Carestaker's - Hybrid LED / HPS Powered 4x4 - Various Strains

Nice CS!

Blue Dream:dreamy: She's a beastly beauty. The sour diesel is gorgeous. Can't wait to hear what you think of that smoke. HSO looks to have real good genetics.

I'm thinking HG 69 is going to pick it up for you. It looks like she is shaped to produce some fat colas if she does (fingers crossed). Hopefully Candyland produces some quality smoke for you in return for all the TLC.

Oh, and be careful with MK. All that ice will cut your fingers. :)

Keepin it green my friend. :thumb:

Thanks Budddyy! It's really habit.... but I once read that if you pinch off the leafs, you should pinch them far from the branch, so that in the case of any infection, it is kept further from the main stem, and might be contained in the petiole. I don't know if any of that is true, but that's what I've always done. Good eye. :)
Makes sense. From here on out think I'll do this when defoliating or removing damaged leaves.

Thanks Smiles. I went back to look at 69. You might be on to something, she looks like she might be getting her swole on. MK too. :circle-of-love:

:high-five: Can't hurt, but I'm not sure if it helps, but yeah - it makes sense. I just grab em and pinch - often without looking once I locate the stem by hand, so it ends up somewhere in the middle.

I'll be feeding for the next week, and then will cut it in half for another five days, and then just water & molasses till they ripen. :cheertwo:
Hoping they fade nicely. :goodluck:

ASD put out some sacks down low, that I somehow missed. A couple looked older, and must have dropped some pollen. I was watching her, as she's got Chem as a parent, but they were sneaky sacks, very pale and on the lowest bud nodes, where I was looking for bright yellow nanners, higher up. I'm sure my eyes aren't what they once were either. I found a couple of seeds in ASD, but haven't seen anything to indicate that any of the other girls got 'lucky'. BD is pushing massive amounts of pure white pistils, so I'm taking that as a good sign. I can't really blame the genetics, as these plants all were subjected to some cold temps briefly, during the move.

The upside is that I don't see a bunch of swollen calyxes anywhere, and I I'm smoking some od the ASD now (i cut all the lower buds that nannered ) and it's pretty insane for being this immature. I'll run her and Candyland once more to see if it's the genetics, or their reaction to the temp change in late Veg. I assumed they were stabilized, but who knows. I was upset for missing them, but it looks like I'm going to get great things from both of my problem girls. I put ASD back in the tent, and will see if I can get her to ripen fully. I'll get an update together soon. Peace and love.....and don't forget to look way down low :)

CS,
I have ordered some HSO genetics also. ( I know, my ASE kicked in) :high-five:
I picked up the auto fem SD, plus the fem BD from HSO.
I am watching this grow closely my man!:nomo:
Happy to see you liked the test buds!:circle-of-love:
I chose auto SD for two reasons:
#1 cause your'e running it. :adore:
#2 I love diesel/gas/chem strains but they take 10 to 12 weeks to flower.
Going auto gets me there in half the time.:thumb:

EDIT: Amherst SD....oh oh. My bad. Never mind. (In my SNL Emily Litella voice):tokin:

OK, something different. I'm all over the place with life's little surprises, so I'm going to update as I can, one plant at a time. These pics were from two days ago.

In other news, Ms. Staker has asked for her own seed to grow. How excited am I haha! I started growing to provide us both with meds, so I'm super excited that she wants to learn for herself. She picked from what we had, and it's Purple Trainwreck in Fem form. I'll be adding her to the journal, but she may decide to journal on her own too. :cheertwo:

Hoping to get all 5 of them posted today. Here's the Candland runt, first in line as always. The buds she's building are pretty sweet. Yield is low, but that's fine, I'll have enough for while :)

Wicked Bud porn here. Dont ask where my hands are.
Now....THATS GOOD NEWS!
Sorry for the caps CS, but having your spouse onboard is a wonderful thing! :bravo:
I wish my ol lady had passion for the herb. She like the medibles, but not the smoke.:smokin2:

nice to hear you'll have a team effort. My hope is to get my wife on that same path...I'll show this to her ;)

Great update, as always!

agreed

there is nothing that sucks more than having noone to share the gift of your garden with.

Take my word for it Carestaker, If you think you have a good relationship now wait until you start gardening together. Since Babygirl & I joined forces we're like two peas in a pod; inseparable!

Can someone say CANDYLAND...

It is tough, can't talk to my wife about it, she gets bored quickly. I don't dare tell my closest friends from this area as some of them clowns would, talk, and or try their luck sneaking some when I'm away. So, all I have is you folks,, for now ;) But I'm not complaining ;)

Master Kush, day 35 flower ( pics from 3 days ago )

She's frosting up nicely. She hasn't shown me any signs of being over or under fed. I hit her tips once early in flower, maybe week three, but otherwise she hasn't pushed back at all. I'm not feeding her agreessively, but might on subsequent runs. She smells like candy grapeberry syrup. Really nice plant. Hoping for a late swell.

What a fat beast. She's reeking of blueberries and sugar, and the smell instantly improves your mood. She's pretty frosty, but not as much as the ASD or MK. Her production is pretty amazing though. I sampled some last night, and the tastes, even without dry or flush, is everything you read about. Tart blue, and hints of smokey haze. A love affair really.

Thanks Stage, I'm pretty stoked. Good to hear your girl has good taste! :cheertwo:

Thanks PG, That's awesome! The herb has brought us closer in more than one way, and this seems a natural extension of that journey. :) I'm hoping Ms. Staker will chime in eventually. Best to Ms. PG too!

I love that you used the word gift. It truly is. It can also be a very solitary endeavor, when there's no one to share in your joy and excitement over a well grown plant. I agree though, that his place, has been a great help, where we can all share with each other. :high-five:

That's truly amazing to hear, and watch in your journal. I may lurk and 'like', more than post, but I love watching our plant bring humans together around it. It's special in that way, just like this place, and all of our family here. It's been very inspiring watching you and BG teach each other, and grow closer. You're produce has shown the love you both share too haha! :circle-of-love:

Going to pass along the Green Thumb! Nice. It would be fun to grow with the misses. My wife doesn't really dabble with the leaf at all so I can only share my new passion of growing with the good people here.

Where the other girls at? :)

Good to hear that she's been supportive in your love for it, even if she's doesn't partake. I'm hella glad you do share your grows here. Your girls are treats to behold. :circle-of-love:

More chicks coming my man!

My wife was the same for a long time, so things can change. It's a hard to keep quiet about a great love. Harder yet to trust some friends with it's knowledge. I'm glad your here sharing your grow - it helps a lot :circle-of-love:

thats how i feel about it, best precautionary medicine, also best medicine for a shitload of diseases eventho the goverments dont want us to know cause why the hell would they right, pharmas bribe them under the table so it stays a secret, they get their big cut while we cut trees in silence, isnt that the way its been for decades now.

i just hope people wake up at some point and realise that we have the power not them.

Sounds about right. :)

Yeah, it sucks to have to bottle up this joy and passion for something. It would be nice if we ever get to the point of how alcohol is viewed. I would like it better if those views were reversed. It seems things are moving in the right direction though.

Oh, and nice update CS!..Ain't no frost shortage up in hear. Blue Dream is divine!

HG69 - Day 38 Flower (Pics from 3 days ago)

She's been chillin and, taking her time. Pistils are starting to change, and she's starting to swell a bit, but the buds are still pretty small, but look pretty dense. I just hit her with another defol, and fed her a little heavier (50% strength) than normal. She's started to fade a bit, and after this feed, I'll taper her down. Her smell has changed to be similar to the Kush, with a sugary-pine berry smell.

ASD - Day 38 Flower

I'm barely feeding her. She's not very demanding for nutes, and doesn't complain much either. I hit her limits early on, and stayed far from them. She got a 1/7th strength feed as her last feed, for example. Reminds me a lot of Liberty Haze, which had a Chem parent too. I've sampled this one, and she's very promising. The taste isn't quite there, and it isn't supposed to yet, but the effect is very strong, and uplifting. The aroma is still developing though, but it is becoming an off smelling citrus and fuel, as the name suggests. My favorite strain is ECSD. This ASD is as close as anything I've had yet, but it's still very immature and buzzy, and she could change as she ripens. She's a bit sensitive, but I'll do her better next time, now that I know she's just a real light feeder. I think I'll be running her a lot in the future. I've got some clones of her about to flip soon, and some that are about two weeks from rooting. I'll add in a photo or two when I can.

Thing are moving along. We are looking for full legal here soon, it's just Med now. They bungled the whole MMJ rollout, and so it's looking like the bill will pass. No one here cares if you smoke, and it's rare that anyone gets hassled for smoking, even outside. Just don't be a Masshole about it. ;)

Thanks, AS! I do love me some trichomes. I love em when they get greasy. When you can reach your arm in, and it comes back really wet - and your hairs are all stuck together. :circle-of-love:
