Thanks bro. They are some nice buds. Great smoke my friend. Speaking of ASE, I'd swap ya some ASD for some of your gear man, it's looking super tight. I'm thinking I found my yield issue too. Timer was on for 12hr15min each day, it has those super tiny 15min jobbie detents. I don't know if that was what it was, but with my low PPM feedings and the timer, I'm only pulling about 60% of my norm.

Thanks Bapple! I can see why he went though it, it's bomb. :volcano-smiley: HSO did a great job with this strain. I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about it. She's got something special, I dig her alot. Fan Club member #2 it seems. :cheertwo: I'm looking forward to see you run her outside.
 
Cool CS, on Sunday when I do my photo update, hopefully you'll be able to help me tell which of my two unlabelled photos is the the ASD. When I visited the girls today I think I can tell which one she is already , but it's fun to get everyone guessing. Also as you noted she is a nute hog, I could not give her all she wanted in the Sept to December grow because the combination of the low temperatures and slowed down rate of transpiration plus nutes would have ended in tears, I actually did not water that plant with water or nutes from early November till I harvested ( it rained about once a week during that period)

The Portela is supposed to be a real Prima Dona so it would be a disaster if I started throwing nutes at the fussy girl instead of the nute hog.....

Congrats on the Blue Dream & the ASD Carestaker. As far as the disappointment with BD just remember; that's 151 more grams than you had in your stash.

Thanks BAR! I know, and you're right. I obviously wasn't as medicated as I should have been while posting, and maybe too medicated when I set my timer. It's still a huge amount of sticky buds, and it keeps getting better as the days go by. Ms Staker is a big fan of it. It's her fave of the bunch so far, although she also loves the ASD. :volcano-smiley:

Thanks Sheeple! I'm just griping that I didn't get the most out of her. I'm super happy with the quality, and so freakin happy to have some top shelf buds to fortify the bunker. :Namaste: I was like OUT of pot, living like a prole.

Thanks B! :thanks: And back atcha. With nute levels, and the pheno I had - I found that ASD liked organics more than chems, and she didn't need too much to keep her happy. But that's indoors. You must have been feeding her something she liked. :) Your Portela may need even less, especially where you have a landrace parent. I just searched and read that she's fussy, but wow she's interesting, so I'm excited to see them both outdoors. :cheertwo:

MK came in really light too. 66 grams. :straightface: Oh well. I wasn't chasing yield in this run, just the opposite, and I pulled more than a couple branches before harvest.

With that said, It's among the best tasting weed I've grown to date, and the high is pretty ridiculous - so I'm pretty happy :tokin:

Chopping soon: Candyland is getting close, and Holy Grail is still swelling.
CL is very purpley, and HG looks like she will drop some really frosty nugs - she's fading nicely.

Going to update on CL and HG69. I have chop photos for CL, she's coming down as I type.

First, some Kush trim photos. I'm going to do a little parade of nugs when all the strains have been dried.
Amazingly complex taste, exquisite flavor, maybe the best I've had.

The stump of Blue Dream, pretty thick for this girl, considering a short veg and soil. Vigorous roots.

ASD contributed 92 grams to the bunker, not including the sampling and testing :volcano-smiley: I was assuming she'd go 150+, so she's lighter than my expectations at the same percentage as the others. This is enough evidence to me, that the cause was the timer, and not the feed. I'm just glad I found it, and fixed it. :Namaste:

Up next is CL choppers. :circle-of-love:
 
Harvest Candyland, 74 days Flower
(Born, 12/10 Topped 12/27, Photo 2/1, Flower 2/7, Harvest 4/22)

I let this girl go a bit longer as the trichs were still pretty clear, but she's looking ripe, and there's a line for the flower tent... so she went choppers. When I was trimming her fans, I noticed her smell. It's got a sinister dankness to it - but it's down low. There's a new top note to her aroma - a greasy lemon-sugar smell that smells clean and dirty at the same time. I'm going to quick dry some to see how she is. Way too Kushed to sort these, so I'm just gonna dump em. She's purple, so there's some extra pics ;) :cheertwo: :volcano-smiley::circle-of-love:

HG69 is up next, she's finally packing it on. She's got some Haze in her, and still had lots of clears, so I thought I'd let her run a bit. She's comin' down this weekend. :Love:

I got a little nug drying today, I'll do some testing after work. :) I have her clone flowering as of today. I was thinking of culling her if she doesn't stretch to give me more plant/bud, but I'm guessing that I'll let her run. ;)

ASD is some nice stuff. Flavor is really coming together, and she's barely dry. I have her clone ready too - she's been trained a bit more than my normal 'snip-we're-done' style. I topped, then pinched lightly, and did some defol over the last two weeks - hoping to get her dialed in. :cheertwo:

:high-five: Thanks BAR, and thanks for that double dose of Reps. I did some informal testing, and she's got impressive flavors. Too early to tell about the rest, but I'm hoping she gets straight. :)

ASD clone ready to go in to 12/12. She's only 18" and I wanted to let her grow taller, but I'm running out of time, and she's a ten week runner start to finish, so I'm tossing her in now. Even though she's smaller than her mom going in, I'm hoping she'll put out quite a bit more, while maintaining the same quality. :cheertwo:

Harvest Holy Grail 69, 77 of Flower

She's faded nicely, and her second round of pistils are about 50% dark, so I'm pulling her. She's been on water for over three weeks now. She's got ATF, Chronic, and Haze in her...and the smoke is shaping up nicely. I was expecting 2-3 from her, and it looks like she'll deliver pretty easily. She's got some nice resin, and the terps are full and present. Flavor is still bright, but rounding off - too early to tell much.
