Cause She's A Brix House - Noob's OG Kush & Carnival In DBHBB

Hey bud....no , don't SC them now...try and get those few taller ones back down under the screen. Can you sort of lift the screen a bit and pull them down. Once they're under , then you can gently move them over some , so they won't be back up for a few /four days ya know. Otherwise the canopy will NOT be even and you'll have sacrificed some yield. Get the most out of this scrog...let it do for you what it can...keep those leaders to within two inches max of each other....then you'le have a gorgeous looking canopy at the end with a complete screen...every square. This is how you can slow it's vertical growth too...you should take this chance now....your window is closing...as those taller leaders will soon get way ahead of the rest and they'le be a real bitch to manipulate ,being so far above the rest. If you have to,...move the fan/filter down, but then add more air circulation up top so replace that with an oscillating fan to keep that high up air moving well. get it out of the way some how...it's also blocking some light , and that's not cool. cheers Noob...looking forward to the BH pics...have ya got one of those lil scopes to check it out?....dugg's.:high-five:

I got ya on the leaders thing. I misunderstood. I will get in there tonight and give em hell. It's funny. I have been trying to move the shorter ones up by crossing other branches. Your way is probably easier.

I'm excited about the BH and I do have a scope. After watching some videos in making BH, I might need to find something like what Growlow uses instead of the spoon to agitate the trim. I will let you know before I try it.

Mornin Noob....just use a broom handle or a stick! Remember to use lots of ice and only mix round and round for about 15-20 min's. OK!

Try to smash the Ice up at it's coldest to create shards. This assists in agitation when not using machinery! Hope I find all of ya's high and happy. I'm going to light this sucker and pass it on! :passitleft:

Hey guys. Made the BH already. Trying to upload pictures but I'm having a hard time getting them uploaded right now so I'm going to take a break and come back.

I only stirred it up for 10 minutes. I used a wooden t ball bat which worked beautifully. I only took the 120, 73, and 25. The color difference between the three is definitely noticeable. I have the BH separated by grade on cardboard. I tried to break them up as much as I can. How long do I have to keep the BH on the cardboard to dry out before I can collect it and start smoking it?

Cheers guys

Ah bubblehash. I went to Amsterdam before the turn of the century and went to Mila's shop. She is the creator of bubblehash. I bought my ice-o-lator bags there from her. In her shop they were using a broomstick in a big 40 gallon tub. I asked her if I could buy some. She took out what looked like a tan stick of butter and sliced me off a huge hunk for @20 bucks. Super nice lady. She had psychedelics of every kind in her shop. Peyote buttons, many types of shrooms, DMT containing plants, it was a paradise. I sampled some of her homemade salvia concentrate and had an out of body experience!

That was also the trip where I bought the Twister seeds!

Congratulations Noob. Your first bubble hash. :high-five:

Good evening, by the way. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Thanks nis :passitleft:

Dude are you talking about the old lady at the pollinator place on the water. I was there in 09. She's still there if we are talking about the same lady. She was a trip for sure. Cool times. Thanks for the time warp shiggs

Hey Noob, fantastic ! Ya, you used the very same bag sizes as me. You can start smoking tomorrow...it'l be a lil better in color and will be just about dry enough to seal up. Smoke tomorrow , but give an additional day , to be sure it's good and dry. Don't worry about over-drying it , you won't . how'd ya like how it looks ?

I'm a little worried that I wasted some. I only did one run through the bags but I have read about people doing 3 or three runs on the same material. I just went once and put the leftover greens in the compost.
I have the 3 different grades spread out on cardboard. I broke up the grades the best I could to get an even dry. So it looks like almost powder but three different colors. Bubbleman sifts them through a strainer on to the cardboard but I didn't have one so I broke it up best I could with a knife. Hope I didn't Fuck it up

I've been doing at least 2 runs with my trim. :slide: I'm pretty sure I even got more the second time on one batch - didn't weigh it. But I'm still learning, and probably don't get most of it the first run. I just squeeze everything out of the wad of mash that's left in the 220 bag and refreeze it - makes for a nice cold second run.

And I'm impatient after I do the work, so I've been popping mine in the oven at 170 degrees to dry it. I heat the oven, turn it off, and then set everything - cardboard, parchment and hash - in there for 20-30 minutes - works quite well. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's still moist and greasy, but it's smokable. A few minutes in the freezer makes it easy to scrape it off the parchment with a razor, et voila - nice fresh hash. :cheesygrinsmiley: And then the next day it's dry.

I was using 1 gallon bags, but I got myself a set of 5 gallons and produced a nice half inch cube of 25 grade last run. Ima be smokin' off that one for awhile. :tokin::laugh: A BB sized piece at a time is all I need.

[Edit] And it's really cool that both you guys had some of Mila's stuff! :yahoo:

That's it! Leicestraat or something like that. Totally the Pollinator lady! Wow so awesome. We stood in the same place a decade apart!

I went there because I had read so much about ice water hash and how potent it was. When I was there that stuff was like 45 euros a gram. It kicked my ass too. So I had to go see the lady who basically invented a lot of different hash making methods.

Very cool that we had a similar experience 9 years apart.

Cheers bud

Crap. I knew I should have kept going. But I figured I already got it out so what else could be in there. Live and learn. I still have a pretty good amount to last me a while.
Great tip on drying in the oven. I live in a low humidity area so I just set it up on a shelf to dry on the cardboard, out of the reach of my kid.

Cheers Graytail

Hash you say..I'd strongly suggest getting one of these presses...in expensive and a great tool for any type of hash making...youll love it ..
