those close ups there cool ill take a close up then put it on the laptop and zoom it in to look at the trichs but it never looks like those taken with a macro.:smokin2:

Bud porn fridays! Nice!

Foxtailing.....this is usually unwanted? I think my one is also starting to foxtail, and ive read the greenplanet massive nutrient is known for foxtailing

Some very nice looking buddage bud! In the past I have handed clones to friends to try and get them to hold onto it until I wanted it back. Every time they dropped it before I could get it back from them. they always offer it back but I am never ready.
Thanks TGY! I’m hoping I can convince one or two of my buddies to just hold a bonsai mom so she takes up almost no space. I’m thinking if either one of them actually runs a clone through flower, they’ll want to hold onto it for along time.

Looking beautiful Chef, thanks for giving the time shift a try.
Thanks Otter and you’re welcome! I think it’s interesting and definitely viable. I hope I can help more people get comfortable trying different flower light cycles.

Thanks for checkin it out Sticky! The one CnC cola is burning up her leaves cause she’s so close to the cobs, but there’s nothing I can do for her til the star pupil comes out of the tent. Even then I don’t know if there will be much to do, cause I’ve got my Sour Bubba itching to flower out.

I believe foxtailing is either 1) common in the genetics of Narrow leaf varieties or 2) the result of very high light during late flower. She’s putting out more surface area to take advantage of all that extra light. Hopefully all those ‘tails just fill out to monster colas.
Looking good Chef. Thank you for taking the chance and the time to do the experiment. :high-five: :thumb:
Thanks PC! Maybe you could give it a go too next time around, see what you think.

So I finally got around to getting more soil. Picked up a 3.8 bale of pro mix for 30 bucks. Seems like a great deal.

I’ll probably end up turning 3cuft of it into TLO. Figure with perlite and EWC should make about 6cuft of super soil. For me, that’s a loooooot of soil.

i up potted my sour bubba and cleaned her up real strict like. She’s got a week until she’s in flower... actually maybe more by the looks of the flower tent.

i trained her tops again in search of that flat canopy. We’ll see how (un)even she looks tomorrow.

That's some interesting looking training @ChefDGreen. Looks like you kinda' got her going in a spiral if I'm seeing it right!

Looking good Chef- As @Grand Daddy Black said-interesting training on that one-should end up with a nice flat canopy!

That’s what I’m hoping Carcass. I gotta let the tops reach up again and see where I’m at before I adjust the tie downs again.

Well basically, she was stuck in a box with no where upward to grow. I had to do something so I started wrapping her around her pot. Now that she’s got space I’ve spread her tops out more.
I’d let her go a little longer before flipping. With the Bubba genetics it’ll pay off with bigger yield.
You think I should let her get bushy again then Penny?

What Penny said!

Just personal preference but that would be the way I would go if I have the space.
By the looks of the flowering girls she’s got plenty of time before a spot opens up. We’re coming up on flip+63 and they’re not really showing too many signs of being completely ripe.

Well, if it looks like one of the finishing girls is coming down before the SB has come back around then I could always throw the NL clone that’s ready to flower in there. She’ll just need to go into a 5 gallon pot.
