Carmen's Winter Autos With ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro!

Space is becoming a bit tight. Suggestions would be welcome? The second Gelato auto isn't going to stay that size for much longer. This Parmesan has grown bigger than all my expectations, and has a way to go. I'm almost tempted to move the G1 plant to the outskirts to give the G2 plant the best chance for a better harvest.

Nothing has to happen quite yet and I am rotating the plants in their spots throughout the day. You may have noticed that I moved the Parmesan to the other side. I'm not sure why I did that, I had a bee in my bonnet. Oh, it was to do with the fan. It's a denser plant so I wanted it closer to the fan.

Thank you for looking in and if you have any  what I can do with my 3 plant grow, please let me know.

That spare lady would do well outside pn days like the last few we have been having. Just saying. Green and going. Winning
The weather has been divine. It blew a gale last night, but today I was sleeveless in the sun. Everything in the garden is in flower and I'm having to start manually watering again.

I've been considering putting the plant outside but I have some reservations. Outside my unit is no longer my property. When it gets pongy it might annoy the neighbours. They might feel as I do, that it is a security risk. I could bring it inside at night but then I may contaminate my indoor space with bugs. I'm leaning towards keeping it inside where it's legal and private.

Maybe I can keep rotating the plants throughout the day, changing their positions too?

Yes to this. Perhaps throughout the day is not needed, but rotate them at least daily.

Flower pics

Not a lot to do atm. I am pretty sure I should be defoliating my Parmesan, but I'm too scared. It's a tangle. The flowers are very close together.

Just watering at intervals, watching and waiting.

Defoliate or delarf?

Pretty pics!
Well I'm not entirely sure and that's why I am not rushing in with the snippers. What do you think Shed? This is one of your areas of expertise and I feel immobilized by doubt and fear lololol.

Gotta figure that immobilized by doubt is better than cutting first and changing your mind after! I would take just enough inner foliage to make sure the leaves aren't leaning on each other, and only take off the tiniest flowers growing on the very bottom of the branches.

I might take a different approach if they were 3 feet tall and likely to produce long tops, but these don't look like they're going to do that, so better more flowers where ever they happen to be.

Ok I will do my best. I will wait a day though because I watered today and there is a droop. I really am nervous :nervous-guy:

Pretty pics!
I didn't thank you. Thank you :) I really get a kick out of documenting the grow.

I didn't wait. I got stuck right in. It's a horrible job. I took a lot off. There is a fair amount of leaf damage from the calcium deficiency that set in from bottom watering. Today I dosed the plant with calmag.

And while I'm at it, We may as well have canopy views of the Gelatos. They couldn't be more different.

Shed, if I've taken too much off the Parmesan please tell me.

 So you can put some back?

I think it looks nice and airy but I wouldn't take anything else. :welldone:
Haha, so that I will know to do something differently next time I handle something like this. Thank you, but I took too much, didn't I ☹️ I wished I had someone with me to help me decided.

You didn't take too much if every one of those leaves was blocking airflow!
Most of that is larf and where there is leaf it is mostly from secondary branches. There were a lot of secondary branches that I took off because they were blocking airflow I thought. I'll get some more pics up. If I could have left them on, will you tell me?
