Carestaker's - Hybrid LED / HPS Powered 4x4 - Various Strains

Hello CareStaker. I've visited your journal before. Always good topics & excellent pictures! Subscribing now & trying to read much more. I haven't learned how to manage myself on 420 & am getting a little out of control with too many subscriptions but glad I joined yours.

Very glad to have you, :thanks: for your support! Please make yourself at home, and feel free to comment, question, etc. Things are about to get a bit more interesting, as these girls are fattening up... and are getting ready for the home stretch. :circle-of-love:

I will try to get a big update together for the weekend, with expected harvest dates, and some natural light pictures. I'm really happy with all of the girls, even the skinny (but not yet hermie, knock, knock) WiddowXSkunks.

StrawBlue, so chunky, so sweet smelling. Even her side buds, are very large. I'd like to run this one again, with screen, to see what she can do with many tops.

Cotton Candy filling in, and getting heavy, she's fading nicely.

IMAG2646.jpg

Some Panama, sparkling beauty. She's swelling and still building calyxes. You can see some of her pistils maturing. I. Can't. Wait. :)

Good weeds, time for an update. :cheertwo: For the pics, I was looking for some natural light, to show what these strains look like, but I met varying success. I think I need to get them earlier in the day.

CooCooSkunk, is my first coco plant. I really should have read up more on coco, as she went a bit deficient. She's a bit of a fickle strain though, so who knows. She smoke very well, but she's tempermental, and doesn't yield all that well. This plant however might surprise me. She is bigger, and heavier than her twin in soil. Her buds are small, and not that frosty on the leafs. She's like a sativa, very thin leafs, and frosty mostly on the calyx.

IMAG27181.jpg

Cotton Candy, she's filling in, and has some good size buds. She's leaning a bit, so she's tied up. She is about 80 percent cloudy, but she's an indi, so she'll change up fast. I just cut her feed from 75% to 50%, even though she's starting to fade, and will flush her with florakleen after her next feed, as I think she'll be done first. I think I'm going to aim for on or before the 31st, which is <3 weeks.

StrawBlue. She's getting to about 50 percent dark pistils, so I'll start watching her next week. I didn't get a full body shot, I was blazed as christmas.

IMAG27333.jpg

Fruit Punch, Budsicle, she smells like her name, super fruity with some fiery smoke. If I didn't spill nutes on her, she's be spotless. I'm going to run her full sized, if she smokes well.

IMAG27843.jpg
IMAG27832.jpg

Dirtyskunk, in soil. She's a smaller plant, and she's build herself into a triangle to fit into the corner of the tent. She's very healthy, but doesn't have very dense nugs. I don't care, she'll grind up just fine. I like the smoke, although I'm not convinced there is any skunk in it really. I see zero -- wide leafed, dense nugged, IBL stability in this plant. She's like a fast sativa.

Panama, she's a peach.
She's looking like she's going to finish on time. She's got about 80 percent cloudy.

I hope to catch up on everything soon! Peace and love. :circle-of-love:

Nice update CS! I love your style. Everything is looking great. The Cotton Candy is starting to grow on me.

:thanks: Same here brother! ...and Me too, she's sweet and FAT! Super easy plant, that wants to produce. I'll do a proper smoke report, when she's done. She smells GREAT. :circle-of-love:

~3 more weeks on the Cotton Candy huh? Pretty fricken stacked already! :surf:

Damn brother your array of flowers are just jaw dropping :drool::drool:

:thanks: Thanks for the fine compliment Lester! :bigblush: I'm doing my best, and the girls are doing the rest :) CC was harvest sized at a month in. :thedoubletake:

She , went 12/12 on 6/24 and was flowering on 6/27, and so was scheduled for pull on 9/2 or around 65 days. I think I'm going to pull her a bit early, as she's an overachiever...but she's still drinking at the same rate, so I'm going to give her one last 50% feed today, then flush, just to see if I can get the last bit out of her, and still get a full two week flush. Hopefully, this will allow the Cotton Candy terps to fully develop too. She's kinda beastly, I like her. If it suits her, I will flush on the 14th, and pull on the 28th. Any swell would be great...cause she's already fat!!!! :circle-of-love:

Testing Panama flowers tonight. she's lovely. :circle-of-love: I spose she'll gain more legs,... but this is surely going to be nice to have on the shelf. Thank you, GT! I can impute a bit about what she's going to be, and I'm betting it's very, very nice. I can't wait to have her when she's done.

