Rest buddy and take care of yourselfMy Absence:
I thought I'd share with everyone... I've had Covid for the last 2 weeks. I'm much better now, but the 1st week was rough. I'm getting stronger each day now and look forward to catching up on things here when I can.

Oh man! I need a good weekend! Thanx dude!Take care of yourself buddy. Glad you're on the upswing. Have a good weekend!!
Thank you. It never got into my lungs like it has for so many others. Happy for that! And I'm feeling stronger, day by day.Glad you're feeling better, and I do not like what I have heard about Covid. I had it twice last year and it was not that bad but this one can be worst.
Covid is no joke buddy, glad your feeling better.Me too! Believe me... me too!

I want to say a big heart felt thank you to all of you for your support (@Lerugged , @Gee64 , @InTheShed , @Bill284 , @Scottay , @KeithLemon ). Even though we've never met IRL, it still means a lot! Honestly!

Well thank you!I'm so glad you're back to complaining about the plants again!
I attribute this to all of the wonderful microbes in my soil.I'd say they look amazing considering the neglect.
My observations and experiences agree with you, completely.MSA won't help you now (it's never made my branches hold up the buds and I veg and stretch at 50ppm).
I'm hoping this is true.Droopy Wild Lady has a classic sativa look to me, and some of them droop as part of the type.
No, not at all. Perky in the morning (8am), droopy from about 10am and on throughout the day, and slowly perking back up as both the temps and sun go down, after 6pm... no matter what I've tried. Funny thing: it's been well into triple digits earlier in the season (July & early Aug) all with good responses to MSA. Just not anymore, even with lower temps... puzzling.Do the leaves look the same at 8am, noon, and 6pm?
That's the thing... I poke my finger into her soil and the root ball is dense all the way around. Perhaps even more so than any of the others in my garden. There is nothing in the surrounding area that can hinder her root system, just open ground.Covid is no joke buddy, glad your feeling better.
Anything different with the wild lady? Soil or anything?
Is it possible something has reduced her root size? Proximity to something?
Garden is stellar buddy
With no wheels, it's difficult to go anywhere right now... and I've basically worn out any favors from my neighbors/friends just getting groceries and other essentials. So, it's just me and my dog for the holiday weekend.Sny plans for the long weekend?

I'm guessing it just doesn't like the heat of the day, which means that's one less thing for you to worry about!Perky in the morning (8am), droopy from about 10am and on throughout the day, and slowly perking back up as both the temps and sun go down, after 6pm.
Was she rootbound in her old pot? That's the thing... I poke my finger into her soil and the root ball is dense all the way around. Perhaps even more so than any of the others in my garden. There is nothing in the surrounding area that can hinder her root system, just open ground.

Hmm... OK. So, what do you think the odds are of her going "nanners" or "hermie" because of this stress?I'm guessing it just doesn't like the heat of the day, which means that's one less thing for you to worry about!
No. Not at all. As I inspect the ground beneath her now, I find that her roots have filled the potting soil (in the ground) really well. More so than the others. Was she rootbound in her old pot?

Here's some pics during the heat of the day:Do the leaves look the same at 8am, noon, and 6pm?
Yes. If I water mid-morning (ish) she'll "perk right up". But!!! The soil is more than plenty moist, not soggy, and the very next day she's back to her drooping, even with more than enough moisture in soil. (I wiggle my finger into soil to feel for moisture.) All others go for days withOUT any water and are doing quite well. Puzzling. To me at least...Do they perk right up when you water.
No. I never do that... LOLIs she still in a pot in the ground,
Yes, that's exactly what that is. Good eye!or is that just lawn edging around her?
Good call ! Perhaps it's a continuation of what I posted here.It looks like her roots are overheating.
Thank you for your input here. This has triggered my memory. I'm going to expand the circumference of that lawn edging and cover the ground with more of the mulch. It helped before, maybe it just needs to be larger. Hopefully, this will cool her down. It sure seems odd that a cultivar from such a hot region would need such TLC from the heat. Oh well...Maybe try a white sheet around her legs and see if you can keep the sun off her feet?
No, not at all... And your Q's helped me to realize this!I see her feet in the shade in the pictures, do they stay in the shade all day long?
