Been watching noob..looks like ur learning alot with the scrog..
I done it once..never again..way to much freakin work for what you get out of it.
which in my opinion isn't much..you want to lower some branches out to even your canopy. .break it and ur done.go have a beer..
Total pain..cant move anything..trimming ..watering.ect ect...but I'm sure you know that. Lol

Man, this scrog. It's coming down next weekend. It worked great for the time I had it in there and it did exactly what I wanted it to do, control the stretch a bit and even out the canopy. When I take this sucker down, my problems will be holding up the fat buds. Cheers old school

Welcome CCOiler. If I had more space, I think I might get myself in trouble with all the huge plants I would grow. They have those silly plant counts here so I figured I would keep my numbers down but growing some big ass plants.

She was a good girl. She made it to 15. Her sister's are right behind her so I have more heartache on the horizon.

What's up guys? Glad you stopped by to have a looksy. I do have an UPDATE on my plants. I gave them their second CAT drench today. I'm trying really hard to feel my soil and judge when to water. I have been watering when the soil gets to the consistency of the soil when it's cooking.
I take a 5 gallon water bottle that I have filled up with RO water. I added 20 ml of the CAT drench and 2 ml of the tea. I mix it all up and water my girls a half gallon at a time. The buds are getting bigger every day on the OGKs. The Carnivals are getting bigger but it's not as significant as the growth of the OGK.

Duggan, I have a question. We discussed possibly taking down the scrog as soon as they stop stretching
Although, I don't really want to do that, it seems as though the only way I can get my Ventilation assembly moved up is to take the plants out and do it that way. I wish I would have had the foresight to see that in the beginning. Do you think it's more important to keep everything in place as it is or do you think it's more important to move that ventilation assembly?

Ventilation bro! No doubt...especially if the plants are really packed in there. Dont risk mold bro. Our plants are super healthy and can withstand pretty high rh but they need that airflow.
If you're using a mesh net, I'd just cut it out and let some air flow around.

Yeah, I'm moving it to the floor for this grow. I have tons of room down there. I'm thinking I will need a few more fans when I add the 400 watt light. It's air cooled but I think the temps will be a little higher with the extra light. I plan on hooking the 400 in line with the ducting for the 600 watt. That way I can hopefully cool both lights with one exhaust fan plus the additional fans. At least that's the way i see it in my head. Who knows.

The plan sounds good.

I'm impressed with how well things went. It looked like you'd let them go too long, but the scrog spread 'em out beautifully. From here, at this stage of bloom, it should be easy to just tuck the higher branches under some lagging ones - no sweat.

Good idea about the extra light, Duggs.

This is gonna turn out well!

By the time Noob's bloom tent was ready for them , they were already quite large , so his challenge has indeed been met ....he's winning, and things are lookin good...soon to be awesome. Thank you Graytail. Lesson learned, a lot of lessons learned on this grow. I'm glad I have people such as yourself to help me along the way. I use your feeding guide per plant to help me get my amounts right. You've been helping without even knowing it.

I have some bamboo stakes that just might do the job. Otherwise I will tie them to the ceilings ala yo-yos.

There won't be any timing problems on my next grow. I'm growing straight clones for my next grow. I'm not even starting it until this one is almost finished. I wouldn't be to the point I'm at now if it weren't for you big guy.

Hey bud!! Happy Saturday night ! About the timing thing, there are so many ways to do it ....since i only have a small veg area under a 4 tube T-8 fixture, i'm limited to about one month from seed,...in the corner . After that they're cryin to get under more light and in more soil. So this is it ...i do 3 crops a year with a one month overlap near the end of every crop. Every crop takes approx. 5 months from seed. So 5x3 =15 months - 3 months worth of overlaps =1 year or 12 months. It has been working out very well doing it this way , using two "Kits" in rotation. very effective system, if i do say so my self. Harvest between 20 - 25 z's every time.

Adding the second tent would make it a truly perpetual grow if I can figure it out. I'm only running one more grow this year then I'm shutting her down until I get back from vacation. Then, I'm going to do something different. I'm cleaning out the whole room, then restarting from scratch. I want a perpetual grow but I'm not sure I can pull it off with my limited amperage. Might have to go LED to pull it off. I really don't want to do that but I might be forced to.

Top of the afternoon to ya bud! this whisper i hear of you going LED excites my senses. your heat issues would be OVER. No more cooled hoods etc. If ya do your research and get a good one , and oversize it, put it right at the top and forget bout it!! I haven't , and won't touch my lights , all the way thru...hopefully , if these Lilly's behave for me after flip. You should see em bud....i'm gonna throw up some pics of the GR a lil later . I just love my LED's. Budmaster 2 is the shit ...i just love it! The Advanced XTE, 400 is a bit newer and is just what i wanted . For the longest time i wanted a powerful, long light to hang beside the BM and , just like SS said ...if ya want it bad enough ,...it will come to you....and it did ..thru an opportunity and friendship!