CC wasn't ready for her feed, so she's slowed down her uptake, and is signalling flush to me. She's got some random amber on her bracts, and slowed growth, so she's going to get 14 day flush, from her next watering.

Strawblue looks like she pushed out her last gasp, and has some really nice buds. I'll have to wait for her next feed to figure out when to start her flush as well.

FruitPunch grows itself, I don't even remember touching that plant

WWxSkunk pushed out tons of new pistols, as a solid round #2 of growth. They are still nothing special, but I would guess that the breeder of these things, thought so much of the smoke, that they kept trying to get the line right (but obviously never did, they are no-names from Herbs). Anyway, I'm yanking these unrluy tarts if they get too far out of line. Hermie patrol is now in full effect with these two - but as of yet - not one single nanner.

Panama might be closer than I think, but she's going to be last, unless the WWxSkunk go long.

Peace and Love. :peace::circle-of-love:

LOL, I was just thinking of you, CS. I pulled out the jar of Green Love Potion a couple hours ago and have been admring her terpenes since. :blunt:

They're nicer than I remembered - satisfyingly complex - in fact I got a sort of cedar from it that reminded me of Panama, and was wondering how yours is coming, ... et voila!

I can tell that you got into watching it grow. :cheesygrinsmiley: Mine had an exotic wild feel to it, with all its energy and its different sort of habit.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying her :high-five: She's so deeply floral, and decadent, a great night time treat :)

Added: Shopping for RO units. If I'm paying the power bills to light and cool, it just makes sense to make sure my roots are not getting stripped of benes, and my leafs are producing as much energy as possible. Thinking .. the RO100

CC was flushed yesterday with 1gal of water, w 5ml of Florakleen, for 10% runnoff, at day 47 of flower, which seems pretty early compared with my expectations for this genetic. She just looked ready, and was problem free, and I don't want to let her go long/amber. I did this due to the plant's total muturity, posture, uptake, pistil color, leaf color, and trich development. I'll count her down for two weeks, and I will continue to feed her carbs and vitamins (only Bud Candy & B-52), for one additional week, hoping to help tide her over, nutritionally. She's not smelling like cotton candy, and doesn't smell like she soon will....but who cares, she's getting pretty fat. ;)

Rest of em fed too. Home stretch. :)

:cheertwo: Harvest schedule :cheertwo:

Cotton Candy Flush 8/12, Pull 8/26 @ 60 days flower
Strawberry Blue Flush 8/21, Pull 9/4 @ 70 days flower
WWxSK in Coco Flush 8/28, Pull 9/4 @ 69 days flower
WWxSK in Soil Flush 8/21, Pull 9/4 @ 63 days flower
Fruit Punch Flush 8/21, Pull 9/4 @ 63 days flower
Panama Flush 8/26, Pull 9/9 @ 75 days flower

I may not set any personal bests (weight), as it's mostly lighter strains, but there is going to be some nice buds in there for sure. ;) My hand is cramping already. Peace and love! :peace::Namaste:

:cheertwo: UPDATE :cheertwo:

Hope all of your gardens are green, and happy! I am happy with this round so far, maybe minus the WWxSK, but they are a crapshoot even from seed it seems. I am a subscriber of the idea, that MJ plants should be allowed to yellow out, and fade. OK, here we go.

WiddowSkunk, Day 51 flower (coco) I doubt that there is ANY skunk in here, she looks more sativa than Panama, which is thought to be 100% sativa. I've never used coco before, and she got a bit deficient. She's a fickle one, so I'm not really sure if it's my doing, or just her being obstinate. You can see her topmost leafs have some Ca, and P defic. Also evident, is that she's putting out new calyx franchises, whose trichs should mature, right with my harvest timing - knock wood.

FruitPunch, Day 45 flower , the Bud-Onna-Stick. Such a sweet growing and smelling plant, with plenty of frost. She makes those gnarly calyx pockets full of swirled pistils. To me, that's a good sign. :)

IMAG28731.jpg

Cotton Candy, Day 51 flower. She's swelling a bit, and yellowing up just perfectly. I fed her molasses, and just a touch of BudCandy with her last water. Next feeds are all water/molasses.

Strawberry Blue, Day 52 flower. I really am impressed by these genetics. Strong plant, crazy resin, easy to grow and smells/tastes great. She's got a strong green pine note, but the rest is all fruit with a sweeter skunk smell way down low. I'm not sure how dense her flowers are, but they were the most potent of the test buds pulled. This is one to watch. Doubly so, if you want an easy plant to grow. My next order will include a couple of these, highly recommended.

Panama, Day 52 flower, , in the tent by herself mostly (just for pics). She's still got lots of clears, but has some amber on bracts, and she looks like 10.5 weeks will do her. I've noticed a recent push of pistils from her, and hope that that was her last spurt. If so, she'll finish on time. High trich density. Another great plant.

Peace, Love, and great green nugs! :peace::circle-of-love:

Great lookin' stuff, CS! And I also notice a fascinating consistency among the strains - you grow 'em all good!

It's great to watch another one of the Panama phenos up close. Your tops are more slender and less knobby than mine were, but the calyx/leaf ratio is similar - that was a bit annoying but the trichs were worth the extra trim hassle.

I've grown WWxSk#1 and Kerala x Sk#1 and both looked the same, just like yours and another I saw recently. I'm not a fan of the Skunk#1 if these crosses are indicative. But if yours can keep up that foxtailing, it'll be the best I've seen so far.

And great to hear about the Strawberry Blue. I have a freebie I almost popped a month ago but now that I got my duds replaced, it'll have to wait awhile.

+reps! Great work! :thumb:

You rock GT, thank you! I'm so happy that you get to see another Panama, especially a starkly different pheno :high-five: Glad to help out, haha. I have one seed left too. :)

I've grown a couple Lucy, which are almost all Skunk#1 (Skunk#1-x-Mazar)x(Skunk#1) and they are nothing but predictable, and easy, with very big and dense indica looking buds. These freebie Skunk crosses, just seem to be poor breeding, imo. There also seems to be lots of Skunk#1 interpretations and iterations, to further cloud things.

I really like the Strawberry Blue. She is a total breeze, and she delivers some nice things. She got Ms. Staker and I blazed with just a sub-canopy test bud, and it reminded me of the very best hybrids that were sativa dom. I might be way premature, but she worth watching. :circle-of-love:

hells to the yeah, looking good even with the deficiency

Thanks BN! :high-five:

Five strains, and I have to admit, they are all going pretty well. Even the ugly WWxSkunks, might come out alright. :circle-of-love:
You guys bring me some luck!

Thanks to the 420 fam. :thanks::420:

The plants look GREAT!!

One things for sure...im getting me some Panama seeds!!! Graytail already had me on the fences cause his were so great, now seeing yours im all in for panama!

Garden looks great again.

sending good vibes from my garden to yours!!!!!:high-five:

Well, I think it's safe to say that Panama is everything we expected! :cheertwo:

And More :)

:volcano-smiley: thanks....I love balloons! :cheertwo: She's amazeballz Les. Elegant, yet stout and productive. For a full sativa, she'll take nutes, she's got resin galore, and she's a fast. She's better than the pics, and might be the prettiest buds I've grown to date. You'll LOVE her. Plus, she's got four or more stable phenotypical expressions, with varying effects ! :circle-of-love:

Thanks for the good vibes my friend! :Namaste: Glad I could add to the knowledge base here, and thank you for the kind words, SGA!
When she's dry, I'll do a big write-up on how she smokes, and will post it up. :circle-of-love:
