Carestaker's - Hybrid LED / HPS Powered 4x4 - Various Strains

Thanks AS! :passitleft: I'm super happy with these girls right now. Happy Gardens! :circle-of-love:
When do we get a glimpse at round 3?

Thanks for all the Reps+ AllSmiles, GT & LES! :thanks:

It's coming man. It would be up already but my non soil skills and the WW not germing has delayed it. I want to get a couple new seeds to seedling stage before getting it going. That way there is a variety otherwise it'll just be NLx5 Haze by itself.

Pulled a couple of scrub buds for testing and they look pretty good. I am going to flush StrawBlue, F.Punch & DirtySkunk tomorrow. Panama gets one last feed, and CooCooSkunk will stay in her solution till just before chop.

Wee little Cotton Candy bud. She's the densest of nugs of this very sativa dominated run. I keep forgetting she is 65% Sativa.

Strawberry Blue. She's got some nice frost on her tops, and this bottom one has some nice cover too. She's got some diesel smell to her now.

Peace and Love! :peace::volcano-smiley:

that looks great, I haven't seen it mentioned yet but when you pull test buds how are you quick drying/curing?

Thank you kindly SD! Usually, I take some samples, and quick dry some in the oven 200F/20min, to try immediately. I also leave a bud or two to air dry, that I'll try ~3 days later. :rollit:

Right now I'm testing Cotton Candy, that is supposed to be pulled in about 6 days, but from the speediness, and short effect duration of her test buds, I may add up to a week, to her timing. I pulled a new one today, to test tomorrow after work, when I'm more attuned to the effects. :volcano-smiley: (ie. not blazed)

Awesome, I'll have to try that with my phantom cookies, Tuesday marks 8 weeks and it says 8-9 from the breeder. When I had smoked the strain previously it had way more purple then I have now, so I'm hoping that it needs a lil longer and gets some color. I'd love to see other people grow the strain too I bet some of you guys with more experience could make it insane!

I've also heard that temps will impact color too - something about 15 deg difference between lights on and lights off and lower temp in late flower brings out more color.

Well, it's getting colorful. Like Liberace. Dirty and CooCoo are both nannering hard, in a pre-herm state, just like good 'ole mom, bless her stem.

Soooooo, I dried some in the oven and it took me four times to write this sentence - so - it's good enough to chop.

Also, just put some fresh Panama and Cotton Candy in the oven to quick dry, and just snapped a few pix, so I'm going to go collect: resin remover, 3 trimmers, a barrel to trim over, a bong, a lighter, a fine drink, the stereo remote, ma plants, and some pots to wash them in.

I might need to come back to check that list. I'm hella high. I knew I grew this bastard for a reason.:volcano-smiley:

They ain't that big or pretty, but I can find some beauty in them. Even if they are genderplexed.

Two Flowering clones of the same age, just different media.
CooCoo is the larger one in Coco, Dirty is the smaller and better looking of the two. If you look in the second pic, you might make out some nanners. I do love the smoke. I'm layering on some fresh and early Panama and am going to enjoy this trim down and budwash. ;)

ahh.. my phantom is doing the same thing, such good smoke but hermie :/ all of those seeds would result in plants that are more prone to become hermie as well right?

Depending where you are in your cycle, you may not get seeds with your Cookies. I'm hoping not to see any seeds in the WWxSKs, or the other plants. I think I caught these two dudes early enough. I was expecting the herms, as their mom did the same thing. Hermaphroditic traits are very heritable from parents to children, so there is an increased chance of passing it on.

These went a bit longer than their mom, and actually look pretty decent after the trim. I wish the they went another week, but I'll take what I can get. They are drying now. I'm going to keep the hydro-grown WWSK, and the soil grown WWSK separate, for comparisons later.

Cotton Candy testing continued last night. She finally came together resin wise, and would be fine to pull on the 26th, but I've already adjusted to pulling her on the 30/31st.

Test buds from Panama, give a clear, straight sativa high, but they aren't yet ripe. A little buzzy on the start, and it fades too fast still, but it's coming together slowly. Should be fun when it's done. :)

StrawBlue is just chugging along. I really like how this plant grows. Easy breezy, and she's super frosty.

FruitPunch budstick is looking close too. 10 days or less on most of these! :) :circle-of-love:

Interested to see your CC finish, I got one CC free seed and the plant turned into a BEAST, got burned getting too close to LED. Her clone will be trained a few weeks into flower. It smells great now and looks like a while to go yet at ~day 40.

The The CC you have seems more stretchy than mine, and seems to lean more Sativa, so there must be a couple of phenos out there. I'm guessing I have the non-beast one. I'll be taking her on Sat, at 62 days flower. Easiest and earliest plant I've had in a while, but not a lot of stretch, although she did fill in almost completely. I was expecting a total beast, and got a pussycat. Sweet plant though, I like her too. :volcano-smiley::peace::Namaste:

Cotton Candy, from 3 days ago, just a few amber.

Panama, needs some more time

My CC was like yours, kinda runty and quick, not much of a stretcher. It hermied, but I got good buds at 6 weeks from flip. Nice trichs on yours!

I'm itchy to see how your Panama pheno finishes. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's a distinctly different high from other strains I've grown, and from what I've read, it's fairly consistent across phenos, other than the green being zippier. It's described as a dense or thick sativa high. I've been smoking a bit of mine again over the past couple of days, and the distictiveness is still there - definitely a buzz, but tempered by a non-indica sort of dreaminess.

Thanks GT! :thanks: CC is coming together nicely. I really like how stout she is. I think you were having heat issues if I recall, regarding the hermie.

Panama - I'm still not sure which pheno, could be green, could be red, but I'm getting itchy too. I did give her an accidentally hot feed (some time ago, best I can tell). I think I hit them all with KoolBloom instead of CaMg (same size bottle), or doubled up on some additive, not sure what, but it looks like burnt tips. I snipped some of the burnt tips/leafs off, to see if it was going to keep creeping up the leafs, but it seems to have stopped. The good news is that she's filling out a bit, and swelling up, and the buds look super frosty and healthy. Almost there. :)

As a side note, the burnt tips were mostly concentrated where the light was hitting the hardest, which were the largest buds. I think that I can draw from this, that the largest growing apical tips, get sent the nutrients - first. This makes sense, as they are the tops, and can make best use of the minerals, where the highest rate of photosynthesis is. To even it out a bit, I rotated the plant 180 degrees. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

Your ladies are always so colorful and almost feel like eating them, just like a fruit.:goodjob:

Thank you for you motivation and information, it sure will help new-bloods like myself.

Out,
Groovy Bud :Namaste:

Cool to have you here GBud! :welcome: Thanks for the kind words, it's always nice to hear! Feel free to make yourself at home here in this thread, and also at 420Mag in general. The members here are amazing. :peace::Namaste:

Couple of pics from the WWxSK harvest.
They came in pretty light at 29g for Dirty Skunk (half gallon pot), and 59g for CooCoo (3gal). Oh well, it's just for myself and family, so it doesn't matter much about the weight, but I was hoping to hit a certain number. It was an experiment of sorts though, with the Coco plant being my first. I'll try it again, but with a stable genetic. Did I say it was FUN smoke.....it totally is. So far, I prefer soil. :circle-of-love:
