All hail the queen. Dang that is just a glorious shot.

Thannks CS! Hybrid seems to be the way, I and my plants love it. I also recently added t5 lighting under the canopy. Going to be getting more under lighting next grow. Got to go check out stages frow now ;)

:thanks: CareStaker. My garden is happy. But not as happy as yours. :cheertwo:

And don't worry - you can't have enough photos of such magnificent specimens. :bravo:
:circle-of-love:
PS Congratulations! Page 42.0

Thanks Mr. T :thanks: I LOVE your garden, and your journal, it cracks me up, and brightens my day. Your ladies are all amazing too. You certainly have the touch! :circle-of-love:

That's one sweet update Carestaker, those girls are flawless!

Thanks Reg! The only thing I've really changed is the water. I'm off the tap, and am now shopping at the store to fetch their water. :MoreNutes::volcano-smiley: Funnily enough, even though there is negligible CaMg in the water I'm using, I'm not compensating by adding more to it. Somehow, I think something in my city water was affecting the uptake of Ca. I'm only using 5ml/gal and not 7ml-10ml as I would be if using the tap, so something in the tap is off. I know spring water isn't a viable long term solution, but I can see getting an RO filter when funds allow.

Wow, what a collection! You have talent, very nice, very nice.

Thanks PG, nice of you to say. Sometimes I feel like I'm just the water carrier! :) I'm not going to jinx anything, but this is a great run for me, there's only the one mutant, but I'm gonna love her too.

they're stacking up real nice :circle-of-love:

looking very happy and greener than ever, thats good medicine :thumb:

:thanks: Here's hoping brother! I'm running low on my own stuff, so it can't get here soon enough haha :circle-of-love:

:thanks: Stage! She's got a honking big trunk, and is really thick, strong and straight. I'm excited to see how thick she'll get, should be fun to watch! She's an easy feeder, so just a bit twitchy, but otherwise pretty easy so far! :circle-of-love:

I was thinking of you when I took the set of the Kush. :hmmmm: I was like AS has that DS, and he might want to grow the MK, so I should make sure I get at least one really good one of her. She's better in person, as all plants are IMO, but a MK x DS cross might be something you would have fun cooking up ;)

:thanks: GFC! I have had good luck with hybrid. I didn't really plan it that way. I progressed from CFL > LED > LED/HPS/CFL, but have dropped the CFLs dunno why really.

It may get brighter in there soon though, but I haven't yet figured it all out. I do like having the penetration of collimated single die LEDs, and the spectrum they provide - and the brutal power of the HPS, just overwhelming them with light, and helping to raise the temps to where I need them. In late Spring, I may be 100% LED, and will then decide on whether to use the HPS again next winter, or put a heater in there. Might as well heat with light IMO. :laughtwo:

Thanks for all the support everyone :thanks: it made for a very nice start to the day! Big smiles and great green vibes to you all ! :)

CareStaker, the dog ate my SWD!!

Yeah! I got my beans yesterday and left them on my side table in an open jar ...

This morning, I find the little ziplock with nuttin in it! Grrrr! Bad dog! What is it about dogs and their teeth? He worked on that little lump on the corner of the bag until he got it out.

Thank goodness it was just the one.

Heheh, I'm gonna have the same problem with lights. I've been collecting stuff, and there's some exciting new stuff coming. :;): I have a 250w MH, a 600w hps, and I recently scored a 400w CMH I'd like to use in a hybrid. But ... um ... what am I gonna do with 'em? In a couple weeks, I'm gonna have over 3500 total watts of light for a 4x4 and veg. :thedoubletake: I have a 1 meter tent I can set up, but still ...

:laughtwo:
:hmmmm:

... maybe I should pop another purple Panama S1. :cheesygrinsmiley: See how it does under a whole buncha light.

Hahaha! That's sad to hear, but that's pretty funny. My cat prefers seedlings, can't get enough of 'em, so I feel your pain. I'd love to see the 400w CMH with say (2) 200-300w draw LED panels as outriggers. I haven't thought about the CMH, but that's a pretty interesting idea. I think the advantage of CMH is the wider spectrum, but in hybrid, the LED would also be doing that, so depending on the outputs, the extra energy of the HPS might work better. The CMH might do better quality though. Only a few ways to find out, and I can't wait to see them! :) :high-five: Let me know when the journal goes up, I'm gonna need a good seat ;)

Ooooh, your PP S1 would get so lush with all that light...:cough: NOTM winner!
I'm going to drop my last Pana Reg in the next week or two, planning on a 40 day veg, and a 4 footer or so :) Maybe I'll catch the purple.

Boy, I'd say you took a good one. I want to use that as my avatar :laughtwo: You got an artistic eye man.

MK x DS, why you gottta feed ideas in my head? You know I have CSBD (compulsive seed buying disorder). :laughtwo: I told myself no more seeds. Wish I had got a bean or two of MK a few weeks back when I placed yet ANOTHER (i need counseling) order for seeds thru Bonza :laughtwo: That would be fun to cross those 2 strains though.

Hello CS. Do you already have this type of LED or are you going to get one? Would be killer in your hands.

Aww, thanks BL! :thanks: Yes, that is what I'm currently using. With HPS being point-source, I thought it best to pair it with something that was the opposite. Since these LEDs are collimated and distributed across an array, they penetrate really well, and have a shorter distance to canopy to begin with. I tested it out with a tall plant, and wanted to see if it could fill out the bottom nugs.

Here are the informal 'test' pics. Plant was pretty tall.
Nugs were solid at less that one foot from the soil, so tons of vertical coverage for that plant/light combo. If I wasn't using HPS as well, I might do it differently.

These fat goblins ....

 Do you have a climate dedicated climate controlled seed vault yet? No?
Totally within reason then. :surf:

Since we're confessing. I have ASE, or Acute Strain Envy. I always want what everyone else is growing.

Some prizes from NOTY have come in.
:cheertwo: There's an update in the thread itself, so much gear and swag, it's pretty crazy. :cheertwo:

I've already put the PAR-FORCE to good use, it's in Veg mode right now, and it's impressively bright for it's draw. I was pretty shocked when I lit it up.

I'm using some space at a buddy's for these...his Chrystal and M.Kush in 5-gal pots on the left, and clones of my current strains, being transplanted into 2-gal grow bags on the right. The plants aren't in tip-top shape, due to busy schedules, but they will be put on the right path with some vitamins, enzymes, humics, benes and Mycos.

Half hour after LED setup, Chrystal and M.Kush on the left, and current strains on the right.
Party-cup-clones underneath LED were put into grow bags....

There are (2) 400w Metal Halide lights operating on the left, and the PARFORCE on the right. The plant do favor the LED, over the MH, but that's seems pretty, Par-for-the course, with LED. :) I've got 6 plants under it, and it's working well so far. I wouldn't flower 6 under this though, but not all of these will be flowered.

:peace: 'n

:high-five:

Heheh, I can hardly wait, myself! I'm gonna run mine in a 5 sqft sprouting space - 16x48 inches - perfect for that footprint. :cheesygrinsmiley:

i see that you prefer chain hanger over string, i like chains too :thumb:

great panel buddy big props :circle-of-love:

I've just seen the new goodies that the annual winners get. Well done sponsors and :420: for putting an extraordinary package together.

And :bravo: CareStaker - and Graytail. Enjoy your just rewards.

I still think the 420 stickers are the cherry on the icing on the cake. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Dude, I'm so excited for the stickers! I went to install them in the tent, but I didn't want to place them without thinking about it first. The shirt and large nug jar are also most coveted. Thanks for Teddying up this place, it needed it. :)

I'm wicked crazy about some things, and there's always something as backup :) and a fire extinguisher handy. And some frosty nuggets. Thanks brother :passitleft:
